Avoid printing here, mailing or sending via UPS is fine. I used to use this location a few times per month but the past 1.5 years, I avoid it when possible. Their employees fluctuate and often aren't trained well. A few month ago their printer kept jamming when I was trying to print a 60 page job. The employee went to get someone to assist, the man told me to go somewhere else because it couldn't be fixed. Today I sent a print job at 9:15 AM requesting a quote. 5 hours later I phoned to check if they received it and get that pricing quote. A female answered but a male was in the background telling her what to say. (English was a struggle with both but the female was being very patient.) Initially, he told her that there was no email. While I was verifying the email I sent it to, I heard him say they did have it but it wasn't ready yet. I clarified that I was looking for a quote first. Explained the details of my email, pricing on 65 lb card stock and considering adding cutting to the job. The female was struggling relaying this and told them man I was requesting to speak to him. He said put the call on hold. I hung up after 5 mins. 45 mins later I nice male phoned me back to tell me there was no such thing as 65 lb card stock. 65 lb is Very common paper. Very disappointed. They recently started taking USPS orders too.The crew actually are not trained professionals as they showcase. One of my USPS order was returned back due to incomplete paper work. I took it back to the UPS center, they resent it back under the same labeling. I pointed it out and they claimed that's the process. The tracking still shows delivery that was returned initially. When I reached out to them, they said it could be the USPS problem and that's why they insists to take UPS with additonal charge so they will 'help' with tracking the item. They have no idea about the whole eco system. read more

Went here right before closing time (because that's our fav right??) but also because I'm a working citizen and it's my only option distance wise. Could totally tell the associate's weren't in a rush to help but instead get closing duties done. Christian was the exemplary example beyond all this. From the time the customer in front of me was finishing up looking for cash he was happy to assist me and ensure I got the correct box size and didn't over pay. He helped me wrap it as well!! Completely turning around this trip I told him I'd write a good review and his manager (Rachel) who had been ignoring everyone and counting the register suddenly wanted to assist and made sure to share her card. I give this store a 0, I'm a mobile mechanic who relies on ordering parts and getting them shipped to my house for my customers, this is the few times this location has changed my delivery address to pick up from the store because they "tried to drop it off" the camera footage from my house says otherwise plus the people who were home at the time could verify no they did not try to deliver at all. As a mechanic we are messy people and leave stuff everywhere so when I tried to get my package from the store I was stopped by the "ID policy" I get they need ID but when I have proper shipping information, tracking numbers, Order receipt, and the ups app that shows I need to pick my order up, they would not let me. They then start being rude and asking questions like "why are you driving without an ID" which is none of their business. I understand policy's and respect them but this was just outrageous. The parts were for a out of state customer from Florida that was paying me $1500 for the parts I ordered to have me install them. I told my customer what happened and he passed on my offer to work on his car which means I lost a customer plus $1500. I have bills to pay and a family to feed y'all need to change policy's quick I've never been held up like this because of a package delivery facility worst ups in the area professionally, work ethically, and understanding of the customers interests. I am basing this review off of my other visits to other ups stores. This one is terrible. Majority of other ups stores are so friendly and helpful and DO NOT CHARGE TO PRINT A LABEL. This ups store is closer to me but when I called to ask a question the guy put me on hold, and then hung up on me while I was on hold. Tried to call back and they let it go to voicemail. I called the location in Sachse, no hold and they answered my question quickly and NICELY! Don't bother with this one, just go to the one in Sachse. read more

Horrible Air Freshener stink. The smell in this store is so strong I get sick every time I go in. It's like walking into a perfume shop. Even with masks on I start coughing and cannot breathe. I super allergic. Sadly it is the closest store so sometimes I still have to go there. Even worse, the UPS trucks delivering my packages have the same smell in them. I order baby clothes and other things and the horrible air freshener smell fills my house when I bring in the package. I have to wash any new clothes that get delivered by UPS like 5 times. It seriously ruins my items. I wish there was a way to get packages from a different location. read more

I go here to drop off packages for work on my way home, I have everything labeled and ready to go. Today I get there, stand in line, then walks in another customer who jumps in front of everyone and the guy at the counter let her. I said actually I was next in line, he said well she forgot her wallet and had to leave and come back. I said so she goes to the back of the line. I come prepared, I do not expect special treatment but if you leave you leave and when you come back you get back in line. Sorry if that customer was not prepared, that's not my problem: then what I assume to have been the manager says "it's okay, it's okay" no, no it's not okay. If I could give 0 stars I would. We used this store to ship a box with MY label. They printed out their incorrect label with a totally different name and address. The package was delivered to the wrong person - obviously. They said they were not responsible. They would not refund us for their incompetence. They were rude and uncaring and walked away. I have posted the pictures of the two different labels on FaceBook and on the Moms of Murphy site. I will continually let everyone I know how poorly they run their business. At least the US Post Office uses my correct label and they can read. read more

