When James is working (James H.) he greets every customer with a friendly smile and is beyond helpful as well as knowledgeable...James has assisted me with shipping, amazon returns, and various questions regarding international shipping, passports, and probably ten other inquires I can't recall at the moment. I booked an appointment online for this location to get a passport photo taken. I showed up on time for the appointment and the woman at the counter just told me that their cameras are broken and they haven't been doing passport photos at all for quite a while. That's fine, I guess, but couldn't anyone have reached out and let me know? I provided my contact info when I made the appointment for this exact location. Why didn't anyone call or email me to let me know that they don't actually do passport photos? Don't bother going to the location at Greenback either for passport photos, because their camera is apparently also broken. read more

We are in the process of getting ready to move and had been collecting bags of documents to shred related to our business and financial matters, in our garage. I used Yelp to find businesses that offer document shredding and located a UPS store a few minutes from our house. I called ahead for business hours and cost of services. I was able to quickly process and pay for shredding services for over half a dozen bags of documents. I was treated courteously and had my order processed in just a few minutes. I didn't have experience in the area of having documents shredded so it was a relief to find a business that was close to our house, a name we trust, and a reasonable price. Don't take a high value package to this UPS store, they will not sign for it! UPS requires a signature, I had a package that was ready to go on my account, but it was insured, they would not take it. Regarding Amazon returns, they do them but they ask bags be sealed. It's really not that big of a deal. I did not know you could never forward your mail. They forced you to pay to get your mail. I have no idea where my dead mother's mail is at. I have no idea of all the mail that I need to contact. This is a mess. this is total fraud to force people to pay to get their mail. I've heard nothing from a manager or the owner or any help regarding this. What a trap do not ever get your mail from a UPS store you will forever be trapped to pay them and the store has done. POOR customer service! Choose another location, this one sucks! I've NEVER had to tape up my Amazon return boxes and today a young (Asian) girl told me I had to have them taped up or I can purchase a tiny roll of their overpriced tape! I told her I was in 4 days ago and the person helping me never said I had to have them taped up. I said forget it and walked out! The Amazon return policy says No Box - No Problem, No Printer - No Problem... Clearly THIS UPS Store has a problem! I return Amazon packages to Kohl's all the time and I've NEVER, EVER had to have the packages taped up! I will go to another location before I ever come to this location again! A package shipped 2-Day delivery took 5 days to get from Roseville to Rocklin (not even the destination). I dropped it off at UPS Store Roseville 1:30pm Wednesday, April 13th, it arrived at UPS, Rocklin on Monday, April 18th. I spoke with the owner, Marissa, who advised me that if they didn't process the package (meaning print the label at their store), that they accepted UPS packages for shipping as a "courtesy". But... it's a UPS Store, isn't that their job??? Apparently not. She would not look the tracking number up, simply kept referring me to UPS Customer Service. I tried to get her to double check her end before having to call and wait on hold with UPS Customer Service. I also advised her that if my package didn't reach the location in time, it would cost me $700. Again, too bad, talk to UPS... I called UPS and they told me there had been a fire at their UPS Hub in Lancaster and there was a shortage of trucks, causing delays. They provided me with a case number, should I need it. The UPS Representative said that all UPS stores were informed of the issue in Lancaster. My conclusion is that the Roseville, Sunrise UPS Store was unaware or just didn't want to be bothered with my concern. Either way, in the future, I will go somewhere that customer service has some value. read more

I needed to shred old tax returns and home sales docs. I didn't realize UPS offers that service. There was a line outside, but they were efficient and it moved quickly. The counter gal explained the service, showed me the locked bin and told me when my discards would likely be destroyed. Cost 99 cents per pound. Well worth it. If I could give NO stars, I would! This store has the most atrocious customer service and is full of thieves. I sent a package, and it never got to the recipient because it "arrived empty" at one of their locations. They would not refund me, even though I had a receipt, and a picture of everything I sent! The store manager, James, did absolutely nothing to resolve this issue. Neither did anyone at corporate so far! I will use fed ex from now on and would encourage everyone to do the same. The Covid-19 situation still here, and CA starting to ease restrictions. This essential business is cooperating. Both staff members were wearing masks. They permit only 2 customers at a time. 6 foot makers on sidewalk outside to guide social distancing for those in line. When I was there, about 60% of customers leaving or waiting in line were NOT wearing masks. Unfortunately it would be hard for them to enforce a requirement for customers. Also their business is not practical to modify to curbside (outdoor) service. This business is working to be part of the solution. read more

When I came back to ask for a reprocess since they did not process correctly...Marissa and James said no. They charged me more the second time. Which is absolutely ridiculous. This ups store is convenient for me as it's close to where I live. The employees are very helpful with whatever you need. It does get crowded in the morning, but the wait time is short. I've mailed overnight letters, sent packages, and they offer shredding services too, all at great prices. The closest usps is a few miles away, but I would rather go here as service is outstanding, fast, and A++++ customer service. read more

Let me first start by saying, this is a franchise. The owners must hold uphold a certain standard for doing business. This is UPS, they are more profitable on the commercial side, so of course you shouldn't be shocked to see a high price tag for a a small package, but you won't see price changes from franchise to franchise. If you want to send your package on a subsidized, ahem, cheaper rate, go to the local post office. Yah, subsidized rate, paid for by all, your local tax payer. You want to wait in line? Or do you want to have someone package it for you? I usually go to this UPS store to drop off my Amazon rentals. I've been here twice to send out packages. The workers here are usually pretty nice and don't even hesitate to wrap up a package for you. I was here last to return a pair of sunglasses. I had someone drop off a pair of shoes to be shipped. This store charged me $40 for USPS Priority Mail. I have never paid over $16 for that. When I called to inquiry I was told it's a surcharge. They charge more than double for a surcharge!? Do yourself a favor and go straight to the post office or buy your UPS label online and save a fortune. read more

Well, the staff was pretty helpful (not exactly friendly), but the price to pack and ship my package was exorbitantly high. I told them I was going to check around to see if I could find a cheaper price, and the guy told me not to bother. BUT I'm not stupid, I went to the mail box store on douglas. They could ship and pack the same package for 30 dollars cheaper. I mean, okay.. what? Why are their prices so much higher than another store that ships with UPS?
