Edit: Just picked up my package today, over a week past when I was supposed to get it for a 50th birthday celebration. This was a gift of Blantons bourbon (which is hard to find and I had to special order) with two engraved Glencairn glasses, as well as the bourbon bottle engraved. UPS found a way to break one of the engraved glasses . I am absolutely over this entire experience. And bc of the foul mood I was already in walking into the store, I had no issue matching the shit energy of the person there who gave me my package. I hate even saying that but I've just had it. UPS: you failed miserably in this entire process. Two chances I gave to correct the issue and both times with no customer service. This is a formal grievance against UPS and the complete failure of customer service associated with the company, including the inconvenience of this particular location. I paid 2 day air shipping for an item I needed prior to the weekend. Order was processed and sent out on Tuesday for an arrival of Thursday. The package required a signature so I needed someone to be home. Time frame given was 12:30 - 4:30. During the day Thursday, I get a notification that my package was delayed and would be delivered Friday. I did not have someone to be at home for that day so I rerouted (and paid an additional $6 on top of the $48 expedited shipping charges) to a local access point so I could get my package Saturday morning. I called UPS and found out that the local access point wouldn't receive the package until Tuesday! I asked for a Supervisor and he did not assist me and tried to blame the company shipping the item. So, nothing was done to resolve my issue of needing the package by the weekend for an event. I work in Johns Creek but live close to this access point so I figured I'd leave work early to get here and pick up my package (deadline for it is 6/4). I got here at 6:02PM, rushing, and they were closed. So this is ANOTHER DAY of waiting to get a package and clearly can't get access to bc I can't make it here within an hour from leaving work, and this location does not stay open a minute past their closing time. Overall, epic fail. It is insanely rare I write a bad review but even with the customer service being nice, there was still no resolution other than "you'll have to get the package on Sunday". I have not been this pissed off in a very long time. There should've been a refund and an effort to get the package to me in the time frame I requested. And as I sit here in front of this access point writing this review and on the phone with UPS filing a complaint, I have seen 5 other people walk up and realize they were closed. I just left the store - the young lady that waited on me was extremely rude and condescending. I wished I had looked at her name tag so the owner (who I think I saw in the store) would be aware. She greeted me so abruptly and condescendingly I almost walked out and went to FedEx. I thanked her and she didn't even acknowledge me. This young woman had an extremely poor attitude and what seemed to be contempt for her job and customers- very poor reflection on the business. read more

Great location, absolutely terrible service. I worked with a guy named Mitul Patel and he was the rudest person I have ever interacted with. He was extremely condescending as I was trying to do an Amazon return. I had one QR code that included 2 boxes (it clearly stated quantity two) and he told me that I didn't do my job and pack them together because he only gets one label from the QR code. I showed him it said quantity 2 under the QR code and he then told me that I didn't package them in their original box and I told him that I had received them in two boxes because I had ordered two of the same product. He then rudely told me that I should find Amazon's customer service number in the app and that he does this everyday so I should just call them and have them send me another label as that is what he tells everyone to do. I told him about how Amazon is not picking up or calling back and their customer service is being redone (according to the message I heard when I requested a cal back from Amazon and also when I found a random number on Google for Amazon). He told me again that I was wrong and made me feel stupid and so I asked him if he does this everyday then he should be able to provide me with their customer service number. He checked their sheet of numbers, and there was no Amazon customer service number. He then asked his coworker, and once again had no Amazon customer service number. He then looked it up on his phone and guess what?! No Amazon customer service number!!!! He told me that Amazon has just probably dropped the ball yet again and that I can pay them out of pocket to ship these returns to Amazon. He could have told me all of this information kindly (as none of this is his fault, it's Amazon's), but instead he chose to be a disrespectful and condescending know-it-all (even though he didn't know much at all). UPS should really educate their employees on customer service and also about how to properly handle Amazon returns. If they're going to offer this service then it doesn't make sense for the employees to not be up to date on Amazon's rules and regulations. Nor should they be trying to convince me that what are clearly two packages are actually one or that I have to pay out of my own pocket for them. This could have all been a smoother transaction if Mitul was just a nicer person. read more

