It has been nine months since my last review. Because it is ALWAYS a delight to do business here. They are indeed Quick, friendly and smile all the time. What more can anyone ask for? Each employee seems to be kinder and nicer than their coworker. Going out of their way to please you. Seriously, I still have not found a more comprehensive UPS, and as comprehensive as this one, where everyone is super cool and chill. Lines seem to move at a Rocket pace.......In the blink of an eye, they can easily get over 25 customers processed in under 8 minutes flat. They are amazing!!! read more

I've been to a lot of UPS locations around San Diego and this one is hands down my favorite. They are always so quick, efficient, and incredibly friendly every time I walk in. It never feels stressful to drop something off here, even when it's busy. Eddison in particular is amazing. He is so kind and welcoming every single time I come in. Even during the holiday season when the store is packed and customers are being less than patient, he and the rest of the staff still manage to stay professional and positive. That kind of consistency and customer service really stands out. read more

I have NO IDEA how this UPS store doesn't have 5 stars. Cadence is a rock star and helped me out when I came in, on a Saturday, 5 minutes before closing. She even got me out before 5. I have a UPS store closer to me, but I'll gladly drive the extra 5 minutes to this store from now on. read more

I've been coming here for a couple of years now; it's close to me where I can swing by and drop off my Amazon returns etc. Always a fast and friendly service but during holidays it can get busy. Friendly service from the staff. Plenty of parking A little overpriced for some items, deliveries and services. They recently renovated the inside of this UPS store. read more

Fast service!!!! The gentleman and female working were fast and super nice. Greeted me upon entry and stopped what he was doing to help me. Even though there wasn't a line. I can't stand BAD SERVICE. I went in the morning and Charlotte helped me I was in line before a ton of people came into the store. She seen me before it got packed and says I can't help whoever is next. In my mind girl you know I'm next like whatever. I get to the counter and she says absolutely NOTHING! Like why are you working here if you can't say hi. She finish scanning my items and she just standing. I said may I have a receipt she points to the counter. Every time I have come to this location Ive had a pleasant experience until last Wednesday when I came to drop off return packages. I want to point out the unprofessionalism, dismissive behavior and lack of customer service I received. Upon entering the store the lines were not busy and I was next in line and the two female workers (caucasian and asian) dismissed my presence and acted as if they did not see me as i had been waiting for about 3-4 minutes by that time and proceeded to help other people until i spoke up as the caucasian girl blatantly helped someone who had come in well after me while the asian women stepped from behind her register after seeing me in her line and proceeded to ask others if they were there for notary. This needs to be corrected for future reference or choose another job if you are unwilling to acknowledge everyone regardless of who they are and what they look like because it gave racist behavior. read more

So far staff has been very helpful and waiting time hasn't been long. They seem to be adequately staffed and trained well.

I went in at 9am on a Saturday, 5/24. There were 7 people ahead of me, I almost left because of a time crunch. Edison was the ONLY employee there and man was he FAST!!! The phone kept ringing, he would answer and put guest on hold. The line kept growing, at no point did he show any frustration! When I got up to the front I mentioned how busy it was, he said "oh you know everyone's trying to run there errands early to enjoy their day" . I was out within 5 minutes! I rented a box from them for a year. I had many Amazon and furniture boxes sent there with no problems. The staff was always helpful and knowledgeable. The need for the box was only temporary, but I extended the service for another six months due to the convenience. read more

This location is super convenient and close to where I live. We love that we can drop off our Amazon returns here! Super simple and painless returns. All we have to do is package up the item and have the scan code ready. They do everything else! The store is small, clean. Parking can be a bit crazy since it's right near Starbucks and Ralph's. read more

The staff at UPS 0360 (Nina, Brooke, Vincent, and Charlotte) were very kind and patient with my shipment. I sent many boxes and had to pack them over the course of a few hours. But they didn't rush me and offered assistance throughout the process. They were also very transparent about the cost of things and how I'd like my shipments to be handled with care. Will definitely be back again (with less to send, hopefully)! read more

Just went in to return Amazon and my modem. The person was having trouble taping a box, I said I could help. Her response, "i don't want you to get too close, I'm running a 101 fever." No mask on. So I say, you should be wearing a mask. Her response, "i don't have one." Mind you a 24 hour CVS is in the same complex. I told her to call the manager, it's not responsible to put her customers at risk. Her response... "I am the manager" Not how I would expect a big company like UPS to run their stores, especially so close to the holidays. Came In this morning to send out me passport renewal package and Cassie made sure to take care of me! I had taken my photo here a while back and she noticed that it was actually printed a little too far zoomed in. She was super kind to reprint correctly and get me out the door with confidence that it won't get rejected! Do not go to this UPS. Apparently it's franchise owned which means they can charge you for absolutely anything & everything. I needed one email printed but because it was two sheets she charged me again for a piece of paper that was printed. They also charged me for assembly a box for me.. which wasn't told to me and charged me for the tape as well to "assemble" the box. While the charges are minimal the idea to charge anything to assemble or use tape is WILD. Katelyn was ringing me and was the least bit friendly or informative on the charges that were happening - she told me she was package my stuff and then threw it to the side as if it was garbage. This is the closest ups store to my home located in mission valley Ralph's shopping center. I often use them to drop my ups packages prepaid for selling things online such as Amazon and Poshmark. Cassie was super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. The store had a lot of people coming in and out but that didn't stop the speediness or friendliness of the service. I'm truly thankful for these hardworking associates who are doing their job with a smile on their face. Highly recommend this location for your shipping and packing needs. read more

