I needed to ship a Christmas gift to my sister and searched for a UPS Store near my office in Livermore. The UPS Store on Vasco Road popped up located only a couple miles from my office. I went to the store and Raj immediately helped me. He measured and weighed the box and shared some options to have it arrive before Christmas. 1st time here drop off a return packages, store were nice clean, Radha who helped me worked more than professional, he's awesome & friendly, I noticed forgot to removed an old mailing label on side box & can't be off without pulling the tape that sealed the box, he said to me "no worry it's ok" and he he covered it without "charging me ", reason I say that was because I had A not so great experiences been charged for just a single piece of tape to sealed my small box (due wasn't sure if I should seal or not plus i didn't bring tapes with. Not sure about other folks but I had great service here. I had a couple of Amazon returns and I was in-and-out within 5 minutes (maybe even less) on a *Saturday*, that must be some kind of record for me. I used to go to the location on First Street but didn't realize this one even existed - and it's much closer! Lots of parking, too. It seems to be a lot less busy so there's less wait time involved! Lady at the front was friendly - she scanned my codes and took both of my items. She was super quick and friendly, and I found the whole experience very positive. Other locations I wasn't so lucky but I think this one will be my new go-to. read more

I don't normally review places like this but I had a really nice experience today so thought I would share. I was returning two packages and walked in with my 4 year old daughter. The lady at the counter asked my daughter if she liked elf on the shelf and informed her that there was an elf hidden in the store. When she found it she gave her a candy cane (she did ask me first if she could). I just thought that was so sweet. Packaging on one of my returns was messed up, she told me no problem and whisked it away and took care of it. Excellent service here today, thank you! read more

This Center is very sparsely occupied, so parking is a breeze. Works for UPS drop off.... especially when the younger staff is present, friendly and receipt freely offered. Difference between night-and-day when the older couple are present.... one gets the impression they may chuck your package in the dumpster. I would also not recommend purchasing anything unless the younger employees are at the helm. I witnessed an excruciating exchange where this poor man wanted to know what the most cost effective method of shipping his item was. The older man just kept saying *what ever you want* and refused to provide information. Yikes. Things have vastly improved ... drop off is easy, receipt no issue. The staff working here are excellent, friendly, attentive to detail, and provide one of the best customer service I've ever experienced in a UPS store. I had to get some fingerprinting done and the guys here have been so patient and kind in ensuring that everything was completed accurately. I was not rushed at all! Excellent Store under NEW MANAGEMENT I had to return several large boxes to Amazon and had an issue with the seller not providing the correct mailing labels. The store agreed to hold the boxes for several days, until I could get the labels. As it turned out, the seller sent me replacement labels for Fed Ex, not UPS. The store was helpful and even applied the new labels for me. Then the owners even helped me cart the boxes back out to my vehicle, so I could take to Fed Ex. Alexis helped me at the counter and she is very nice and knowledgeable. HUGE CHANGE from the previous owners. Give this store a chance, you won't regret it. read more

Terrible Customer Service at UPS store at 1452 N Vasco Road, Livermore I had such a terrible experience at the UPS store on Vasco Road this week, I feel compelled to share it in case it might spare someone else the time, expense, and frustration. When I first walked in, the scowl on the clerk's face indicated she was annoyed at having a customer. As if I needed more proof, my first question about flat-rate shipping was met with the snide comment "This isn't the post office." I should have walked out then and there, but I used to work in sales, so I understand how sometimes having to deal with yet another person on a busy day or a bad day can be extra challenging. So I tried to be extra nice. That didn't work either, as she continued to be snippy and exasperated in her tone. I just wanted to get this errand done, so I ignored her attitude, tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, and replied only with gratitude for her help. I bundled my package (a piece of clothing) into the padded envelope she handed me and told her the address it was going to -- my daughter's home (in a large city where she has lived for the past 17 years and has had no issues receiving packages). The clerk insisted I had the zip code wrong, that the address I gave should have a different zip code according to the computer. I assured her my info was correct, even texted my daughter to confirm, which she did instantly, and the clerk still insisted I was the one with the wrong information. Then she double-checked and saw that she had typed in SE instead of NE. Ah! That explains it. Now that the address issue was sorted out she asked if I wanted her to seal the envelope, and I said "yes please." But right after she sealed it she checked the computer again and said the zip code comes up different from the one I provided, that the only way to use the zip code I provided is if she changes the street directional from NE to SE. I said the computer database must be screwy because that's not the correct directional/zip code combo and I've confirmed it with my daughter who lives there. She insisted I was the one who was wrong, treated me like I was a senile idiot, and insisted I decide between the wrong zip code or the wrong street directional. What kind of choice is that?! I told her I can't send the package to the wrong address, it makes no sense. She would NOT admit her database was or even possibly could be wrong, and would not let me hand address it. I told her I'd have to take the package elsewhere because I couldn't rationally send it to the wrong address. As I turned to go, she insisted I pay for the envelope --almost $6 -- even though it was her computer's mistake that resulted in my inability to send my package, all because I "told her to seal it." No matter that I gave her that permission after she falsely confirmed that she corrected the address. She took no responsibility in this ordeal and I had to pay for the privilege of being abused. In what world is it ok to blame a customer for your business' failures? Suffice to say, I'll never take my business to that UPS store ever again. read more

