I'd never used them if they're not close to my house. All the guys in there act like they're above the customers, so rude. One of my packages has leak, I tried to invest. They did not let me be in the store and ask me to take it outside???? They never help customers who have a handful. You ask for a piece of tape and they like too bad we have to charge you for that???? There are 2 guys who are especially rude, like they do not want to work there but it's their only option. I always drop off my packages I need to ship at this location because 1) there's always plenty of close parking, 2) they often leave the door propped open so if you're walking in with an armful of big boxes you don't have to worry about messing with opening the door 3) there's hardly ever a line since they keep this location well staffed 4) all the employees are super friendly & helpful. Warning: please be cautious, try to avoid here if you can, possible UPS employee theft! Everyone please be aware, I think some employees at this UPS location are stealing Amazon return packages. This has happened to me three times. I dropped off my packages at this location, however, later amazon told me they never received my packages. Since amazon offers no label, no box returns, all you need to do is to hand over your return packages to UPS. UPS would scan the code and give you a receipt. Here comes the tricky part, the tracking number on amazon return receipt is not an actual tracking number. You can not use the number to track the package on UPS website. The tracking number on receipt is more like a reference number which is useless. I believe some employees at this location used this, and stole some packages. For the first couple times my amazon returns went missing, I went back and asked the employees, different people would give me different answers, some told me it's not shipped, some told me it's shipped but not delivered yet. Disregard what they told me, the fact was those packages were never received by amazon. So I ended up dispute these with amazon, and amazon does have great service and refunded me anyways. Recently, the same thing happened again, and I do not believe this is coincidence any more. I do not believe my packages could go missing for the third time?! Although I do not have any proof, and I think that's why some employees are taking advantage of amazon returns, I do have serious concern of the potential thefts at this UPS location. And will report to UPS HQ. So please, do yourselves a favor, avoid this location if you can, at least for your amazon returns! read more

The associates seem unwilling to assist with any issue. They also seem very poorly trained. I tried to ship a package to Canada and the associate told me I'd have to drive to Aliso Viejo and go to UPS corporate. When I called UPS, they told me going to a UPS store was fine. One associate was "helping" someone and decided to answer the phone at the same time. The customer asked a question and the associate just asked the person on the phone to repeat themselves. Honestly, how rude. With this location, it's really hit or miss as to whether you leave happy or frustrated. We appreciate the recognition coming in to pick up our mail & the attention to detail in processing anything we need to do there. It's just like any other UPS store. I believe Amazon packages were stolen at this store. I have lost 2 packages after dropped them off here. After I dropped off my package, I cannot track their shipping status. When I called them, different people have different answers. They even told me that I can't actually track my package for about two weeks. That NEVER HAPPENED with any of the other UPS stores I went to before. I will personally report this incident to UPS headquarter and will provide them all the papeworks as well as my communication with Amazon regarding the 2 packages I lost. I needed some flyers printed by the weekend so I have the store a call. Daniel answered the phone and was very helpful in answering all my questions. I decided UPS store was the best place to get my printing job done. When I brought in my file, he helped me make sure the print was perfect. I needed a full bleed on my flyers that were half sheets and asked if that was possible. The printer didn't print with a full bleed so he trimmed each of the 200 half flyers by hand! They look beautiful and they did excellent work! I am so impressed and definitely know I can count on them for good quality with excellent customer service. read more

I tried to drop off a package for pick up at this location, the genius in the front told me that my package was too big to be picked up. My package was the size of a SHOE BOX. I asked him again just to be sure "you mean this package is too big for a mail truck?" He said "yes". Very, very, very slow service. Employees are obviously not properly trained. Unfriendly and dead-faced at the counter. They also do notarizations here and the kids that work the counter don't know what they are doing and end up slowing down the line. The post office on Sand Canyon provides faster service then this location. If not mentioned already, employees are unfriendly. The post office provides better customer service then this location. Not sure why this branch only has 2 stars. I actually had wonderful experiences here. I often travel to Irvine to work remotely and don't have access to my printer back home, so I come here to print all of my documents. I just email them what I need to print ahead of time, tell them what time I'll be there, and everything is ready for me to pick up when I arrive. So glad I found this place close to where I stay. They also offer notary services, which is a plus. Parking is easy too! Very convenient and recommended. No time wasted. read more

