Came to this location to get passport photo done. I had been to a couple other UPS locations and either they were out of film or the staff didn't know how to deal with passport photos. As soon as I entered the store to ask if they could do a passport photo, she didn't even hesitate, and got right to taking my photo. Within 5 minites, it was developed, cropped and paid for! Do not go to this store, we were returning a $600 valued item and one of the workers said it was all set and instead of sending it to the correct place it was sent it to an amazon warehouse store. We called to speak to the manager of this store and he never returned our calls. Stopped into the store, and they said there was nothing they could do that they spoke to the employee that messed up. The company that needed the item back encouraged us to write this review it's not typically in our nature but people need to know what they are signing up for. read more

My son is leaving GCU and coming back home to California so we needed to ship a few items back since we were going to fly home instead of driving. Based on the yelp reviews, I decided to go this UPS store to ship a 40" flat screen tv along with a couple of pairs of shoes. The line was long when I got there at 530pm on 12/15/22 with only one person working the register but after about five minutes, two more employees came out from the back and then the line of 6 customers in front of me went quick! When it was my turn in line, I was greeted by Ruby, who greeted me with a smile. She was super helpful in explaining to me my options on shipping a large item like a TV and a walked me through the entire process. She told me that she would take extra care of the TV and offered me insurance which I added on the purchase of the shipping. I found Ruby to be extremely knowledgeable but more importantly, super customer friendly. She made my visit to the UPS store. Very pleasurable. I highly recommend this UPS store for anyone's shipping needs. read more

I've been going here for years b/c it is convenient to my home and grocery store. It's a good place for small copy jobs & mailing services, which typically are over priced. But I'm done for large projects. Every time I pay for a large copying service something goes wrong and, typically, they give me a large discount. Today, I needed a 90-page scan-to-email copy in COLOR. Not only was it not in color, the pages were slanted. A few were so slanted that text was off frame, field, and page--however you want to describe it. I can't post those examples here because it contains personal information. Even with the discount, I paid a lot for this service today, and crooked copies in b/w ink were sent to a law firm that I had told the documents would have yellow highlights and blue ink for annotation. This store used to be more professional than what I heard, saw and experienced today. I went in to drop an Amazon return about 3 to 4 O'clock, and I heard the songs playing and they were so inappropriate, they were cussing words and the word "ni**a" and "bi**c, the two workers; the young lady and the guy didn't seem to be bother about it As a black person, I did feel offended on the choice of music in a public and costumer service space, I think those choices of songs should be better, and the manager needs to check this and train their workers better, so other people don't feel offended or upset when coming into the store. Also, they were not welcoming at all. Telling me to use the Kiosk, when I didn't have a QR CODE. No one wants to come in to the store and hear inappropriate music and the workers not caring that clients are listening to that. Never returning to that store. It was better before, I don't know what happened. read more

Koreine the manager of UPS store 4850, located at 24th Street and Baseline Road was very helpful when my package never reached its destination. I tried calling UPS but only got into a voice mail loop (never reached a person). I tried emailing UPS but got nowhere, I tried using their website and was told to call them. Koreine entered the return request from her terminal at the store for me since I was so frustrated. As a result, UPS sent the $ to my account. read more

I like this place and was glad to see the sign outside informing that employees were wearing masks and asking customers to do so as well. So I was bummed to see the sole employee working without a face covering even though I and the majority of other customers were wearing them. It seemed somewhat rude. The problem is that people think that masks are to protect themselves, but that is not the case except for the most vulnerable like the elderly and cancer patients. The masks are to protect other people, or in this case your customers. Sorry to be the "mask police" but this really would not have bugged me that much if you didn't have that sign posted at the door outside. read more

