If you ever have to come to this store, which I would say should NOT be your first choice, the best you can do is have anyone else help you EXCEPT the Asian lady with glasses. I hesitate to return here every time but unfortunately it is the closest location to me. I will start rethinking coming back here since I've been helped by this lady more than 3 times and distinctly remember unpleasant experiences every single time. Today I thought about asking a different employee for help as soon as I got there but thought I'd give her a chance once more. I did not mind staying in line to be helped by another employee because it already looked like she was bothered when she had to come to the register and help people in line. I tried and gave her grace when she called me next up in line and was met with instant regret. Once again, her demeanor was unwelcoming and hostile. She does not seem like she wants to provide any sort of customer service and makes you feel like you are inconveniencing her for showing up to the store. I've read other reviews about her as well and had the same experience when it came to being told to go to the kiosk and figure out my shipment on my own. There should be nothing wrong with customers wanting a live person's support over a computer, that's why I visit storefronts in the first place. I've hesitated to write reviews in the past but also noticed months-old reviews about the same person and the same experience and want to validate that this is still happening to this day. I'm not surprised at the low ratings this location receives, as evidenced by follow-up reviews that report USP's lack of effort and my continued negative experience here. It is important for customers to know about this ongoing problem at this store so they can make an informed decision about using and paying for their services. While all interactions with other employees have been pleasant and should not be discredited, the consistently negative experiences with the lady has ultimately overshadowed my views on this location. read more

I had to return a really large item from Amazon. I went to another UPS location prior to this without the original box, and they told me they cant ship it without its original box. Plus, they didnt have the size box I needed and it would have cost me about $70 to send it. Luckily I did have the box at home. I then came to this location and mentioned that I couldn't fit the rest in the box, so I needed a box to put the remaining items with it to get shipped back. I was willing to pay for the convenience and she recommended a bag instead of a box. It was cheaper. I really do like the service I get when I come to any of these UPS stores. Thank you. read more

So... all the reviews on this store are true... if you have to go to a UPS store, I would just drive a little farther and go to a different location and get treated like an actual human being. BUT, if you do have to come to this one, I hope the worker Hao can help you. I had a somewhat difficult situation and everyone huffed and puffed except for him. He was so kind and didn't make me feel like I was bothering him for being at a public place of business. He explained everything clearly to me with prices and made everything as smooth as he could have working amongst the negative cloud of managers and another employee. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is small and it is located in the back. The worst ups store location/customer service ever. It's apparent that the only lady who works the front picks and chooses who she wants to help. I've been here several times have witnessed her argue back and forth with customers. I've walked in where she's made eye contact with me then proceeds to walk off to do other things when customers are waiting in line. I've gone into the store when it was just only myself and she completely ignored me until I say something first. No smile, no acknowledgement. Sadly this is the closet UPS store near my home but I I avoid coming to this location at all because of the Asian lady who works at the store (see all other one star reviews about this place it's pretty much all about her). I assumed she is a manager because she is always there and whenever I see her working I would just leave, get in my car and drive 3 miles to Alhambra so I can be get some real help without raising my blood pressure. I've heard her told people to go to USPS instead because it's "cheaper" and "faster" at the post office. How can someone like this be in the service industry? I'm not sure. If it wasn't for the convenience of Amazon return I doubt there will be any returned customers after they being "helped" by this particular individual. If you hate your job so much just leave, don't take it out on people. Oh and she gets upset when you refuse to purchase a box for your Amazon return. Brian and Chris were extremely helpful! I had a heavy bed frame I needed help with and they both helped out and made the return so much easier. Returning an Amazon order... My friend in Hawaii had some online purchases mailed to my friend in Los Angeles. She changed her mind about her order, so she wanted some of the items returned. We tried to do the return at Kohl's. However, the return was started with a UPS process, so we had to finish up the transaction through UPS. Craig was nice enough to print out the shipping labels. Tim drove me to Kohl's and to UPS. This was truly a team effort! We found a free 20-minute parking space, on the street, right in front of the store. We walked in and saw many stacks of boxes on the right hand side - wow - looks like they get a lot of returns here! The first guy (an older gentleman) was a bit gruff and passed me off to the younger Asian dude who had the sniffles... haha! This second guy helped me sort through all of the papers and placed the shipping labels into plastic envelopes and stuck them on the tops of the boxes. He gave me a receipt for the transaction and we left! Easy! read more

I called to confirm and this is how it went. "Hi there I was wondering if you had a package under the name ____" Them: "Why would I have a package for that name?" "Well ups said they were delivering it there." Them: "If it says it's delivered then it's delivered" "Can you check for me just to make sure, my tracking hasn't been updating" Them: "No I don't have those resources right now" And then they hung up. Today was the last time I'll come here. There is a reason why this place is so poorly reviewed compared to other UPS stores in the vicinity. I've been going to this location for a couple years for many things including mailbox, amazon returns, notary, etc. There is one major issue with this place and it is the customer service and they suck at it in multiple ways. #1: Lazy Leadership I showed up to a line of 10 people with 1 rep working the counter. It wasn't until a customer was complaining about a label issue that the rep went to the back to find the manager. The manager finally showed up to help the line move. This was after waiting 20 minutes with a line that wasn't moving. #2/#3: No Empathy/ Greedy (Maybe) I complained to the manager of the slow line and lack of customer service. She ignored my complaint and refused to acknowledge it. In addition, she tried to upsell me on my Amazon return and tried to make me pay $2 to buy packaging. I disputed her claim that I needed to purchase it and even showed her my instructions from Amazon. What was the most frustrating was she refused to look at the instructions I had on my phone and show me why I needed to pay the $2. So who is correct? I do not know and honestly that is actually beside the fact. The issue is her lack of customer service ability. Inability to listen to the customer's complaints and a lack of patience to even look at a customer's phone. I had to go here a few weeks ago to send out an eBay package. The drop off was fairly simple, and I was able to buy a box and bubble wrap for not much. I called the next day to ask when packages get shipped out and the lady on the phone was very polite. This UPS is a bit messy as you walk in. Plenty of boxes and packages all over the store with barely any room to really stand. There are place markers on the ground which was a nice jester. As for services at this UPS, the workers had a nice demeanor and all but I just feel like they are just trying to get my money. $2 dollars are printing services for 4 sheets of paper (the minimum) and $1 for tape. I've been to other UPS stores in Rosemead and Alhambra and I know from personal experience that printing did not cost that high. I remember making one copy and it being less than 30 cents per sheet (as I was able to grab some change to pay for it). This store also requires you to bring a box for your belongs that you're returning, when it clearly does not states in the Amazon return that you needed to place it in a box and that the store will do it for you. This UPS is one of the closer ones to my place, but if I need to print anything, I rather just go to another UPS or FedEx where I know I won't get ripped off. read more

