This review is only based on shipping packages. Today, I needed to return an Amazon item here as this was the closest location on route to work. So the process was easy. However I have used this location to ship packages for friends and family and did encounter some issues. Staff is inconsistent. Some are friendly and some aren't. When I ask what is the cheapest and fast way to ship a package I get mixed information. Sometime one staff will tell me something and then another staff will come over and tell me something else. I rarely send packages but when I do I struggle with getting the right information. I can see a lot of people use this location as there's piles of packages waiting to be sent out as well as a long line of people coming here. There's a large parking area in the front as they date the same parking at Albertsons so that's good. read more

*This review is solely based on my experience dropping off eBay shipments (already labeled and packed), picking up redirected packages, and dropping off Amazon returns.* I haven't had a bad experience doing any of the things mentioned above. I've actually been going here so often that the workers recognize me and picking up a package is a seamless process since they (now) know me by name. Customer service has been great, I haven't encountered anyone that wasn't friendly here. At times there could be a long line but it normally moves fast as the staff works quickly and efficiently. The store is fairly small so it does feel a little cramped sometimes. Parking close by can sometimes be a pain due to the neighboring businesses, but shouldn't be an issue if you're not carrying too much. This place has been perfect for my needs, and hopefully it is for you as well! read more

Poor customer service. They make it difficult to return Amazon packages, demanding it be in a box purchased at the store or already in one. The mailing instructions don't have anything noted about bringing it in mailing packages but they insist those are Amazon rules. This store is extremely expensive and has poor customer service. It's soo ridiculously expensive now to have a mailbox, and they charge $25/month for forwarding after you cancel service. It's also not possible to just fill out a change of address with the post office--they won't accept a change of address from a mailbox location. Never again. read more

Out of the few UPS stores I've been to recently for Amazon returns, I'd say that this place offers the quickest and friendliest service. It's out of the way from home, but coming off the 5 freeway after work isn't too bad. It's located in the Cypress Village shopping center, in the corner with the hair salons (across Albertsons). Parking is easy since the lot is big. In the early afternoon on a weekday, there were two staff members helping customers at the front. Luckily for me, it wasn't busy, and I was seen almost right away for my return. They also offer standard packaging/shipping services and supplies. The lady who helped me was upbeat and knew how to handle the Amazon returns, which made it a fast and smooth experience for me. I chose one of the free methods listed on Amazon, though, so I was glad I didn't need to pay any fee XD I hope the service is consistent in case I need to come back in the near future. read more

Spent over $100 to send items to work conference & package cannot be found. This store said they would follow up with me & did not. Not able or capable to give me the claim number. Customer service/call center of no help either. Items I shipped are for a presentation and trade show. This is a professional embarrassment for me. This ups store does not care about what happens to your package once you pay to have it sent. What I keep being told is "sorry", really? Sorry with no effort from the people who have but one job. Put a label on a package to the next destination, fail! I think I have established an annual tradition. I don't go to UPS often...only because I don't have a need to send packages. However, come Christmas, this specific location is my go-to. I sincerely appreciate the staff of Duane, Joseph, and Daniel. They go over and beyond to be friendly and professional in their interactions with customers. I appreciate their helpful tips and also their great skilled and kind care in packaging my products/box for the long cross-country journey to NYC. We had three antique Photos to ship back east. We first stopped at FedEX to get a quote on packing and shipping. The quote was for over $700. We then stopped at the UPS store # 2950 on Aliso Creek Rd and asked for the same quote. They quoted just under $ 400. Naturally we went with them. Price was great but the service and attention to being sure the packaging was secure and safe was wonderful to watch. The people doing the packaging spent a lot of time being sure the antique photos were secure and safe. It made us feel great knowing the hard work they put in. I believe the man we first spoke with was named Chris. He deserves a raise. Equally terrific was watching how quickly other people were served when they came in. We know not to waste our time going to the other place. UPS earned our business. read more

