I have had a mailbox here for over 5 years, Service is usually pretty fast, but sometimes the line is pretty long depending on the time of day; The store processes over 1000 Amazon packages every day, which is pretty amazing, FYI, a smile and a kind word go a long way to getting better service. They have recently added another employee and Jennifer is very efficient and does a great job with a smile. I try to come in during the slower time periods (avoid lunch, 3PM, and 4:30-6:00PM) . Prices are reasonable and being able to handle UPS and USPS in one stop is a time saver. read more

The Manager Suzanne is very rude and a discredit to this location. I received a notification that a package had been delivered there and when I went in to pick it up, she told me he had not been logged back in and to come back in two hours. I told her I didn't have time to come back in two hours that it was a package I needed now. She told me they had 20 packages to go through - 20! And that I would just have to wait. So I did they were not that busy the package was right underneath her nose and she was so rude when five minutes later she gave me the package. I would never use this location for anything other than picking up packages. I would not use their ancillary services whatsoever! Never been treated this rudely by anyone at FedEx Office. read more

As most others have experienced at this location i too am appalled by the unprofessional service received at this location. Even the owner condones her rude employees acting unprofessional because it's done with her present. Im quite surprised UPS has not had franchise problems out of this location. There is no way they meet the bare minimum of customer service. I would love to see this store under new maangement. I have been a long-time customer at this UPS Store but have tolerated their rude attitude because I never had to deal with them directly--until recently. Unfortunately, my recent experience has been beyond frustrating. I ordered a POS system for a customer's business, and the package was supposed to be delivered to this location. However, despite FedEx tracking showing it was delivered, the UPS Store claims they never received or scanned it. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told to go to Albertsons to see if it was there--why should that be my job? When I returned to inform them that the package was not at Albertsons, the manager/owner seemed annoyed that she had to investigate the issue. She eventually called back, saying their system showed it arrived but was never scanned, and she would check with the FedEx driver. That was Friday. Come Monday, I called for an update. I was met with coarse customer service. I was informed that the owner was on vacation until Wednesday and that they could do nothing in the meantime. Instead of assisting me, the employee became defensive, repeatedly saying, "You don't know me," and then hung up on me. When I called back, another employee answered and immediately hung up after repeating the same unhelpful response. At this point, I have filed a complaint with UPS corporate and FedEx regarding the missing package. This location's lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service is shocking. If you value your time and peace of mind, avoid this UPS Store at all costs. UPS should seriously reconsider allowing this owner to operate under their brand. read more

We arrived at this UPS store because I needed to make a return to Amazon, and although the instructions said I could just drop off the packages the attendant made me buy boxes and envelopes to put the products in and have them shipped back. Maybe I just didn't understand the instructions online but regardless the way the representative was speaking to me was very condescending. I kept my composure and continued to be extra polite (my mom taught me to "killem with kindness") .... I was met with a tone full of attitude furloughed eyebrows and a scowl, did I mentioned she kept bringing her mask down below her chin? We're in the middle of a pandemic and I had to back up me and my child up every time she did that.... I'll hopefully try to avoid this location at all costs. read more

I don't understand the low ratings for this location. Every time I go in here, even during the height of holiday craziness, the employees are progressional and efficient. It is a major convenience to be able to drop off returns and ship out packages here and nothing we have sent through them has ever been lost. I stopped at another UPS store in a different city and had a frustrating experience in addition to them not receiving/scanning USPS labels and it made me appreciate this South Shore location and their offerings all the more! One thing to note is that they do not do passport photos here despite what the website says. (The employees were still nice and apologetic when communicating this with me.) read more