Guy wasted my time asking my name and address over and over again and finally after 10m of delay, dutifully informed me they can't send anything that has to do with firearms industry, im trying to send a little metal red dot adapter plate. Not a firearm, not ammunition, nothing to do with function of a firearm...I will say UPS and specifically the UPS STORE BRAND has lost all of my business. This is America. I went in on a Saturday morning telling the workers that I needed a package overnighted and there by Tuesday morning at the very latest. They said that they could not guarantee it would get there by Tuesday but if I did overnight they could guarantee it by Monday. They gave me two options, $75 to mail it with UPS or $50 to mail it with USPS. I chose the cheaper option obviously because who wouldn't? There was no disclosure that they could not guarantee it if it were shipped with USPS they in fact promised me that it would be there by Monday. It is now saying it will get there on Wednesday so I went to ask for a refund and now they are telling me that they legally did not have to disclose that there were no guarantee that it would get there because USPS is a third-party with them. They are not refunding me And then the manager that they named John who was a sassy little thing, laughed at me when I said that I would call to complain to the people above him and told me good luck with that and that the people above him where his best friend who owns the place. I will now be calling the Better Business Bureau and doing everything in my power to make even the tiniest little dent in their business Because it is not OK to lie to customers and then to tell them that they legally had no obligation to protect them or warn them of anything that could go wrong. That is shady and gross business and not a way to treat a frequent customer of four years. read more

I went to this UPS because every time I had in the past social distancing was enforced and it was quick and clean. Today, no social distancing, no masks, no gloves no sanitizer between customers. The staff person at 130 didn't get the address correct on my package and I was frankly too freaked out to stay and be exposed to so many people any longer and left with my package. read more

ABOVE AND BEYOND! Patrick (the manager) went above and beyond to help me track a package I had lost all tracking information for AND had sent last January. All I had was the date I had sent the package and the cost of shipping found on my credit card statement. From there he searched their history and also spent quite a bit of time on the phone with UPS. The end result was proof my package had in fact been delivered (recipient claimed they had never received it) and who had signed for it. This was of SIGNIFICANT help to me. I live nearby and ship quite a few packages monthly. I've ALWAYS had a good experience there. The entire staff is friendly and clearly cares about their customers. Today was an exceptional example of that caring. Side note: Today there were quite a few people working and all were wearing their masks. Over the last several weeks I've noticed they are consistently observant and respectful by wearing masks and asking the same of their customers. It's unfortunate that after spending years of shipping from this location I had a completely miserable experience today. I brought in a box to ask if they could ship size and they agreed that they could. While bringing in the remaining nine boxes they proceeded to tell me that the price would be almost $50 per box to ship. This is strange because the UPS facility that shipped them to my home shipped them at $12 per box. Then when I proceeded to remove the boxes from the store I got zero help from the three employees who were standing around chatting taking nine individual boxes back out to my car. Sold a laptop on eBay. Printed my label at home. Went to this store (NW corner of 7th St and McDowell) to purchase a laptop box. Bought one, but then the employee says they can't locate one right now. Told me to put the laptop and label inside a bag they provided me and they would ship it later that morning. Left everything with them and walked out of the store. HUGE mistake. Less than a week later, I receive a message from the buyer of the laptop. He received a package, but there was no laptop inside of it. Only miscellaneous items that appeared to have been meant for some children. Also a packing slip with a completely deifferent name and address. I went to this UPS Store to try and get some help. The nice employee who listened to my issue went back to talk to her manager. The manager WOULD NOT EVEN COME TO THE FRONT OF THE STORE. Instead, he sent the employee back who sheepishly told me that her manager said that "they were just a franchise" and could not help me whatsoever. I was given a 800 number that I was supposed to call. I was angry, but politely thanked her and left the store. Never to return. The 800 number connected me with some offshore 3rd party customer service that was no help at all. I now have a claim pending with UPS for over a month, but I doubt they will ever be able to locate my laptop. BE VERY CAREFUL DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE. They will take your money but will do NOTHING to help you, even when the fault is ENTIRELY THEIRS. Horrible business. Zero ethics. Please avoid if at all possible. read more