I didn't know this place had such bad reviews until I experienced it for myself. They have such bad customer service, and I think it roots from the management being neglectful. You rarely see a manager at this location while the Woodbury Center and Zion Market locations both always seem to have a manager behind the counter working it makes a world of a difference There are so many other UPS store options in the vicinity. I use this UPS Store solely for Amazon returns and it's always been a great experience. The staff is nice, there's (almost) never any lines and so it makes so a quick in & out drop off experience. Thought I should update my 2015 review. It's December 2023 and this is still our go-to UPS Store for our mailbox and Amazon dropoffs. Again, it can get quite crowded here at certain times but if we go at off-peak times, it's great. Easy to drop things off and easy to pick up our mail. Located in the Cypress Village shopping center right off the 5 FWY. It's a very convenient location. We often swing by Albertsons when stopping by the UPS Store. There's a Kohl's, boba shop, and Starbucks in the same plaza. Everyone has been friendly through the 9+ years since we've been doing business with this UPS Store. I like how they are now open 7 days a week now. Definitely 5 stars. read more

The item was already in its original box (not opened at all). I had to then purchase an envelope and put the item in it. They told me that I have to pay cash for it! I am leaving No Stars as we lost hundreds of dollars of gifts, our shoes and All our private information that was in our mail. We went to this UPS store (as we have done in previous years) in California to send our belongings back home after staying for the Winter. We came in on Tuesday, Feb. 25 and asked how long will these take to get to our home in suburban Chicago, IL? We were advised it would take a minimum of 5 business days. We told the employee we could not have the boxes arrive before March 3rd. We were assured that was no problem and a note was made to that. The boxes arrived outside our garage on Friday, Feb. 28 and were stolen that evening. We filed a claim and were denied reimbursement because "the boxes arrived". This manager, Dave, confirmed the note that said "cannot arrive before March 3rd" but that made no difference. UPS is irresponsible- this store reflects that 100%! This store is run by adolescents. I've been to probably around 30 UPS stores in my lifetime. This is the first one that a. Let 2 people cut in front of me because apparently they ran to their car and the cashier said it was ok to cut people and b. Wouldn't let me borrow tape to use to ship a box I purchased for them. They told me I could only bring my own tape or buy tape from them. Meanwhile they have a 3 hand tape tools behind the counter that they wouldn't let me use. Every other ups store lets me use their tape no questions asked. Amateur hour at this location. Wont be going back. Terrible unfriendly unhelpful service. Whoever manages this location should be ashamed. Update. I leave the store and 30 minutes-1hr later get a call from the cashier saying they forgot to charge me fully for the box I got. Told them I was already on the highway heading home. They asked me to give my cc info over the phone which I denied as that is not a safe business practice and they close at 7. Honestly this is their mistake they should suck it up and eat up the cost. Update #2 Daniel calls me today and leaves a voice mail while I'm at work and threatens to not ship my package (which I already paid for) if I dont come in by tomorrow. Extremely shady business practices here. Final Update: I called UPS Store Corporate Customer Service after re-listening to the voicemail Daniel left me. The whole experience didn't sit right with me. I detailed for them what happened (everything mentioned here) and they seemed shocked and concerned. While they mentioned these stores are franchises run by different management they did mention that the business practices this store did (asking for CC over the phone and threaten to intercept my package) were not up to their standards. They called the store and spoke to the associate. They, also, filed a formal compliant for me to the manager. The corporate customer service line was extremely helpful. If anyone else experiences this type of service from this store please be sure to call 1 (800) 789-4623 And it continues... Daniel called me moments later while I'm still at work and tells me their mess up still needs to be paid or they'll cancel the shipment. He, also, goes into that he isn't the cashier who messed up and that the cashier messed up because he was different then the one who gave me the box...I tell him that's fine but I want a refund for the shipment then (because they keep on threatening to intercept it and frankly I'm sick of their threats) and he tells me well they can't do that because the box has been shipped and it would take a day or two. I say ok and then he adds 'but the box still needs to be paid for'. At that point I was fed up and asked him to please never call me again and feel free to intercept the shipment and keep it if that's what he wants. Keep in mind I had told them multiple times the shipment was clothing donations. Ended up contacting the corporate customer service team again with the recent information as they told me to reach out if the calls continued. I, also, did some research, the Daniel guy is this store's assistant manager. With an assistant manager conducting horrible customer service practices like this, it's no wonder the store has such low ratings from customers. At 7pm on 10/1 . I received hopefully the final voicemail from Daniel. He apologized and said no further actions were needed. Assuming his store owner or manager finally stepped in. read more

