Well it started off a normal Sunday my wife grabbed my son and wanted to show him how to return a package so he can become a bit more self reliant. They walked in the store and there were to workers male and female they behind 1 person in the line with the female. There was a guy being assisted with the male worker and he asked if he could leave the tape he bought for other customers to use since he didn't need to keep it. The male worker said of course and so he left it on the counter. The female assisted the other customer in front and as he was leaving he asked the young lady behind the counter how to say good bye in her native language and she looked at him like he was crazy and gave him the mean mug look!!! He turned around and left and my wife stepped up with my son placing the package on the counter. The package wasnt tapped closed so that the store could verify the item before accepting. The female looked in the box and then complained to my wife it wasnt taped shut!! My wife asked if she could have the tape the gentlemen left behind for others to use so she could tape rhe box, and she said "No" My wife said what do you mean no that isn't your tape its for everyone to use.. The lady said you need to buy your own tape and before my wife was able to speak the male behind the counter turned around and grabbed the tape abd handed it to my wife saying that of course she can use the tape why would she buy a new one!!! My wife taped the box all while the female had an attitude.... For a place that is customer service driven the female needs some retraining or maybe find a different line of work. The 1 star rating is about the females attitude to the customers!!! The male who jumped in to assist was definitely 5 Stars and deserves to work with someone that shares his care for the customer. read more

I must come to this location once a week and everytime time I do, I'm assisted by Edgar. All the guys here are great, but Edgar in particular is super nice and super helpful. He's always really patient and give me extra tape when needed. I hope upper management sees this review and notices how caring and attentive Edgar is because he deserves a raise! read more

I'm not sure if this is the norm now... I brought an Amazon return item to this UPS location on Jan 9th. Checked my Amazon account today Jan 24th and the item still had not posted as a return/ refund. Usually Whole Foods comes up as a return location, but this time did not. Someone else in line said she usually returns at WF too. So not sure why it was different. The entire area behind counter and along wall at Glendale entrance was all packages apparently for Amazon. The line moved quickly and despite the chaos the employee was totally nice. Fyi- no public wifi here they sent the lady in line behind me to Dunkin Donuts so she could access her return code. read more

The UPS store is garbage. They charge $30 to RECEIVE AN EMAIL. Just to receive the email if you need to email them a label to print they charge $3 just to receive an email. Bringing something in and you have your own box? They charge $18.99 TO TAPE YOUR BOX SHUT. they told me if I wanted them to tape my box shut it would be $18.99 in addition to the $3 to print my label even though I was already buying a box and shipping costs. You can purchase an entire roll of tape right there for half the price they charge you to put a piece of tape on a box. Always understaffed (not the employees fault but it is UPS's fault) read more

Only one employee who is incredibly slow and nonchalant about the customers who are waiting. I could work faster if I was processing shipments with my feet. I've been here twice and this is the last time. I've been waiting for over 40m outside while he deals with one customer... The second worker arrived at 5pm and also slow as hell. Both workers scheduled at 5pm on Wednesdays are extremely frustrating with clear negligence for customer service. I was ignored and met with rudeness when mentioning the growing line. I initially took down my bad review hoping to give these idiots another chance. The worst was when UPS broke my cake plate that I spent 12 hours painting for my mother. They were supposed to do the work for my claim and they didn't. Then my claim was denied. I called the corporate office and they fixed it. But today was the capper. I had a package to return to Amazon and they were supposed to print the label and put it in a box. They wouldn't put in a box and they charged me over three dollars for an envelope. Worst experience ever. I needed to overnight an important business document and paid for "guaranteed overnight service to arrive by 10:30 am". It's two days later and even though my documents only had to travel 15 miles, they still haven't arrived. When I called UPS to request a refund I got the runaround and was told to call the store. When I called the store they told me no one was getting any refunds because of the "current situation". I asked why I was told that my package would arrive by 10:30 am the next day and the clerk told me no one would have told me that. I then asked why I would have paid $30.00 to ship something overnight if it wasn't going to get there? He told me he didn't know why I would do that. I could have walked this package to it's destination. I was a frequent customer of this location but I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

2 stars are intended for the two young hispanic associates in the store (they look twins but theyre not), the rest of the crew they just ruin the store for the owner. Christina and Mo are not really the best representative for the store. They don't have customer service, they do the job but thats all they can offer for the customers. On a "good day" they have customer service but selective, mostly only to Caucasian. Christina needs to change her perspective in retail because Ive seen her in the back she has a totally different personality than what she's showing in front the customers, it seems like customers are burden and wasting her time than to hang out at the back and enjoy their music. Currently since its the busy season for shipping industry they're probably overwhelmed, I get that, but customer service is still supposed to be there, not like Starbucks level but at least acknowledge is the least they can do. I dropped off an Amazon return that needed a QR code scanned. The employee scanned my code, but then didn't scan the barcodes on any of the items (as I've seen literally every other store do). He shoved everything in to one box and taped it shut. I asked if he needed to scan each barcode, and he said it was fine. It was not. This resulted in none of my returns being recognized by Amazon. I had to call Amazon to explain the situation. They processed my returns manually. However, all of this could have been avoided by the employee following the proper protocol. read more

This place is horrible! I pay $27 to UPS for next day air shipping and I go here to get an envelope to ship and the guy wants to charge me for an envelope. I tell him I ship all the time and they never charge for next day air envelopes and then he goes "ok but we have to charge you for taping" Seriously! You mean the prepackaged glue strip that is including on every UPS overnight envelope, You're going to charge me to peel it off and seal it? C'mon haha I never had an issue like this with UPS anywhere. Clearly this location is ripping people off. I'm really confused as to why this UPS store (3108 Glendale Blvd location) only has 2 stars. I have been a customer of this location for the past 2 years and have NEVER had a negative experience. Will and his staff are awesome! They're always there to help with whatever I need. The staff, Marcos, Andre, and Moe are great. I have gotten nothing but respect from all. My kids look forward to going with me and we frequent sometime 2-3 times a week. I have even joked with Andre to not answer me with "ma'am". I told him it makes me feel old, but I also told him that I was impressed by his politeness because you rarely hear the words, "ma'am" or "sir" from many people these days. To the person who wrote the negative review about Andre and Moe feels a bit exaggerated to me. I come in the store with my kids all the time and they are always friendly with them. Music is played when we come in, but it's not "blaring", nor has it ever been offensive (believe me, if it were offensive, I would have noticed and so would my oldest son). I came in to print a return slip for an eBay item, I was directed to the self serve computer, which costs $2.99 to use and charges by the minute for every minute after. I went to download the PDF and their adobe started updating while I was logged in. The guy who worked there couldn't figure it out, and after 10 minutes said I couldn't get a refund, and couldn't give me any contact info for the manager other than an email. The whole thing ended up costing $20 because they're running windows 95 or something. I'll be following up with UPS to get my money back, but Jesus Christ, don't go here. read more

Horrible customer service. The guy was very rude and was on his cell phone while we were waiting to be attended. When he finally attended us, he said he couldn't accept the package (it was a return) because we weren't the person sending it and that it was illegal to do so. If that's true, I completely understand but it was the way he said it and his overall negative attitude was very off-putting.