I had this UPS store box, package and ship an antique music cabinet to my home in Colorado. It arrived damaged, appearing to have been dropped from a distance, possibly falling off a conveyer belt. One corner was cracked and the integrity of the cabinet was in disrepair. This is an heirloom that was important to me to have repaired, so I reached out to Charlene (Charlie) in Marietta, who was very patient and helpful in my obtaining a generous claim amount. One employee wearing a mask, one unmasked. A customer asked the unmasked employee to mask for her, he said he didn't have a mask. Slow lines that became split by who was masked and who was not. We have been scammed! We have a UPS account and we have routinely dropped packages off at this location rather than having a regular UPS pickup. We just discovered that this location has been routinely, adding on charges to our shipments by repackaging our shipments, adding an additional pound to the weight, or making address changes. Why we find this to be a scam is that we use the same UPS system to identify the addresses for our shipment, so how could the local dropout center decide that the UPS generated address is wrong? Also, since the people in the store know us to drop off regular shipments, why didn't anyone mention to us that they were making changes to our drop offs? PROFIT MARGINS! Each minor change to a shipment, i.e., address change, weight change, etc., allowed the store to directly bill our UPS account # without ever notifying us of what they were doing. THE BEST SHIPPING in EAST COBB! This location has been my favorite shipping spot since 2007. Since I cannot bear the USPS, I depend on Jim and the other guys for all my shipping needs. Jim is my favorite as he is ALWAYS courteous, and helpful in assisting me in my options. At least once a month, I use this location's services to ship a prepaid package. They treat me as a valuable client whether they profit or not. That is what I consider good business!! We've shopped at this delightful UPS Store for years and have never had the first problem, I love these guys and I love their service!! I've recommended them plenty of times and haven't heard of the first hassle with this fine store. They're professional, always thorough, always courteous, and obviously well managed. Go waaay outa the way to please. I've had them tell me to ship another carrier to save postage. Who does that? Other UPS stores in the area offer similar services but none that I'm aware of have a handy UPS computer hook up where you can enter addresses or get them out of your UPS online account, print up your own labels, correct them and take the label and package to the counter. Always a biiiig time saver. People make businesses and this UPS Store is a definite hit, people. read more

This is the only UPS Store that I go to. Chelsea is my 'go-to' person. The one time I went there and she was off that day I considered leaving and coming back the next day, but my package had to go out that day so I stayed and shipped with someone else. I always ask for Chelsea on the phone if I have a question and I will wait for her if she's busy at the store waiting on customers, even though someone else has offered to help me. She is very helpful, very sweet and very accommodating and 'we'.......her and I........have been doing business together for almost 3 years. I hope she doesn't leave her job at this location because I will just have to follow her wherever she goes. She's goes above and beyond for all of her customers, as I'm watching her serve others as I wait in line for her. Excellent experience at this location as always!! read more

My wife went to drop off some boxes on a Saturday for UPS to process, plus we had two Comcast boxes that were already processed. On Sunday she realized that she left something that was not supposed to be in the Comcast box, but I said I didn't know which one of the two, so I call the manager first thing Monday morning and tell him the situation. The manager said that he would try to find those boxes since UPS Ground has not picked up yet and he told me they pick up at 7:00. I ask them if he could put these boxes aside so that I could take out the item out of the box around 5:30. He said he would try to find them and said to call at 12:00 to check on the status. I tried to give him the two tracking #s to better find the boxes but he didn't want them. I apologized for the inconvenience and I was really appreciated this effort at the time. I call at 12:30 and I get another worker. I ask for the manager but he said he just stepped out. I told him the situation and it seemed like news to him. He said he would look for them and set the boxes to the side until I arrived. I give him my cell phone # and the tracking numbers. I arrive at the store at 5:30 and the worker I talked to at lunch only has one box to the side. Of course it was not the right box which is why I asked them to pull both of them. He said that they did not understand my request (All I asked was to pull two boxes to the side to get my personal item out and I gave them my phone number). I asked where the other box and he said the UPS driver picked up already and that I should call Comcast (I was told it was 7:00). The only problem, which I find out later, is that Comcast takes what they need and junk whatever else is in the boxes they receive. I will never go to this store again plus I will probably never go to another UPS store. I think since I wasn't paying money for this service it didn't matter to them and they took no real effort to help a person in a bind. read more