After 2 weeks, we FINALLY got our package. The lady who received our items was being extremely uncooperative and kept saying she had sent our things out when she hadn't. She was going around in circles saying the nanny sent it, then she sent it out late at night, and when she FINALLY sent it out, she called the UPS store to tell them to stop calling her. Well, if you had actually sent it out, you wouldn't be getting all these calls, would you now? Anyways, the guys at UPS were very helpful in updating us, calling the lady, and us to let us know the status of our package. Thanks guys! But I am forever scarred now and will always come in with my items already packaged and labeled, or watch my items get packaged and labeled before I leave. **I know in my very first review I said that I always have my packages labeled and packaged, but that's because I was dropping off packages for my work. Wow, horrible service here today. I had a preprinted label to send an iPad back to my corporate office. I showed up on a Saturday afternoon at 12:45 pm where two employees were working and there were zero customers in the store. After my experience, I know why. I brought the IPad in wrapped in bubble wrap along with my label and asked for a UPS mailer. The guy asked me what I was mailing and I told him it was an iPad back to my office. He put it on the scale to weigh it. There was no reason to do this, I had a prepaid label and just needed one of the UPS boxes to put it in and a pouch. I asked him for the UPS box. He told me that he could only give me a UPS envelope and it probably wouldn't be good for the iPad. I then again asked for the UPS box. He told me they charge for the boxes. That was weird, because UPS gives their UPS boxes to send things for free elsewhere, so I asked him, you guys really charge for a UPS box. He said yes. I took the iPad off and told him I would go elsewhere. I went to the UPS store at The District in Tustin where they had customers shipping things, and where I was offered great service. The employee there provided me with that UPS box and pouch I requested from this location, packaged it up, scanned it, and offered me a receipt. My advise, avoid this location at all costs. Horrible service and they charge for the boxes that are supposed to be free from UPS. These locations are all individually owned, and this owner is obviously greedy. read more

If only I could give this place a negative star I would. By far the worst UPS store I've been to in my entire life. This was my 3rd attempt at giving it my last chance. Sure enough it didn't prove me wrong. The staff is horrible. There were about 10 people in line and they only had 2 staff members, whom didn't even acknowledge this long line of people waiting. One of which was helping a client but was slow as molasses and don't even know what she was doing. The other was helping another client for 40 minutes and didn't look up once to say anything. Now that Hallmark cards are costing five, six or seven dollars each I have decided to make my own and actually, they're much more personal, and are appreciated by everyone! This UPS Store has one of the lowest ratings out of all the stores when you search in Irvine, and there is zero wonder why. 1) The past 3 UPS stores I have visited within the past 6 months have all happily given me a UPS-marked box, taped it up for me, and cheerfully shipped it with a printout confirmation. THIS ONE, however, charges you for a box AND "service" which includes "weatherproof packaging and tape." Wait. So tape is .. not free?! What is this, a government-run UPS store?! Even the post office will kindly tape up my box for me! And there is no option to just have them tape up a box that you already have - they SELL YOU A ROLL OF TAPE. He explained that each UPS store is independently operated. Yeah well no wonder your reviews suck. 2) The taller, unsmiling guy on Sunday afternoon around 3 PM needs a lesson in CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I told him I was trying to ship a few items, he gave me this weird look, which prompted me to be like, what, do you have boxes? Keep your judgey mcjudgerface inside your house, not when you're on the clock, pal. 3) They don't have boxes that are longer than like, 3 feet, so if you are mailing something longer (in our case, a paddle), they have to SELL YOU TWO BOXES so they can create one longer one. The experience I had at this location recently made me want to scream! BUT lesson learned... I should have read the reviews here on YELP before choosing this as a place to have my packages delivered via My Choice by UPS. DUH? What was I thinking? So I go into pick up my packages same day it was delivered. See, if you have a pkg redirected to a UPS store to hold for you, you have to pay online a $5.00 fee in order to do so - using UPS My Choice. (which I did already)... The girls at the counter were obviously new, and had a hard time figuring out how to enter my pkg info into the computer system. About 5 minutes later -- they say I'm all set, please sign here for your 2 packages. As I am walking out with my packages --- mind you --- I hear one of them call after me - "oh you need to pay $10 for your packages". What the? I already paid those fees online? Hello! So I turn around... And here is our conversation below: Korean lady with the glasses: (says to me from way in the back) "UHHH the button on the screen doesn't say that you paid!" Me: "There was no mention of an extra fee once I picked up my pkgs? Why am I being double charged???" Korean Lady: "Well the button here tells us you didn't pay, so you must pay before you can take your packages and you are our first UPS my choice Customer" Me: "OK, I'll go ahead and pay now -- but who can I talk to about getting this taken care of since I'VE ALREADY PAID?!" Korean Lady: "Go call UPS" ME: (I don't say it, but I'm thinking this - because I was trying my very hardest not to explode and cause a huge scene!) What the heck? What a rip off! And why is it MY job to call UPS to take care of some ridiculous charge that they said they didn't receive? Whatever so I call cuz it's no longer about the 10 bucks it's about the principle of "good customer service" that she obviously LACKED! Ultimately I finally got my refund... I WILL NEVER GO BACK!