I had to go out of my way to this UPS store because the other one had wrong gps directions. They acknowledged me when I came in and they helped me significantly. I had a drivers ed request I had to make for a ticket and there were many loops to make. I did half of that at post office and they helped me with other half. They didn't pause when I accidentally signed the wrong thing on the certification slip, and helped me tape the envelope that wasn't working correctly. I won't be back here again because they're out of the way, but I recommend them. They tried to help another lady who also was having trouble with gps related to a completely different destination (guitar lessons for her son) and they went out of the way to help. This store has given us the run around for two months on a damaged shipment claim. We've tried to escalate with UPS directly but they push us back to the store. Everyone points fingers and requests repair estimates etc. I don't have the item! Your adjusters should have picked it up when they were there to inspect the damage! The UPS Store guarantee is as good as the one from the movie Tommie Boy - google Tommy boy guarantee Do not ship anything of value and expect their guarantee (even when you declare a high value and pay the extra fees) to reimburse you for your loss. I am very disappointed with the way this store handled this situation. I was there on Saturday to drop off some packages and there was lady NOT wearing a mask. Clearly, our country, our state is in the middle of a pandemic and she should have been wearing a mask. There is a sign that says "masks are required" in the store, yet NO employee asks her to wear a mask. She is putting everyone's life at risk. I hope you all know that if she has the virus, she is still spreading it by not wearing a mask. Even if we are wearing a mask, we still have a 70% chance of getting it. I would like a call back, as I left a message for the store. All of the employees need to make sure their customer wears a mask. Period. When I showed the female attendant my info notice she immediately told me that my package had not been delivered yet & that I would have to come back tomorrow. Getting overcharged by $20 extra for copies is terrible. Being put in the position of arguing with the store owner/manager about it is even worse. Being forced to come to the store two more times other than the first time to actually get the $20 refund I was overcharged is by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The manager argued, and argued. She charged me $0.20 per side x 200 copies for 100 double-sided programs on colored paper--not card stock. On what planet are double sided copies $0.40 per sheet of paper?! $43+ for said copies?! I think she can't do math. I'll never be back, but they don't seem to care. We went in here on Monday to have closing documents overnighted with guaranteed next day delivery by 2:00PM Tuesday...... we'll it's Thursday and the documents still aren't there. We called the store and asked them where they were and they said they have no idea. They tried to blame it on the rain.....RAIN.....like there vehicles can't move if the roads are wet. Woman behind the counter at the Murphy store said the don't "do" USPS. I brought in a package to ship with two different mailing labels -- one for a P.O. Box and another for UPS/FED EX/etc. I ask which would be cheaper. The woman behind the counter said the don't "do" USPS and the USPS would definitely be cheaper since UPS has insurance on all packages, and that I'd have to to to the Post Office, which was closed. I went to the Sachse store and guess what -- sending the package UPS was HALF the price of sending it USPS. There were only two customers in the Murphy store -- maybe three, so it wasn't that she was rushed. She flat-out couldn't be bothered. I will NOT go to Murphy again. read more

I normally don't write reviews, but felt absolutely compelled after multiple bad experiences. Staff is unfriendly and sometimes rude. I had a bad experience here where the manager got extremely belligerent with me because I told them my company had a UPS account (which they do) and they thought I meant a house account with that specific store. The manager came up and in front of me, told the new person he was training that "these idiots don't know the difference between a house account and a UPS account, happens all the time". He thought he was real funny chuckling and laughing with the new hire, literally right in front of me at the register. A couple months later, my wife visits this store carrying 2 boxes, one of them very large. There's 4 staff at the counter. They can see her walking up and struggling, but ignore her. She finally has to drop the boxes and walks in and asks if someone can help. The same manager mentioned before, after my wife has to explain why she needs help (she weighs 80 lbs), finally agrees to help. My wife is getting the other package taken care of while the large one is still sitting outside. Finally, my wife goes out and gets it herself. Side Note: An old man having the same issue walks in, asks for help with a package, and is told they normally don't help with packages by the manager. My wife goes out and helps the old man carry his packages in. We'll be driving significantly out of our way to ship anything from now on. Staff here always seems either indifferent, unfriendly, or at worst plain rude. They are not very helpful or considerate. No cart or dolly even available to help you bring in boxes. Not even an acknowledgement when yoy walk in. UPS ought to give all their staff here some sort of customer service training. I went to this location to send a package C.O.D. to Belgium. Was first offended by the employee constantly telling me how expensive it would be, implying I couldn't afford it. When I explained it was C.O.D. he argued with me about doing it, and said his manager didn't like doing that so he wouldn't do it for me. I had 3 package sent to this UPS location the period of about 10 days, all on different days. EVERY time there was an issue! I was told there was no package there for me when there was and that I was not in their system! WTH??? I drove home after I was told to call the main UPS only to be have to go right back and INSIST that they look harder and there it was! Same exact thing 2 days later with more excuses and this time I would not leave until they found my package in a pile. The last straws was getting a text that I had a package sitting there for days apparently. My husband went to retrieve after I had called and a male employee put me on hold and came back to phone to say that there was a package there for me. On my husbands arrival--there was none--again WTH??? After doing my own investigating I learned a package I had picked up the previous week was never documented as being picked up!