I am extremely disappointed in my experiences with this UPS Store. They are downright crooks! I was overcharged for shipping some very basic things. They charged me $15 to ship a sweater. Yes, just a sweater! The older woman demanded that a sweater be sent in a box, a padded envelope would not work, according to her. Clearly she wanted to charge me for boxes! This sweater was sent to me in a padded envelope for $6.24 just a week prior. Hmmm.... I was also charged $23 to ship a Purse/diaper bag. Yep, again.. In a box! I shipped a sweater, a diaper bag, a few baby bottles and a magazine to 4 different places, all within the US (ground shipping, nothing was expedited) and was charged $71.98 total. What a freaking joke!!! Avoid this place. They purposefully over charge on shipping and tell you lies to your face. I won't ever step foot in this establishment ever again. I will happily drive across town to the Post Office. And I recommend you do the same. read more

Yet another ONE star review to add on to the pile! Like everyone else, I wish it could be ZERO. I am one of the nicest customers in the world and would never even think about writing a complaint. Today, I changed my mind. I walk into the store asking to send a package. The woman named Lee asked "Is it ready?" I said, "Yes." and gave her the return labels. Then she actually went CRAZY at this point. She slams a piece of plastic on the table and said "Put it on the box and GET IT READY!" Of course, I did so and then gave her the plastic. This is when it gets funny. She shoots back "NO!!! YOU NEED TO PUT IT ON THE BOX!!!!" I said calmly, "I don't have any tape." "PEEL OFF THE BACK AND PUT IT ON!!!" And I try to peel it with a little trouble. She sighed, but it wasn't just a sigh, it was more like a grumble of forced air from an troll hiding under a bridge angry that he has no friends. Then she starts being a smart ass. "I CAN'T HELP THAT YOU CAN'T READ." Ooooooh. Excuse me? Really? Did you just say that to a customer? Really? Did you just say that to a stranger that you have no idea about? Wow. NEVER in my life have I been put down by ANY worker until today. I didn't even bother talking to her. I just asked, "What was your name?" Her name is Lee which I suppose is short for the name Leslee. If you like arguing and bad mouthing others, this is the place for you! Honestly, if I didn't feel so much guilt, I would have said terrible things to her to make her life even more miserable. The 60-something year old woman needs to get laid or something. Really nice people running this location. I called and asked for an appointment for Livescan, they asked me when I would like an appointment, I picked a time later in the day. I arrived and there were several people being helped, all in a courteous efficient manner. I have difficulty standing for long , and told them I was returning to my car for my cane, they quickly said let us get you a stool. During the process, they asked if I needed to take a break and sit. Really kind, really clean and tidy store. Each person was treated kindly and helped quickly. Great place. read more

I just had I drop off a Amazon return to this place. I let the guy know that I had a package with a label on it and I just needed to drop it off. I politely asked where I could put it and he said" I don't know what is it?" Really, I just told you what it was. Then the even more rude woman came out of the back and said "can I help you" with a sarcastic tone. Then grumpy number one (the old man) took my box and literally threw it on the floor. Good thing it was just a cell phone case and not a iPhone! Although I did not spend any money here I know I never will now! Stay away. It's a place you go when you need to go, generally... :: Passport photos. Worked out fine. :: Notarize some fancy piece of paper. Eh, not too long a wait or a hassle. :: Drop off a ready-to-go UPS package. Not their strength on the few occasions I've gone in. Seems though they don't make any money on these, we're a low priority. I've waited 3-5 minutes to hand over a brown box to Brown, rather than having a nifty little "packages go here" pile. Their saving grace is they're convenient to home. The peril is the office location has a daily UPS pick-up, so unless it's a crazy large package, I'd rather lug it into the train to work than deal with waiting. That's time I could be walking down to Rite-Aid for a cylindrically shaped scoop of ice cream for heaven's sake. read more

Haven't had good service lately for the past few months. Came in with two packages that were suppose to be one. We weren't aware so we bought tape to combine the two boxes together We overheard the manager tell his other younger employee, I'm assuming his son lol, say "Make sure THEY do it." We we're already gonna do it ourselves, lol. No big deal but just weird? Lol, we're clear with what we heard so it'll be funny if they reply to this saying otherwise. Also the lady with the strong accent and red hair is alwaysssss rude with a bad attitude, but she's always been like this for a year now so we stopped caring and stopped talking to her lol. The other younger guy with blonde hair is very nice though, same with Agnes of course. I only come here to see Agnes or the other dude. She's carrying the entire store on her back. If Agnes isn't working, I prefer to come back another day.. but we might as well look for a new UPS spot ‍ read more

I am giving this store two stars. The first star is because it's conveniently located near my house and the second is for the young girl that works there. She is the only friendly person who works there. The two elderly people are very rude. I have been treated very rudely on several occasions. Today was the last straw. I went to drop off a package and said "hello" when I walked in and I was greeted with a very rude "what did you say?!" Apparently customer service is not a priority and neither is common courtesy. Even though this store is so close to my house I will no longer be doing any of my business there. I will drive to the store by Safeway on First Street where they are always very nice and efficient.
