I was there early this morning. The parking lot was empty. The lady at the counter was more worried about where I was parked than anything. I was parked directly in front of the store out of the parking spot a bit. My package was only a drop off. She accuse me of blocking the driveway for outback. My truck wasn't big enough if I parked it in the middle of the street to block off the driveway. I'm done with this place just waiting for the email that my package weighed more than the post office said it was, so I can be charged more. I haven't been here in a while and it's the same old BS. Every time I have gone in to this store, the staff has been extremely helpful and friendly. I have left every time thinking "Wow, that was easy" and I actually look forward to going there, which is unusual because I'm usually sending something back that I've ordered on Amazon, which you'd usually think of as an "Ugh, I have to deal with this thing I don't want to do"-type of task. The Plattsburgh UPS Store is my package receiving spot of choice when I need to purchase items that can only be shipped to the U.S. I've used the service a few times to receive things like boxed bicycles to small electronic parts. I especially like the fact that no pre-registration is required, even for USPS shipments. Open 7 days is also a must for me. The $5 flat rate per package received per week is reasonable. I was greeted with very friendly and courteous staff during my last two visits recently. I would recommend the package receiving service for any Canadian planning on buying and importing goods themselves. read more
