Thanks to Mike and his crew at the UPS Store on Ray rd. These young men were kind, professional, friendly and most of all attentive. They greeted all who walked in the door with a smile and thanked everyone for coming in after the business was handled. Mike actually took the time to come from around the counter and show me how to forward my email to the store for printing all the while not making me feel like an old fart for not understanding the process. (and now I know how to - thanks to his thoughtfulness and PATIENCE). The store is small but it was clean, bright and expertly organized. I had a fragile pottery type sculpture that I fought with for a week to try to pack for shipping. I finally gave up and left it with UPS to send for me. The recipient called a few days later and talked about the terrific packing job as much as the sculpture. Pricey, but worth it. read more

While I am more typically found at FedEx, truth be told, I use this UPS Store quite frequently for returning Amazon purchases that were bad (usually electronics that came from overseas). I generally pop in with my prepaid label and drop off a couple packages at a time. The clerk is always friendly and always gives me a drop off receipt with no sales pitch about any of the services they offer there. I have even brought in pieces for the US Mail and bought exact postage for them there. They take them from you so you don't have to make a second stop. They have postal boxes, copying and even sell things such as iPhone cases and chargers there. Stop in if you need packing services or to send anything. read more

This stores prices are excessive. I faxed five sheets of paper for almost $7.00 and printed 4 pages and was on their computer for $20.00. Not to mention the sun is directly on you so you can barely even see the screen which obviously takes longer to use while you're trying to shade the computer to even see it. I went in there thinking maybe $10.00 maybe $15.00 max... what a rip off. read more

The UPS store was a very good experience. The lady behind the counter was really helpful in allowing me to select packing material, repackage my parcel, and pay the postage. I had to repackage the parcel in the store, and she was very patient and helpful, even helping get more packing peanuts for me to use. I wish I would have got the gentleman's name, but I had to come here to do fingerprints for a job. This location was quite the distance from my house and there was a line out the door, but the employees were working fast and with friendly service. When it was my turn, the employee that helped me do the fingerprints was so nice. I was messing up on some and he was very patient and walking me through the process. He made sure everything was correct. I definitely wouldn't have anxiety or issues if I ever had to do this process again. great service! I love the savings I get on buying the copy cards ahead 500 or 1,000, about $.05 per page. It has allowed my printer to last forever doing the printing there. I also work with several attorneys so I am able to do large print jobs. They also offer discounts if you have AAA. great place for copies, mailing, printing from email and notary services. I have lived in the area for over 11 years and used their service for most of those years. I love that they are open on Sundays during the holidays. read more

Don't do mailboxes here, you will be sorry. Be cautious about mailing things from here. Don't be fooled if someone acts nice, you can tell by this and other recent reviews that the service is not worth using. They used to be pretty good. New owner/manager/staff and now their service has fallen drastically and it is just not worth it. They do the basics ok - send out packages for a fee. So the basic services is 3 star service (ok but not great). But what kicks this review down to 1 star was the treatment when I closed my mailbox. I had a mailbox here for years. In the last year or two sometimes something got misplaced (a package a shipper said was delivered or a letter that took an extraordinary time to arrive) but it would eventually show up at my mailbox. People seemed friendly but I only used them to pick up my mail or if I had a return (if I shipped a package on my own I used the USPS kiosks as those are so easy to use). I have had mailboxes with other companies in other locations so I am very familiar with the typical choices to keep the box open or to pay a monthly fee (and any forwarded postage fees if I was not local to pick mail up regularly). I contacted them a month before my contract was due for renewal to get choices. After discussing choices and prices (we had to escalate the call to find someone who understood the choices), I said I wanted the choice where we didn't keep the box open but they held the mail for several months and we would pick it up every couple of weeks (for a fee of course). They had said mail would be thrown away (not returned to sender). Since I have changed mailboxes several times over many years, I knew how many odd things are not caught when changing mailing addresses and while they pushed only one month hold after the contract was finished, I knew I needed mail for several more months and told them this every time. I spoke to the employees regularly that final month of the contract and the following month (via phone and in person) and each time reminded them of the choice I was taking. Often I struggled to get them on the same page as I was with the choice and typically someone else had to get involved (they talked to someone in the back room then came back or they talked to someone else then got back on the phone). At one point they said take the free month then do the paid months if I wanted them (I thought that was really weird but just said I knew I needed about 3 months after the contract was done). I offered them the keys a couple of days before the box was to be closed and again said what we wanted to do. They said they would do a month free first and I said well ok, but I need several months to continue receiving mail. I asked if they needed anything from me (money, me to sign anything), they said no it was all set. Now, I am at just over a month after the box was closed. I went to pick up mail and give them money for holding the mail for us to pick up for the next month and I was told "your box was closed....you are no longer in the system....we can not do anything". Of course I was livid, I must have talked to them 5-6 times to make sure they were doing what I wanted only to be and now told it wasn't done with a "too bad" attitude. I was finally told I could send an email to the general email for the store and maybe something would be done (huh? Why wasn't I told to call or come back when the owner was there and told when that would be? And why the heck did the manager not care at all, especially when he was involved in some of those phone calls I made?). I wish I would have read the more recent reviews, I would have known not to trust them at all and just left the box open an additional 3 months. Not caring about a term customer is very telling. If they ever give a reply to my email sent 8/5, I will update this review. Update 8/16: Interesting that UPS store has not answered my email (I was told to escalate this issue to the owner that way), yet he replied to Yelp - interested in their image, not actually helping customers. Hmm, ownership change... so the letter saying extend your rental now at a lower price before ownership changed was an advertising ploy? Bottom line, I asked repeatedly for mail to be held and picked up after the box was closed, I offered to pay for it twice (before hand and at the time the mailbox was closed) and both times I was told no money was needed at that time, then they have excuses that keep changing why they "can't do it". Update 9/14: I have been talking to corporate. They were concerned what the store had said & done and strongly agreed with me. They told the manager to give me the service but the store is just making up excuses. read more

