I was quoted $85 to pick up an auction item from Skinner Bonhams. When it was ready for shipping, they asked for $160. They eventually settled for $147. The item was nicely packaged, but I had the impression they might have gotten my business with a low ball offer, intending to increase the shipping price once the item was packaged. Fantastic, expert service and packing!! I purchased an item from an auction house near this store. They professionally answered all my questions, went to the auction house, picked up my item, packed it in the most expert fashion and sent it to me in New York. It was a work of art and they knew exactly how to take care of it. We had many back and forth e-mail communications - they always answered quickly and with correct and useful information. I have been to this location on a couple occasions to drop off packages to be shipped. Usually its what you would expect from a UPS store. It would be nice though if they opened on time. I drove down there before work and tried to drop off a package at 8AM when they open but waited 10 minutes and still no one so I had to head to work. Will have to go to a different location on lunch break I guess. read more

Normally good as you would expect from UPS Store. But in these times the staff are not wearing masks. I had to turn around and walk out. It makes me wonder if they are cleaning high touch points frequently or not. The store should provide and require staff to wear PPE. read more

In August, 2018, I dropped off artwork I had made for packing and shipping by the Marlborough UPS Store. Instead of this piece arriving at the art gallery for an exhibition, the gallery director got Comcast equipment. The UPS Store mixed up labels and so my artwork went to a Comcast warehouse in NJ. The artwork was never found. Although the UPS owners admitted the error, they made no contact with me to attempt to locate my piece. It's gone forever. My advise: don't go to this UPS Store if you are shipping something valuable or important. read more

I live in California and have used this UPS Store multiple times to pickup and pack fragile antique clocks and American porcelains that I purchased through Skinner Auctions. They are great. I just purchased 10 pieces of porcelain. Each piece was expertly packed and all the items securely packed together. They arrived in perfect condition. I know I can trust this UPS Store with delicate cross country shipments. The staff is friendly and courteous. A pleasure to do business with. Do not use for international shipping. Personnel are incompetent with respect to sending anything outside the U.S. Package to Canada delayed by 7 days because the UPS pack/ship employee did not get the proper paper work completed for customs and fees. UPS could not help over the weekend - really no one works to expedite delivery or problems at ups unless it is M-f. I should have used FedEx. read more

I was here this morning to bring a package that needed to be returned. The guy at the counter did not even look up at me when I was speaking to him. He told me to just leave the package on the counter. He did not greet me when I walked into the store, he did not look up when I spoke to him, he did not move an inch from where he was standing reading something. It was as is if I was not even there. I have been in the store a few times in the past and have gotten slightly friendlier treatment but not much more. I really don't understand the attitude aren't they supposed to be there to help the customers not drive them away? read more

Under new ownership! Great, friendly customer service. I was shipping a box to CA, told them the inside box is much smaller than the outside. Initially it was supposed to be $22 shipping, they suggest to "shrink" the outside box size, so they cut the box, and customized it to be smaller and the new shipping cost was $12. They saved me an extra $10 which would have been wasted. Throughout the transaction we were joking, talking football etc.. Real nice experience! Give them a shot! read more
