Came in early this morning to open a PO Box and had the pleasure of working with Anthony, the owner. When I say this man is the definition of multitasking--I mean it. Not only did he help me get my PO Box set up, but he was also assisting several other customers at the same time, all while staying calm, organized, and incredibly kind. He was pleasant with everyone, and even when he had to turn someone away because their needs were better suited for FedEx, he didn't just send them off--he provided a helpful solution and guided them to the nearest location. I was having difficulty tracking a package and was simply told there was nothing that could be done and that I would need to call customer service myself. A more appropriate and professional response would have been: "I'm sorry you're having trouble. Let me see what I can do to help. I can assist you with contacting customer service." Tamika the store manager was no help and just said it is what it is and to just buy a label online. She did say they are kind of like Amazon where they can ship stuff cheap but the customer can not? That's something I don't usually hear very often these days when I go to a business, but the gentleman behind the counter at this location has always been polite, friendly, and efficient when I've gone there. I use the UPS Store to pick-up any packages that are sent to me for mail orders that I may have. Instead of having them left at my doorstep unattended, I'd rather have them go to the store so I don't have to worry that my items will disappear if I'm not home. I've been to this location now a few times for this reason and the customer service is terrific. Please do not start a box here or seek any services here. Amazon accidentally shipped a box containing my coffee to this store and I was told I had to pay for 3 days for them holding it. The coffee had just got there and my friend had been there the previous day to pick it up. The owner waited on him and we bought a book of stamps. My firend asked for the package he was told it is not there. The next day after amazon confirmed it was there we called the store. The owner of this store was by far the cruelest person we have ever spoken to. He told us the package would cost 15 dollars and he was the one that did not find it for us the previous day. We offered 5.00 because we had been there to pick the package up the previous day which was the first day. THERE ARE NO UPS STORES THAT CHARGE PER DAY FOR HOLDING PACKAGES EXCEPT THIS ONE. Things became worse the owner told me he was sending my package back and if I called again he would call the police for me trespassing if I tried to obtain my coffee. The wrongful use of the police who have really important things to do? I have never in my entire life spoken to any business who acted this way. I immediately called Dr Sanchez's office who is the commissioner of businesses for the state of Nevada. Please anyone else who suffers from what I have described call there also life is to short. I've been coming here for over 13 years! The employees go WAAAY beyond excellence! And so do the Managers. I am always greeted, as soon as I come inside the store. The employees are always smiling and very helpful. You can bring your Ups, and United States Postal stuff also. I just love the fact that I don't have to go to to Post Office!! I can't for the life of me understand why this location has low reviews because the staff is amazing!!! I come to this location a few times a month and Cash and Elrick are always terrific. No matter the amount of people in the store Cash enthusiastically greats EVERYONE....EVERY SINGLE TIME. I've yet to have a visit where her energy wasn't 100% consistent. Elrick is always so sweet and attentive and always offers assistance when I'm struggling with numerous packages. Suzanne is a great addition to this location! Yesterday, they had an abhorrent customer that was hell bent on being rude to the staff. Although her (customer) tone was disrespectfulSuzanne kept reassuring her the request was handled and offered to show her where she could find the information. The lack of knowledge, poor customer service and poor communication is the reason for this rating. I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with incompetent and a rude employee! I assume she was the one in charge as she was summoned to the register to clear up an error from another worker. It's unfortunate that I couldn't get a clear understanding of the fees in writing format, despite my requests. The rude EMPLOYEE felt her verbal explanation was sufficient. Between the glares, stares and her eagerness to want to engage in some sort of low class banter, I knew this would be my LAST time patronizing this classless location. I've had 2 separate packages within the last 3 months that have been lost that never made it past this stores initial scan. Mistakes happen, but this makes me not want to use this location anymore. I send maybe 100 packages a month between different locations and USPS. I've had zero issues with other locations and USPS. This is the only location that have had packages lost. read more

I return my Amazon packages at this UPS location. Everyone I've dealt with there has been polite, professional, and efficient. They keep the lines moving (it's a popular place) and are patient with customers. My favorite employee Elrick is normally there, and he always recognizes me and greets me warmly. I even ran into him out in the community and we greeted each other and chatted. Super nice guy, and a hard worker! I commend him on the person he is: kind, intelligent, willing to go the extra mile. Absolutely insane shipping prices. I own an online store so am quite familiar with the shipping process. I just needed to mail a letter, a single envelope, IN Vegas. Literally just a few miles away, I would've dropped it off myself but the mailbox is locked. I asked how much for express aid she said $55!! I was absolutely baffled. I obviously chose not to send it express and sent it normal USPS and im praying it makes it to its destination. Just for reference I stopped at my usual shipping store, UPS Store on Sahara Ave, asked him how much to express a single envelope. $12.50, with a tracking number and 2 day max. So I can say with certainty that the other UPS store is inflating their prices MASSIVELY. I don't know how sending an envelope within city limits can possibly cost nearly $60. Absolute scam, each UPS store is independent and they can set their own prices is what my friendly store employee told me. Avoid this place or you'll be getting robbed! read more

Dropping off a small box and I need a tiny strip of tape about index finger length long and was told: "We charge a $1 taping fee?" You got to be kidding me, I could understand if I was mailing out a giant box that would take up a decent amount of tape but for a tiny strip like I needed I am good. Employee was very nice though. Amazon misled me by stating in their return options you could take an item to ups and they will repackage and ship your return item for you. When I got to this location I was unfortunately not surprised to find out they use a very tiny bag for returns supposedly. When I suggested putting the item back in the original package with maybe 5 inches of tape to reseal I was told there would be a dollar charge. Absurd. For the pod person, who responded to the other reviews highlighting the same ridiculous scam about tape. Do not post the same weird lame nonsense that does not address the issue you are trying to rip people off and inflate the price of a piece of tape. Went in with all my labels asked if they could put some tape on and across the opening "sure $2". Wow, $2 for tape and I would like to say it would be customer service to help out the customer. I went to Walmart Neighborhood Store to purchase tape (Duck Brand 55-Yards Clear Packing Tape $1.90). Was going to go further with my business to 5546 Camino Al Notre Suite No. 2. They always are willing to go the extra mile and with a smile you can see behind their mask. I thought to try it one more time. This is the worst UPS in town. They wanted to charge me for taping a return receipt onto my package and then they wanted to charge me for taping it shut. I've never had this problem with any other UPS. I guess that's why they probably need of training at the store. I don't know who's running the store but they need new management obviously if your running a UPS Store you can afford to tape a print label to the Box and not charge people for it. You're horrible. One would usually expect the staff to be disgruntled with a last minute customer but her and the entire staff were extremely welcoming. The first package I dropped off at this store (around noon, well before the UPS driver picks up all the packages) I didn't see an update on UPS's site that the shipment was on it's way to it's destination. I called the next day and found out that they forgot to scan it the previous day, so it was never picked up. The second package I dropped off at this store (which was on Friday, 06/01/2018, also around noon), I ensured it was scanned before I left and got a receipt. The next day, again no shipment progress was showing on UPS's site, just that it had been dropped off at a UPS store. It was the weekend so I figured I'd give it until Monday. Still no progress, so I called the store on Monday morning and was told, "all the packages were picked up from Friday, so you'll need to open a case with UPS corporate to find out where it is." I asked the person I spoke with if he'd just look around the store (based on what happened to the first package I dropped off above), and he refused to look around. So I opened a case with UPS and got notice yesterday that they now consider it lost, and I now have to file a claim to recuperate the cost of the item. Two packages with similar issues (lost at store)? You're better off finding a drop box than going here. read more