Few weeks ago, I called the Hillcrest UPS store and inquiries whether they have the service of package & shipping. They info me there is and each location has it. The guy sounded quite friendly, informative, and professionalism too! I can go to any of the UPS stores to do the drop off. So I did. Today, having a short break between meetings, and deciding coming into this UPS store to sent out these packages... Walked in and ask them to packed it and shipped off. The woman who help assisted the guy behind the counter. She seem to have an attitude toward me, when she tell me how much the package plus shipping going to cost me. She thinks I was going to backed off. I didn't feel like telling them backdrops of the story behind the packages, and I see the lines is already forming as well. I have place to be, and clients to meet. I don't have time to stand there and have her checked her attitudes toward the customers. The first price she quoted was $40 some dollars and then when she asked where the packages were going. It's going to be shipped in San Diego. Then the price gone to $60! I inquired the difference, and that's when she caught an attitude to tell me that was for the cost of the packages and the other one is for shipping. Whatever! These will be shipped off to the destinations with signature. Usually I go to the USPS to mail off packages for the business. But this package it requires some packaging services. Best let these professionals handles it. But in my future, I may probably stay to my area of town to get a better customer service. read more

I'm updating my review of the UPS Store on Missions Center Road. Despite a lousy experience several years ago, I still use this facility for receiving my mail and, more importantly to me, for any packages that are sent to me: from Amazon.com, work related computer hardware, exercise equipment during the Covid pandemic, etc. I'm upgrading them to 5 stars. Here's why: This store sees a lot of turnover. Maybe they hire workers who are in transition as they juggle finishing off their college degree and trying to generate income. Whatever the reason, a bad experience from one worker several years ago seems to have been the exception rather than the rule. Despite all of the faces that come and go, I generally receive quick and friendly service while I am here. Again, that's across many people who have come and gone at this UPS Store. The only person who I have seen consistently over the years has been Nina. I believe she is a manager, but I'm not entirely sure. She's definitely the most senior member of the staff, not including the owners. She is always on top of everything, even when the delivery guys (e.g. UPS, FedEx, Amazon) on occasion take shortcuts to say they delivered a package that they did not, or more frequently, when Amazon drivers don't seem to always deliver on the delivery date that Amazon.com states that the package will be delivered. That's no fault of the store nor Nina's team. In all the years since my previous review, as a matter of fact, I've only had one delivery get lost, but it got lost in transit -- not at the store. So, again, the record for this UPS Store continues to be pristine since my last review. I've rented at other UPS Stores over the years and the price for this location is slightly higher than other locations, but this one is centrally located (well, central for me) and is open 7 days a week. As long as they continue their great service and while I continue to be in the San Diego area, I will continue to use their service and recommend them to anyone reading this review. read more

Worst UPS Store EVER! Expensive, poor customer service, and attitude of employees is demeaning and rude!

During COVID, it's been great to have a one stop shop for my shipping, stamp and notary needs. The ladies who work here have always been friendly and competent. The notary is there until 6 pm and I've used her services more frequently than expected over the past few months. Store is tiny so a bit hard to keep adequate distancing but staff is efficient so I'm always done & on my way within a few minutes. read more

Spoke with a girl that had glasses and was nothing but rude and condescending. I asked for the owners contact info and she would not give me Steve's info to see what I need to do in order to set this up. Would definitely not recommend this store. The service here is ridiculous. The fact that these teenage children don't do anything and can't do one simple task is beyond me. Karina was the girl who was the registers and said that because if this I "HAD" to ship it out in a specific mailer bag. This is completely a lie since I've been to other UPS stores and mailed out other items in the same envelop and had NO ISSUES AT ALL. Went to this location to send out a very important and expensive package. We paid for them to pack and ship everything for us to ensure it was done efficiently. The package never arrived and the store would not take responsibility for "losing" the package. Called several times to get help, but the managers kept pushing the responsibility over to customer service. No urgency on their end to help or investigate within their own store on the possibilities. Very disappointing and was a total nightmare of an experience. Zero accountability and no empathy whatsoever from management and staff. At this level, the owner should have stepped in to ensure us that they were doing everything they could on their end to help. Sadly, we got hot potato'd to the 800 customer service number. Don't leave your valuable packages with them unless you don't want them to arrive to their destination.
