Came in on the Monday after Thanksgiving, only one clerk behind the counter at noon. We needed four signatures on 3 sets of documents, so the lady clerk, Darlene, asked us to wait until she finished serving all the shipping customers. Alright I have been to this UPS location more than 10 times in last 9 months. I knew that what they charge for shipping UPS is always a bit more than what you'd pay if you go to UPS company location on Norris Canyon Road in San Ramon. However three events in last 9 months led me to write this: a) First they would not take a pre-paid 2nd day air shipping box.Mind you this is pre-paid, insurance paid etc. All they had to was accept it. No reason given. I guess they were mad they missed out on chance to fleece me out of some money! b) Wanted to ship a pair motorcyle tires & their quote was more than double what UPS website provided.When I challenged the lady at the front desk she had that sheepish grin (you know when you are caught with pants down) on her face. c) Few weeks ago stopped by to ship a pre-paid 2nd day air label & the lady there would not let me use a UPS box instead she wanted me to pay for a box. When I asked her why she said that "we are not a UPS store & we have to make money". I went to other UPS store they had UPS labelled boxes which I used and nobody asked me why or stopped me from doing so. Shady business tactics with an intent to always extract that penny from the customer.I have interacted with owner few times and his zeal to get money out of your pocket has rubbed off on his employees as well. Dirt bags; owner & all the employees. Stay away, go to some other UPS store or even Fedex store. read more

Seriously the rudest service ever. When I told her I wanted to do usps she made a remark about how I have it in a ups bag. When I checked my receipt upon leaving I noticed she added tracking when I didn't ask her too. Seriously they always push ups and at times have even refused to accept my usps packages. read more

I went to the store have them deliver a package. I found out several days later that the package never got to the place because the driver misread the address, despite it being the correct address. I found out that the package got sent back to the store, yet I was never told. I checked in on the status of the package about four days after I dropped it off and discovered what had happened. I immediately went to the UPS website and had a 30 minute conversation with the person in the CHAT section. She said that the package would get redelivered the following week, now that they knew it was the correct address. I found out a week later that the package was never sent back out, but was sent back to the store. I called UPS to ask what happened and asked for a refund. I was told that it wasn't a UPS problem, but it was a problem with the store since I did the transaction through the store and each store is independent. I immediately called the store to ask. I talk to a young man who promised he would have the manager call me back. I never got a call. I called again three days later and got the same response. Again, I never got a call from the management. The package never got delivered, despite me paying over $20 to get it delivered. Definitely not a happy customer. I will never use UPS to deliver any package ever again. Both the corporate and store dropped the ball and screwed up. read more

If could give them zero star i would. I was here UPS to drop off by parcel and I dint tape it as i was out of Tape. Usually stores tape it for you if by any chance you haven't. Well these people charge you taping your box $1.50. Can you believe that. what a joke. USPS never charged me for tape, pak mail people never charged me, UPS store in Dublin never. Well I am never going to come back. I can drive to Dublin but not this store. Good way of making money. I don't recommend this store read more

Yes, I was the customer who asked for 8 inches of tape to seal a small return parcel. The young man behind the counter was almost gleeful when he told me that would be $2. Just following his boss's orders and store policy. I have literally spent hundreds of Dollars with this UPS location over the last year. They just pushed me over the road to FedEx; all for $2. BTW, I also had the A4 single sheet/ envelope to England scenario with this same office. In the end the Postal Service shipped it for $12. read more

This is a spontaneous and unsolicited review. I've been in sales most of my life. Giving great service is as important to me as receiving great service. My first experience with the UPS Store at 6754 Bernal Avenue, Suite 740, Pleasanton, CA 94566 was to return some AT&T equipment. Despite being the only employee available, Darlene Milam managed to service several customers very professionally and efficiently. Darlene is obviously a very experienced and dedicated employee and should be considered a great asset to UPS. In fact, I commented to her (in front of waiting customers), "Whatever they are paying you, it's not enough." There is no second chance to make a good first impression and Darlene made such a very good and positive impression on me that I returned to ship another package with equal results. I look forward to seeing her again next time I have anything to ship. It's been my experience that people will instantly communicate their dissatisfaction whenever the littlest thing goes wrong but hardly ever take any time to express a "job well done" because they are "just doing their job". I have been there lately. Under new ownership, the store people have a pleasant attitude. They offer to carry heavy packages into the store from the car. They also explained to me in depth all shipping and insurance options. I hope they continue the exemplary level of customer service. read more

I walked into at 2 mins before closing and I had to send my old cable boxes to AT&T otherwise I would have been charge $300. I was expecting to be told that it was too late but the assistant was great (considering it was her birthday and she had a dinner date). She gladly helped me out and save me a bundle. read more

This place quoted me at least $50 more to package a shipment than the UPS store down the road on Hopyard. The woman who answered the phone kept saying everything was going to be "AT LEAST" this much or that much, almost as though she was trying to scare me off! I'm not sure how two UPS stores can quote such different prices?? She quoted more than what UPS calculated online so I know she's was overestimating, but the guy at the Hopyard UPS gave me exact quotes that matched online. I don't know what else to say except overpriced and rude. One gal in particular wears the rude hat with no apologies. More expensive than other places in town to fax. Nickel and dime you too while they're at it. Will drive a little further to avoid this place in the future. read more

I regularly visit this store and have been relatively satisfied. But today I needed an 8-10in piece of packing tape to seal my package, which I understood I would have to pay for...much to my disgust, they wanted to charge me $2.19!! For a piece of tape!! Ridiculous. read more
