Great customer service. Came here with some UPS return labels and Amazon returns and they were super helpful and friendly.

I have great experiences coming here. The staff are attentive, everything seems clean, and my packages always get where they need to be on time. They have a good assortment of envelopes, festive cards and packaging material, and the prices seem fair. I think they even sell keys there. Parking is ok, but limited. Usually there aren't more than 5 customers at a time so you find parking nearby on 2nd Street or in the back of the store within walking distances. The ground shipping cutoff time was 5:30PM last time I went on a weekday. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this location last week and feel like it must be shared to avoid the same thing happening to someone else. I had an appointment to get something notarized and arrived on time. The woman at the desk informed me that their notary had just left (this was at 10 am by the way) and wouldn't be coming back. I asked why that was the case as I had an appointment. She said she would have to ask her coworker. The other employee told me that the appointment system doesn't usually line up to when their notary is there, so he just calls the customers the morning of and cancels their appointments. I got the sense that the notary sets her own hours and that this is a regular occurrence (even though the notary services hours are clearly listed on the website, and the system allowed me to make an appointment). He said he didn't see my appointment pop up (I had made it a week in advance) or he would have called me that morning to cancel. I asked what I am supposed to do to get my form notarized and he said "just try calling before you want to come and see if she's here". This system must be addressed. If someone is getting a document notarized, it means they have an important, legally-binding, often time-sensitive matter to attend to. I am shocked that the store would be so cavalier with regard to their notary services. Bottom line, if you need something notarized, don't rely on this location. I ended up going to my bank, they were helpful and efficient and did not charge me for the service. There are also a number of independent notaries who deserve your business (even some mobile notaries that can come to you!) There are plenty of other options out there that will allow you to complete your documents on time without the headache. read more

UPS BYOT - Attention Customers: BRING YOUR OWN TAPE Let me first say that up until April 2018, I have had positive experiences at this location. But, after telling a few people about this incident, they prompted me to post this. And no one I spoke to had to pay for a piece of tape across their box. I hope this was an isolated poor customer service experience, compounded by an ignorant employee. If you are a manager at this location, please let me know if this is a new policy, to charge for a strip of tape, because I think Amazon and all customers should be informed. Here is the story... So I was making a FREE return, as was one of the conditions of my purchase. Nothing unusual, many of us make purchases that includes FREE returns. what was unusual was the demand for money to tape my box at the local UPS store. I was told to pay or buy tape from the store. Unusual? Absolutely! I have returned before and was met with great customer service and they gladly taped my box. This time was different as I was met with an employee who told me that UPS makes no money from Amazon's FREE returns. I am not one to believe anything without facts, and I don't believe anything is truly for FREE. I did the research and that fun fact was Not TRUE . I now think of her as an ignorant, uniformed worker who should read more. UPS' contract with Amazon is close to a BILLION dollars. Interestingly enough, I had dropped off a package, also a free return, at a UPS in San Pedro the day before and not only was the customer service great, but they taped my box and reprinted my label, because my label had been slightly mangled. So, I am hoping this is a ONE time incident. And, someone speaks to the poorly informed, not to mention unprofessional employee and shares some of their company's knowledge. Wowowowow I am so impressed with the customer service here at this location. I used to live right in Belmont Shores on Naples Island--it was such a beautiful and glorious place to live. I visited this UPS store maybe 2-3 times while I lived there and it was always clean--that whole "just vacuumed" kind of clean! Anyway, long story short I moved back to NorCal where I'm originally from. I just recently ordered something on Amazon, and for some weirdo reason, the shipper used UPS and it automatically sent the package to my old address in Belmont Shore....strange. UPS is great at email notifications so I was notified that my package was sent to the 2nd street UPS. I called them early this afternoon and a nice man named Spiro answered the phone. I told him my situation, and even though today's delivery hadn't even been sorted yet, he went to look for the package. After verifying that it was indeed me on the phone looking for my package, he gave me some options. He could reject it and send it back to the seller and I'd have to repurchase, or he could ship it via UPS, or he could put regular USPS postage on it. I opted for the later. He took my new address and credit card information (and assured me my info went right into the computer, wasn't saved or written down). Within 5 minutes my package was settled and ready to be on its way to me in 2-3 days. I am amazed at how little effort it took! Usually shipping disputes like this ruin my whole day, but this guy was so friendly, polite, and professional. Someone give this man a raise! Also, LOL for all the people trippin' over the one dollar of tape. That is common here in the bay area...not everything can be free, people! I'm pretty sure that the employees aren't gleefully cackling in the back for having to charge you that dollar. Anyway, UPS is already expensive as it is but this location has great customer service. I am very happy my package accidentally went there because talking to Spiro actually brightened my day! read more

