Awesome customer service at this location on Chatham Ave #2480. The staff is always so friendly whenever I need time come in and take care of business. The gal at the register who assisted me is top notch in customer service and she is such a delight to deal with. I didn't get her name but she has short auburn hair. Swappa Staff/Management Are Cowards Who Lack Integrity, Is Not Objective, Has Doubled Standards, and Poor Business Practices - DO NOT USE! ZERO VALUE ! Ugh! I really have no respect for cowards. That energy is so off-putting. I loathe people who behave like that, cower behind anonymity and delusions of grandeur, and empty titles. This is exacerbated when it is done by a place of business... Swappa back in the day used to be AWESOME. I had my account for OVER 10 years(~36 sold items, ~18 buys, 5-star rating on ALL sales), with ZERO issues. That is until recently... The short: I bought an item from an "enterprise" seller. According to Swappa's own terms, certain data should be available immediately after you remit payment. There is evident contradiction, ambiguity, miscommunication, and hypocrisy in the treatment of laymen sellers and "enterprise" sellers and their FAQ section. Remember, I have plenty of experience with buying, selling, refund, PayPal, returns, fees, etcetera. *The "enterprise" seller was unable to provide information that should have been made available and/or readily accessible once payment was tendered, according to their own policies, both parties were in violation of this. As a result I opted to decline moving forward with the transaction and asked the "enterprise" seller to just cancel the order, minutes after they said they did not have the specific device information. Weird. They ultimately wanted to assess me a 10% return/restock fee for a device they never shipped out or could even provide me the requested information on and took me through an unnecessary claim with PayPal for almost a week. I reiterate this was dumb and to simply cancel the order/not accept the funds/ or I would be forced to involve PayPal. I waited exactly 24 hours and got nothing. I escalated to PayPal, Swappa deletes my account, I win my PayPal claim, I contact Swappa, no response. Trash read more

I used this store for years just to print my documents and shipping labels. As you do with any other place like FedEx and Staples, many times you send to their email what you need to print, and you pay for the photocopies as usual $0.10, Today I went to the store, same thing, I'm printing one page (it should be $0.10) and they ask me to pay them $1.10 When I asked them about the extra charge a tall dark hair boy said that their manager ordered that. I told them that this was a rip off and that I had never paid extra charges before and he answered: this is our policy now because we use computers. Well, I was not surfing on their internet or their computer. I did not use anything at all. Now I see that they are finding ways to rip people off by adding extra charges that according to them come from the manager. No receipt was offered so I had to request it. No more UPS for me, FedEx or Staples will do the job for less without hidden charges. read more

I usually bring my Amazon returns to this location. They're always friendly and happy to help. But today I stopped in and was the only customer in there. Not a single word was said to me. There were 2 employees behind the counter. I walked up and said "hello, I have 2 Amazon returns" and the lady just stared at me waiting on me to pull up the returns on my phone. After scanning both my returns, she handed me a receipt and I said "thank you" and left. Still not a single word came out of her mouth. Not sure when it became a hassle to greet a customer. But I will be seeking out different locations for my future returns. read more

I was in and out in no time. The employee came from the back as soon as she heard the bell from the door. She was very helpful and friendly. This location accepts RTS (return to sender) packages and also USPS packages to be mailed and/or returned. They have post office boxes inside this facility as well. Agreements that are made based on commitments and payments clearly aren't honored or held to standards. Inaccurate information from an undertrained staff, unwillingness to accept responsibility for errors, argumentative, and a total lack of follow through on commitments. They charge $1 PER PAGE to send a fax and she didn't care to tell me that until after I sent an entire contract. Most places charge .10 per page, so $1 is robbery! read more

I came by today to drop off a package that was a store return. The store gave me a label and I realized that it was Fedex. I called ahead to make sure they would take the box. The man on the phone said they would. I emailed the label to the store. I waited while they rebooted their system for over 10 minutes. Totally understand the technical issues. The lady came back out and said the system is shut down and second problem is that this is a fedex label. I told her I called ahead and then rather offering any solution, she turned red and yelled at her coworker. I'm very frustrated. Please take this as a training opportunity. I drove 15 minutes out of my way because I called ahead of time and trusted the information I received. If you fail your customers, you need to offer a solution. read more

I wasn't notified for 2 months that I had received packages. The way I was notified was via a phone call telling me that that if I didn't pick up the packages I would be charged a storage fee. I was there in 10 minutes to get the packages and was told - though Bobby, the owner, acknowledged that he knew who I was - that they would not give me the packages without my box key which I didn't have with me. I presented them with my driver's license and was told the same thing and then the owner told me that he owns my packages legally and that I don't understand the law. I insisted and not very nicely so. He then gave me my packages and told me he would cancel my account and would not issue me a refund. This was one of the strangest experiences I've had. Anyway, I'm going back to the UPS Store in Brookside where I had an account for years before I moved north of the river. They were polite, professional and focused on customer service. read more

Minus one star because I went to overnight some very important mail that had to be there on a Saturday morning. I spoke with the gentleman and made it clear of my intentions that this mail was very important and had to be there next day, he assured me it would be there by 10:30 a.m. . This young man shipped it next day business so my package would not get there until the following Monday which really messed up my travel plans. The 4 stars are because of how this UPS Store handled this discrepancy. When I called to make them aware of this mistake I was more than upset and they were more than understanding with me. I came in on that next Monday morning got a full refund, they apologized, I apologized for my angry phone call, everything went well. The packagesd arrived Monday morning to its destination.