I read a lot of bad reviews about this place and I've been coming here for years. The reviews I read sound like they're coming from some very entitled spoiled people. Some bad reviews were even about late packages and similar issues. These people just handle the shipping part of the business and don't deal with deliveries! Regardless, maybe because I grew up in Europe and not in the states I'm used to businesses where employees don't have to kiss everybody's ass and thank them profusely for their business maybe that's why I don't have any problem with the employees here. First of all I've been coming here for YEARS Today the lady with shirt shoulder length dark hair was ABSOLUTLEY THE RUDEST PERSON I've encountered in a long time ANYWHERE. She was so cold and I even said I'm sorry your in a bad mood. She said IM NOT IN A BAD MOOD. I usually purchase the little car refreshers from here made by one of the employees so she said you know those are cash only ; which one do you want??? I said I will not be getting one afterall. Went in to mail a package to my very sick 5 year old daughter who is on vacation with my elderly mother. I was told package would be there by the close of business next day. Guess what?! It was not, won't be delivered until tomorrow (3 days later). Went to the store to give them the chance to make it right, asked for a manager, when she came out she was sucking a lollipop like she was in an 90's LL Cool J video. The she proceeds to tell me that overnight isn't guaranteed, well what did I pay $100 for? She all but called me a liar when I said no one told me overnight wasn't guaranteed and then proceeded to tell me that overnight doesn't really happen anymore since covid. Again what did I pay $100 for? Her answer was that's what it cost to ship it, and that my problem was that I used USPS. If the gentleman checking me out would have told me that it wasn't guaranteed I wouldn't be so upset and I would have figured out another way to send my very sick daughter her comfort blanket. It's UPS so there's that but I'm going to talk about the service at this location. It's usually the same workers, they're all generally nice and helpful except there's one that can be aggressive and rude. They charge you $2.00 to use the computer to print and charge you for each page so if you print out one page you're basically already paying $2 and change. Ridiculous to pay $2 for a sheet of paper. I was confused by this because there's a sign that reads 11 cents per page so when I got to the register and my total was higher than expected I asked about this and the aggressive worker was pretty rude. I've been here before with no problems sending a package but I won't be coming back again. They lost major customer service points. read more

I've used this location because of it's proximity to my home in South Shore Harbor quite a few times. That said, I think I'm going to start driving a bit further just so I don't have to trust the staff at this store with my shipments. Trust is everything when choosing and using a contract carrier. I've had good luck with UPS in the past, a rather long history of on-schedule deliveries and service on the rare occasions when things went wrong. I don't trust the people who staff this location. I experienced more rude service here than I have at any other UPS drop point I've used. And the unprofessional demeanor of the staff doesn't exactly inspire confidence that valuable items will be treated with due care. People who obviously resent their jobs and kids wearing baseball caps who look like they just rolled out bed aren't the types of people to whom you want to hand over critical shipments. I'm not going into any more detail than this, but suffice it to say that I don't trust this location to take care of business in a professional manner. Aside from that, the place sells the usual assortment of overpriced shipping materials and services. Nothing out of the ordinary, just the usual stuff you see at any other shipping place. I went here to mail out a bunch of Christmas presents. This UPS store doesn't carry UPS Express Boxes. I was told I would need to go the post office to get those boxes. They had a limited selection of overpriced boxes. Didn't really have a size which was good for my needs. Only envelopes which I felt would lead to my items being damaged. read more

I was at the UPS store on Marina Bay Dr. in League City to drop off a package. I noticed that 2 out of the 3 employees were not wearing face coverings correctly. The young man working there had his mask under his chin and one woman had hers under her nose. Our state requires everyone to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth in public spaces in counties with 20 or more positive COVID-19 cases. The county this store is located in has far more than 20 positive cases. When the young man asked to help me, I asked him to please put his mask on. He did, but then another customer made a snide comment about my request and all 3 employees snickered. This customer was also not wearing a mask appropriately- it was on his chin. The people working in this store were not following state and county requirements and were also not monitoring the customers. I am in a high risk group for Covid 19 and am very careful. I can assure you I will not be returning to this UPS store. They clearly demonstrated a lack of responsibility and were in non-compliance with the State's requirements. read more

Us US postal service. I shipped a camera and lense for repair and needed insurance. They told me that they have to pack it if it's insured for over $1k. So they unpacked my well packed package, took pictures of everything, and then repacked it all in their box and charged the packing and materials fee. Altogether $55 for that box! Also shipped a racquetball racquet that I had them box. Total cost of shipping the two boxes was $90. Ridiculous. I will use the US Postal service next time and save $60. The guy that did the packing was nice. UPS has gone nuts on cost. Not sure if this store is required to use a particular insurance company by UPS or they get to pick it, but the cost is way over the top. read more