This is the worst UPS store I have ever been to. The staffs are always unwelcome and show no interest at working. Since it was close, so I visit to sent and got notarized for documentation. The female staff let me stay waiting forever to get notarized. Even with no customer in line and I was one of the two customer in the store. The lady staff commented on my bulky Amazon return with 2 items saying that Amazon will not refund for together items. She did not know the reason why I have to return my orders. If they don't like to pack or accept bulky item, stop that with Amazon. I was told to dissemble and brought the item to UPS store for pack, print, and label and that's all I can do. read more

This place is a shit hole. But by looking at their overall rating, you could have probably figured it out. I've avoided this place as much as possible but this time, this review needs to be written. The first time I went, the really rude owner, Caucasian older man, glasses and balding was going to make me purchase a box for my Amazon return. I showed them my screen and it did not require it, but he told the associate helping me to charge me. I was about to yell and have a Karen fit, but I decided not to as UPS stores are everywhere. A couple of days ago, this Asian kid named Stephen helped me, not wearing a mask, then got irritated as I had a lot of returns, and the Amazon website was taking a while to load. He made a face as I scrolled on my phone for like 20 to 30 seconds. Meanwhile, customers are coming in, and I looked behind me, and they are lining up outside. I felt bad, and tried to rush. I noticed the older Asian lady, I think the owners wife, also not wearing a mask, just sitting there with a sour puss face, staring at her computer screen. She was too lazy to get off her ass to assist customers, and I notice she always does that, though I go in very seldom. The owner, his wife, (I would write their names but I don't know them) and Stephen work there as though they have sticks up their rear end. I told Stephen he should be wearing a mask, and he tells me, Haha, I know, then goes n puts one on. Ultimately come here if 1. You want to catch Covid 2. You want to be treated like trash. 3. The only reason why I'm giving them two stars instead of one is because the younger girl in the front was so sweet and you can tell if she could she would've helped me. I went to get something notarized and the lady who was suppose to do the notary was sitting down talking to her friend while I stood there waiting for almost 15 minutes. The younger lady even apologized for the notary's actions. And yes, I know it was her friend and not a customer because I could clearly hear their conversation. And yes, the young lady told her in two different occasions that I was there to get something notarized. When she finally finished up her conversation with her friend, she did not even apologize for the hold up and she was even giving me a hard time about being there. She also even almost ruined an official government document when I told her more than 3 times that it was the original copy and she had the audacity to say that it didn't look like an original when it was clearly stamped with a 3D seal. The customer service is atrocious and the other negative reviews are accurate. Last week when I called, the person who answered, hung up on me and was very annoyed to answer my questions. I asked she view the tracking number on the UPS site to help find my package potentially in her store (which indicates my package does not seemed to have been shipped only a label created) - and as though she wanted me to leave her store quick, she repeated that I call Amazon or UPS. Before leaving her store, I politely asked, "aren't you UPS and shouldn't you help locate my package for delivery, which is likely still sitting somewhere in your store?" I would like to leave positive feedback for the amazing employees at this store. Sparing the details, I'll just say that someone has been trying to gain access and remove my access to my own mailbox for months. They have contacted the workers at this store in what could be described IN MY OPINION as badgering, threatening, and being terrible to the staff of this store - even going as far as allegedly threatening to sue the workers for doing their job. Despite this, the staff remained professional and protected their customer's privacy and security. There are not enough praises that I can lavish on these professionals (Lisa is one of them - who I believe deserves a raise for what she has had to take from these people). I am absolutely disgusted that anyone could treat these workers like this. To access anyone else's mailbox with the intent to commit mail theft is a federal crime - Obstruction of Correspondence and Mail Theft - which is up to five years in federal prison and fines up to $250,000. This is why we are all instructed by the USPS to not open misdelivered mail and simply write "return to sender" on the mail, and slip it back into the nearest mail receptacle. I've been coming to my local UPS store for years despite the horrible service but today was the last straw with them. Lisa, the manager, took my packages yesterday morning. I had TWO separate packages from TWO separate orders. When I told her pulled up the QR codes she said she only needed one which I thought was odd since it's two SEPERATE orders annnd for the very fact that I've been going there for years and trusted what Lisa told me. I called 3 times today after checking my Amazon account showing only ONE of the items was refunded because the other one hasn't been processed, WTF? First 2 times, spoke to 2 different gentleman and both gave me the run around saying that the manager would be back a little later. 6:30 pm comes around and I call again. I get told she's not there, but then get a call 10 minutes later. Pointless call, Lisa acted like she never had that conversation with me and that she would never tell a customer that.