As much as I like this location, there are experiences that really hurt the store's quality. PROS 1. Staff is pretty friendly 2. Widely available hours CONS 1. Virtual UPS Box is one of the most expensive in the area 2. Paid for service to email is whenever mail was received. Over the last few months, they failed to do so. When inquired 3x by now about why the notifications were missing, it would be corrected for a week or so and then stop again. We have to call in to check for mail. Seeing that the service is unreliable, we had inquired after 2 months to get a partial refund of the remaining contract and cancel it. No refunds allowed. But service has not been provided. I plan on asking for a refund again if this service does not stand by the contractual agreement for another month, and should that be refused, I will escalate in various ways. This is ridiculous and has turned a 4 or 5 star rating to nearly 1. read more

Although I see a lot of the previous reviews, I personally have not had any issues with this store. If anything, I would consider this store my choice UPS store to ship out items just because the other neighboring UPS stores can be quite cumbersome and attitude-y. Full disclosure, I've pretty much only come here to drop off packages for either pre-paid labels and Amazon. I've also been fortunate with packaging everything beforehand with my own supplies so I have not paid for any additional services that they provide for shipping out an unpackaged item. However, there have been some UPS locations that seem to have a lot of issue with customers just dropping off packages and requesting for a receipt. As far as I know, when a prepaid package is scanned, a receipt is automatically printed. Some locations seem to be genuinely upset when they find out I'm not purchasing any additional services, and they just ask me to leave my package on the front desk to be scanned in later. This UPS location doesn't hesitate at all with providing a receipt, which made me realize that their associates actually have some consideration with customers. I would honestly say because of the hassle free service they have been providing, I would easily return to pay for shipping services (as I actually have a package to send out to Ohio soon and it's too big to use USPS). Overall, service might be a tad slow considering how busy they may get and all the difficult customers that might hold up the line. However, my experience has been good here and I will definitely stop by to get help with shipping out a larger item. read more

Went today to get a very important government paper sent and was about to ask the girl at the front desk if she can tape the envelope for me because it wasn't sticking correctly and she didn't even let me finish my sentence and grabbed it and threw it back. Asked her again and she literally threw it to the back to another girl to tape it again. I really hope that envelope ends up in the correct place. Overall very very bad customer service from her. I made an appointment for their notary services today at 12:30pm, when I got there about 10 minutes before my appointment, they told me the person who does the notary services is not available and on break. They told me the earliest time they can do it it's 1:05pm. I showed them my appointment confirmation email for 12:30pm and they said he doesn't check the system. What is the point of making appointment if no one is going to do their job. DO NOT make appointment with this location because they do not care and value customer's time. I had an incident today with the driver in charge of picking up from that location around 5pm. I work in the area and had my car parked in a proper location under the shade. As I got out to head into albertsons the driver yelled to move my car "or else you're going to be stuck there for a couple hours" I then replied, is this spot reserved for you. Which he replied "alright" as if he was about to block me in. I mentioned I'd simply call the police. This unprofessional gentleman refused to give me his name and when I said I was going to file a complaint he just laughed. Rude disrespectful behavior should not be associated with UPS. Staff Issac is very unfriendly and unprofessional. He made my visit obviously the worst. I needed to print out a return label, so I asked the staff ISSAC and he can simply bring out a little paper the UPS store email address they have to show me, but instead he asked me to wait and never give me the email address. Another female staff finally gave me the email address and after ISSAC print out the label for me, I asked if he can tape the box for me , he said ok but instead of tape it in front of me, he start to help the next customer. I don't feel comfortable to leave the package open, so I asked him to just give me a scissors, I can tape the box close myself, he again ignored me and continued helping the next customer. I feel he is very rude and not welling to help. Also he didn't confirm if I am aware it's a $3 fee for the print out. Every UPS stores charge differently but they always inform me first. Most people are dropping packages and should be a separate person handling the UPS packages. UPS asked me to get the UPS store to print a label that sticks on top of the equipment.. Just dropped off a small rug returning to Amazon here. This white guy just told me how stupid the label is positioned so he has to squeeze it like a cm in order to scan it. Really?! I printed it out just like any label, taped it nicely to fit the contoured rug, what more do you want from you?! So rude and so unprofessional!
