Just had the most incredible experience at this UPS. I walked in with two beat up boxes -- returns for Amazon. I needed tape and I didn't have them properly packed. Brenna, the one at the counter at the time, told me that she would be happy to not only provide tape, but also package it up for me! Love this UPS store! Been coming here for years, and always receive excellent service! Everyone, from the owner, to Cindy, to literally EVERYONE is so professional, kind, and helpful! I cannot always walk due to a disability, and when needed, the staff at this location will come to my car and get my packages for me. Walked in for a simple service. I needed one page printed out. And one page scanned. For the entire service the total came out to $6.00. I'm always coming to this UPS Store to drop off UPS packages for my business. The kid that's always there has always been polite. I think the Owner? can try to be a little more friendly. I've come in when it's her and the kid and while he will always say hi, she just glares at me. Like she's annoyed that I walked into her store. Anyways, I also like that they have the latest UPS pick-up in the area (5:30 but drivers stick around until 5:45ish). 4 stars for the polite kid and late UPS pick-up and minus 1 star for the unfriendly owner. read more

Worst customer service for a ups store. Went here last week and the guy wanted to charge a $1 for taping up a small box. I went home without shipping it. I returned today after taping up myself. The guy wanted to charge me again to tape it over my tape. I asked if it was magical tape and they got upset. I told them that if the boxes opened up its on them, the guy said no it's on you. I would avoid this place unless you like to argue and be treated like a retard. I would not give these cheap ass people my business. I am willing to drive to Fullerton next time to mail out packages. read more

I've read the other reviews, and I've never had these problems, then again i tape the sh*t out of my boxes!! Everyone that I have met at the store, has been nothing but nice to me. But the true gem there is a worker- I don't know that I should put his name out there- but he's a great guy! Like a big teddy bear and the dude is always helpful!! Went to the La Habra location. There was no wait and it was such a painless transaction! The clerk shipped it for me, unlike the post office where you have to do it all yourself. I will never give this store business again. The owner lied to me about a box I needed to shop last Christmas. He told me it was too late to ship it at the ground rate. So I paid extra to get it there in time for the holiday. My aunt shipped a box the same day at a UPS store in Whittier. In fact she shipped hers three hours later. She was able to send hers to the same city where my box was shipped, using the ground rate. Then the second time I went to this store, I wanted to buy some shipping supplies. The prices were VERY high. Out of curiosity, I went to the UPS store at Harbor and Whittier Blvd, in La Habra also. The prices there were HALF what they charge at the Imperial store. This store is a rip off. How many other people have paid extra to ship packages before a deadline, when it wasn't necessary? read more

This location just lost my business. I will be going to a different location from now on. In the past the staff has been awesome. The gal today, Brenna was really sweet and helpful. Unfortunately, her coworker Edgar? jumped in and 1)didn't listen to what I would say then 2) wouldn't respond to the questions I asked (he would answer about another topic) and then 3) started not talking to me all together. What employee just stops talking to the customer?!! Since i never got answers, I went with his 1st suggestion of packing my box inside of another box to prevent breaking the contents but was open to repacking it completely, whichever way would be cheaper. However, since he wouldn't communicate I just went with putting it into another box and probably just overpaid tremendously. I think repacking would have been cheaper and wasn't sure if his suggestion to put it in other box was just an up sell to get me to pay more and him to do less work (based on his statement in my next sentence). When I kept asking which way is cheaper he said that I said he could do whatever was EASIER for him. I told him no I asked which was cheaper and at that point he just stopped communicating so I never got an answer. I probably just paid more for his "easier" way of doing it because $52 to mail a box via ground to new York is ridiculously expensive!!!! It was 14 pounds but "billable" of 26 pounds stated on the receipt. That's a big weight difference. I'm assuming that is because of the bigger box they put my original box in. I wish Brenna had just helped me entirely. I'm confident she would have handled the entire transaction professionally and the most cost effective way for the customer. Not sure why this unhelpful employee even had to jump into her transaction. Maybe to work as a team? But it was quite the opposite experience. Not a happy customer! read more

Attempted to ship out a box via USPS & when I changed my mind (it was expensive), the lady said they couldn't reverse the charges. They can't void out a shipment?? She called, supposedly, the owner and he had to walk her through it - she's Indian & I'm sure she included some not so nice words about me! They wanted to charge $3 for them to tape a box closed- charging for a couple of strips of tape is ridiculous. As she's voiding out the charge & charging me for a box & tape, she's practically yelling at me that it costs them money to provide these things & they are not free- I didn't expect them to be free. Word of advice lady: brush up on your customer service skills & if I wasn't a customer, you wouldn't have a job. read more

I Ship 4-6 boxes per month of medical supplies. I have always gone to this store because it is the closest to my house. They were always rude, never open on time in the morning and always close early. I now make the extra drive to a fed ex store. They have THE WORST customer service. I always write fragile on my boxes but the last time I went in to ship one they REFUSED to ship it because I had written on the box. I asked why not and the owner said "I dont have to explain it to you". This is after months and months of shipping boxes with fragile written on it. I will never use this store again. read more

I went by the Ups store on Wednesday night to drop off three packages around 615pm and noticed they went home early. The door said opens at 9am and closes at 630pm. Okay so bad luck on my part...or was it!!! The next morning my wife and I ran back by the store and the doors were still locked. There were 2 other people waiting and it was past 930am. At this point I wished I had went to FedEx and got on with my day but i couldn't because the packages were cable receivers that could only be sent through UPS or so I was told. After 940am the doors finally opened. So now it's our turn and right away we are informed that we will be charged a tapping fee for a single length of tape or that we can purchase their tape and do it ourselves. Penny Pinching MoFo's!! So I had the guy tape it up and then he noticed that 2 of the 3 labels was printed too light and wouldn't scan.(both were sent from the cable company). He informed us that we had to pay for the shipping for the two packages when all he had to do was reprint out a ticket using the information on the sticker.He told us that the cable company needed to resend out a prepaid sticker. Since we both did not feel like calling the cable company and we were both running late for work we just paid the $51 for both to be sent. I know this store is independently ran and because of that Ups lost my future business. read more