Me and my wife got a mailbox here so we could begin the moving process before we bought a home in the area. The help staff is very friendly and in the capacity they have, they do what they can. Carol (the lady in charge of the mailboxes) messed up the paperwork for the mailbox number. We got that cleared up, but she did not "open" the box in her system, so when we needed an address verification, they were unable and unwilling to help. It was very frustrating. Then a month goes by and I go to check the box, there was a note that the box had to be upgraded due to having occasional business labeled mail sent to us. We had clarified that we would get mail by different names on the mailbox. All in all, I can't wait till we are able to cancel this box, so that I don't have to ever set foot in the place again. read more

I had to ship back my broken cell phone, so everything was all ready to go with a prepaid label and everything. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, which is always nice to see. The staff was moving really fast, but were super efficient. I was in and out in a jiffy. They had some pretty cool pens there and I picked up one because I needed a replacement purse pen. Very bad and a racist store. I was waiting for the doors to open. A worker of UPS store named Andrew was giving me frustrated angry looks from inside. Ones he opens the doors I ask him "Is the store open?" and his response was besides his body language being very irritated and NO "Good morning" or welcome like he greeted other white people who came in after me. Anyways, he opens the door silence and I asked "Are you open?" his response was " yag! what time is it" wit ha smerky and rude tone. I was holding it all. Another UPS worker, a young lady was right there looking at all this her name is Katlyn. No apologies or nothing but she politely helped me with my shipment. At the end of my transaction, I did ask her the stores manager's name and the times he will be there so that I can report this incident on how disrespectful the guy is. My advice to whom ever runs the store or works here is put a board stating "We serve whites only". Another 2 times in the past I had similar experience with 2 white guys who work there giving me very rude looks. Just an FYI, I am a 32 year old female, well dressed very educated human being with 2 Bachelor degrees and a Masters and I am a US Citizen. Worst experience ever!!!!! Paid a lot of money to have package delivered by a certain day, they are delivering 3 DAYS LATER!!!! I called the store, they gave me the run around. My husband and I went to mail a couple of packages at the Post Office off of Priest Dr. Between Warner Rd. and Elliot. The girl at the pick up door was very rude so we basically said, "Okay, thank you" and left. We drove to the UPS store on Ray and 48th St. They were awesome! They filled the box with popcorn and taped it shut for us, at no extra charge (The girl at the Post Office was going to charge us $4 for tape). At the UPS store, it even cost less to ship our packages. They were extremely helpful, friendly. We will definitely drive the extra 5 minutes to have such good customer service. read more

I had already left by then but they called me back quickly for me to take a look and verify if it was acceptable or not.
