Not a customer-friendly place at all. This was my first time having to process a return through UPS since it was my only option. I deliberately left the top of my box untaped just in case they needed to inspect the item before shipping. Instead of just taping it up, the lady at the counter--who was quite rude about the whole thing--told me I either had to pay a $2 'packing fee' just to have them put a single piece of tape on the box, or I had to buy an entire roll of tape from their store to do it myself. It's absolutely ridiculous to nickel-and-dime customers over a single strip of packing tape. Very unaccommodating and frustrating experience. I definitely will not be returning to this location. read more

* TIP: DO NOT come here if you want to do any type of service before closing hours * Just came to this UPS store today and the doors were locked. I honestly thought maybe I pushed the door incorrectly or it was a mistake. I tried looking through door and actually saw an employee helping out a customer but they didn't seem to care to open the door. Why do the store hours state that they close at 6pm then? There were still 10 mins before closing hours but they actually just decided to close the store earlier then they're supposed to. So tell me what's the point of having store hours listed if you aren't going to abide by them? I had just went to another UPS store in Costa Mesa earlier this week and they were still taking in customers right before they close. It honestly says a lot about their business practice. I once brought a package that had very fragile candy in it, and when I told them I wasn't sure if it was packaged well they asked me if they could open the package and repack it for me!!!!!!!!!! Worst UPS store ever! Will never come back to this location! Bought the wrong size from Nike, I printed the label at home, sealed the box and have the paper label with me. One of the lady told me I have to tape the shipping label myself, she will do it this time, next time I'll have to buy the tape from them. I asked didn't they have the clear baggie with sticker in the back that all UPS store uses for paper label? She said they don't use it anymore. I had to mail/ship a few things, and this is only the second store I've been inside since the shelter at home order was put in place. They have a sign at the front "No Mask. No Service". No problem. No shoes no shirt no service so it's no big deal. It's a pretty small store, but they had little taped "X"s on the floor so people can wait in line at a distance. The employees had masks and were super friendly. Had a spectrum cable box and modem that I needed to return, and UPS will take it and box it up and return it for you. They also took the AT&T return box with no issues. I had a few oversized envelopes I needed to mail via USPS, and I was able to buy the postage and send them from there too. They wanted to charge me and made it a big deal. I brought a bunch of Amazon returns to this UPS store. They all had QR codes, but as we were scanning each one, 1 of the QR codes says it needs to be customer packed. Luckily, I had an extra shipping bag available so I stuffed the return into the bag and asked for a piece of tape for the bag. They said they have to charge me $2 for the piece of tape!!! My goodness, is this how they choose to do business??? I refused to do my return there and took my business somewhere else. I was working in Irvine for about 1.5 yrs and often move, so needed a new place to get my mail for a while, and found these folks, right next to the delicious-dessert-section-Zion-Market. This UPS place was basically awesome. Everyone I ever talked to/worked with was awesome. I'd go in there to check my mail, pick stuff up, drop it off, not often, but occasionally (once every two months?) -- i had one of the small mailboxes. Don't know what else to say. Trying to reconcile my good experiences with those of the folks who left bad reviews. If I was dealing with a family, then I prob dealt with every single person in the family, and it was consistent excellence - just super-niceness, helpful, etc. And not like the obligatory fake-smile stuff (which is actually fine to me), but like...how are you today? What can I help you with? How can I solve some problems for you and make your life just a bit easier since life in America is like almost impossible? came in to drop off a package with an already paid for return label 8am on a monday. explained i needed the label printed so i can send it. first thing she says is itll be $2 to print a label. i explain that i shouldnt have to pay for a label just to print it. says she needs to charge for the print before i send it to her by email as were looking at it on my phone. i say fine because needed to get to work. as soon as i agree to her little $2 game, she gets her scan gun to scan the exact label i was showing her on my phone. i ask her which is it scan or send by email to pay $2 for a print label. she gets caught red handed and backtracks and says force of habit and says i need to send it to her or provde qr code. i look at my label link again and the qr code was at the bottom that i didnt scroll to yet. then she says ok no $2. this women is horrible and her greed blinds her ability to actually do proper work its $2 woman, i need to get to work dont give me your hard time first thing in the morning on a monday , l . deserves 0 star but 1 is the lowest rating read more

Seunghye and Joe Kim really went above and beyond with their customer service today. I had a large framed painting with odd dimensions that I wanted to ship across the country. They both spent a while with me (probably to the chagrin of other customers, but oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) to try to figure out the best way to ship it while trying to keep costs as low as possible. They eventually MacGyvered some cardboard and bubble wrap together in a way that made me feel the painting would be secure during transit, all while keeping the shipping price (including insurance) below $40! I really couldn't have been happier. Finding a good UPS is like finding a good nail salon - it's hard, but once you find one, you won't go anywhere else. That's how I feel about this location based on my service today. Side note: There seem to be a lot of bad reviews specifically directed toward Mrs. Kim, calling her "mean" and whatnot. I promise, y'all have NOT truly met a mean Asian lady if you think Mrs. Kim is one. Just because she doesn't overly smile and kowtow to you doesn't mean she's rude. Went for printing and notary service. I chose the B&W printer as posted on the computer desk, but I got a 'Printer Status not available' pop-up. The young male worker came over, took over the computer, and printed on the color printer. No explanation why the B&W printer wasn't working, no asking if it was okay to take over the computer, no asking if it was okay to print on the color printer. Just rude. Lack of training in customer service. The owner lady who did the notary failed to explain why she needed a piece of information. Definitely showed lack of professionalism when she got irritated by her own lacking work brain and tried to make it seem like it was the customer's fault for lacking knowledge of what information they needed for their record book, as if the customer was responsible for doing their job. I figured out what she was asking for by pure observation of looking at the record book she was writing in. All she had to state was "I need this information for our record book. The form itself is fine." Otherwise, got the job done, but definitely not the location I would recommend to others and not the store I would utilize again. read more