Came here since I don't have a fax machine at home. Service is pretty good. But if you're using the fax service verify the phone number of the fax number before leaving the building. They attached the wrong confirmation to my documents and when I reviewed my documents I freaked out because it looked like it was faxed to the wrong phone number/persons. I had to go back to the UPS store to confirm where they send it. And they had given me the wrong confirmation sheet. No apologies for the error. Seems like it happens a lot since they had a cubbie for lost/missing fax documents. Thankfully the documents went to the correct phone number. But it was pretty scary to think that my information was in the wrong hands. Using caution when faxing next time. I might think twice before returning since the Shore Business Center is down the street and can handle sending fax documents. read more

Very well staffed and friendly people, but they will nickel and dime you for minor things. I recently mailed a package back and they charged me $1 to put one piece of tape on the box. As a customer with LOTS of mailing options, that type of thing will cause me to move to my business somewhere else. This UPS drop off location just opened this week- I'm happy to have one so close to me. Just went in today for the first time to ship a package, Customer service was great, and they went over and beyond & taped up my package for me to make sure it was safe when shipping it. With all the services and supplies you need to exemplary follow up, this store is by far the best example of a mailbox-and -more store. They truly go above and beyond. I have found this UPS store to be above and beyond! They are friendly and remember you when you come into the store. I have used UPS stores in several different cities and states, and this one is above and beyond all the rest. It has a family run feeling, and a couple of years ago after an accident where I had two broken wrists each time I entered the store they would immediately grab my mail for me without me even asking and were very helpful and offered me assistance. The UPS store is so unhelpful I've wasted so much of my time walking over there in the hot sun maken sure calling them before shipping a package back and they never tell me they're going to charge me to print a label or to tape up a Box they are ridiculously cheap they never told me they would charge me 2.50$ to print a pathetic peice of paper a label on the phone make me walk all the way there then tell me it's 250 last minute or tell me I need to buy my own tape it's like you can't spare a peice of tape unbelievable read more

This is the friendliest UPS store I've been to. During Christmas last year I needed to print 200 Christmas cards and Eleni was so patient and made them look beautiful! In the front near the cash register they have the cutest cards that are from a local artist. I buy one every time I'm there. They also give my dog treats every time we spot by and are always welcoming to him being there :) read more

VERY EXPENSIVE$$$$$ Maybe I went in at a bad time (although I was the only customer) the clerk had a problem with getting the address correct. I was given a price to deliver the item, then an additional $25 dollars for a box and bubble wrap. I was next door, ordered my copies online (uploaded the document and selected options like type of paper binding etc) and walked over to pick them up and they were ready when I walked in. Came here with four small boxes and an envelope to mail with my labels printed. Asked to use their tape to seal the tops of the boxes, maybe 2ft of tape total, guy tells me it will be $1 per box so $5. For two feet of tape. Ridiculous. Customer service is not a game! Instead of charging for every little thing, consider your customers and act like you care. I get there are fees and services cost money but I've been to this store on several occasions and they are not helpful and it's consistently bad every time. Other stores are so kind, friendly, and helpful - it's a rude awakening to go to this location. They charge to tape up your box when dropping off a return. The UPS stores are franchised, so I get this isn't the same at each location, but it's a hassle. Today I came with my tape gun, I just needed some extra padding. They told me they could do it for a $1. I was a bit confused at that. Ok - you don't have it to spare, that's fine. I was ready to tape up my own box, I just needed a little help. But everyone seemed more hung up on charging me than helping. I asked to speak to the manager. A woman behind me then said she was the owner and proceeded to explain that she could cut down the box and I wouldn't need any padding - but they would charge. When she realized that I came with my own tape, she offered to cut the box down for free. Gee thanks! I walked out. Why? Because I'm so tired of people that would rather argue than help. The employees here are nice, but I have been here twice now to print a single page document. The first time I printed from my email and they charged me $2 just to logon for 30 seconds. Today I went with a USB drive so that I could pay just the 12 cent printing fee... and they charged me $1.50 for a "Digital File Open" fee. Ridiculous. Printing a sheet of paper and being charged $1.62 is really frustrating. read more
