Nia helped me about 4 days ago when I had a lot of questions about sending booklets as well as how to obtain the packaging labels. She gave me plenty of helpful tips and was super kind and sweet. Do not go here! The employees are not trained at all and they mess up on your packages. I sent out my documents through them to USCIS with personal check and these idiots made two labels without my information and provided me with false information next time requesting me to resend my documents. I had to re do everything and send it om urgent basis. After few days, I get to know my first package was never lost and was delivered which costed me twice for application and these people didn't inform me. The worst location I have been to. I've had friendly service in the afternoon. I asked the store clerk, in regards, to faxing paperwork. He said he didn't know what I wanted. I told him, and specified. He went on and continued that he still didn't know what I wanted. He was rude, from the minute I came in. Everything was, "I don't know what you want." Great service and hospitality. I got a paper that I needed to get notarized through USP today and Manju helped me with the paper work. All the staff are really friendly and nice. It was really quick and helpful. The staff know what they have to do get your job done. I appreciate your service. FYI, those who need the notarizatiom service should know what time the service is available. Their hours are slight different than the shipping hours. read more

Poor customer service and rude attitude. We came in for notary need. The Indian lady there was discriminatory towards my 80 year mom. She spoke super fast and do not allow me to translate for my mom who can speak a little English. She didn't want to help us and told us we have to go with someone that speaks our language. They charge for printing out labels, which I understand, but charging $2 minimum to use the computer to print it out? I thought that was a bit ridiculous. Plus fees for every minute, despite if you use the internet or not (the internet speed was horrible, btw). read more

This UPS Store has the BEST customer service I have ever experienced! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. I actually look forward to visiting the store to check my mailbox. The store is organized and neat. One employee taped up a box that I was going to send, but I changed my mind - she was was so gracious and patient. Also, the employees help one another. WARNING ABOUT THIS PLACE and UPS. I recently shipped an expensive gift that was never delivered. It appears that it was stolen. There was never proof of delivery. While staff were nice, and I honestly believe that some were trying to be helpful, the corporate policies and practices of the business take no responsibility for an item that isn't delivered. You're on your own. You're just given the runaround. No refund, no payment for the item that never made it to the recipient who never received the gift for the special occasion. I think their approach is intentional, they know that at some point you just give up because your time is valuable even if it means losing a few hundred bucks. read more

The best service experience at any ups store I have ever been to by far!!! Nia was the most helpful and informative ups representative I had help me ship my personal items. She made sure everything was packed properly and safely ensuring that my package makes it there all in one piece. If only every representative could be like her. I have to say, I am IMPRESSED with the level of professionalism that Manjula and the staffs had provided me and my husband. Prior to the latest encounter, I have come to this UPS store several of times and every time I have left as a happy customer. The staffs are helpful, patient and professional. In the process of getting my items delivered and notarized, they would provide me a list of options that would be the most relevant to me. Dropped off a package and the guy working there couldn't make it more obvious that he just didn't want to be there. I work some weekends too so I get it but could you slap on a smile maybe, or just be a bit friendly in your tone? He was annoyed the barcode on my phone was too small. Then it was too dark. It was short responses with a noticeable hint of DGAF. As long as my package gets to its destination, I really don't care. I don't use UPS enough to complain or rave about them. Shipped out my AT&T Internet Router on 7/28 as I moved from Downtown San jose. The rep working that afternoon wasn't friendly at all.. Just wanted to give a shout out to the helpful staff at the UPS station on 3rd Street in San Jose. After submitting a package for shipment, I went back to the office only to discover I'd mis-configured a piece of equipment in the shipment. Steven at the UPS Store pulled my package, gave me back the equipment and put the rest of the shipment aside until I could return after correcting the problem. He saved me about a week of time where the equipment would have been flying back and forth across the country! Thanks for the great service! read more

While I noticed that the prices are higher than I would normally pay in other places (the USPS flat rate boxes were considerably more expensive than at the post office), the customer service was well worth the trip. Anthony was pleasant, helpful and a pleasure to work with. I would make the trip back down to this location if I needed to send something via UPS. Most of the time, I'm purely drop off. I drop things off every other day on average. It's fine for drop offs. There are times where I have to bring in materials and box it all myself. I purposely buy my box from home depot for 3dollars and they're moving boxes and they're higher quality and extra durable. I buy my own tape and bring it in and use it. The only thing they're getting from me is a drop off. So I don't have conflict with them. However, because I've been coming here for over half a decade, I will say this....management is terrible. I overhear stuff and realise they keep firing or letting go the most competent and capable workers. When they have workers who are too smart for this job, they usually let them go and choose to keep the dimwitted ones who too stupid to argue back with the bosses. Sometimes, I need help with something and the helpful smart workers will help me and they have the best customer services. Within a week later, they don't work there anymore and I overhear them not being kept and were let go. Anyways, I do drop offs elsewhere now. I go to the UPS store near Santana Row. Sharon is a much more professional and efficient owner. She keeps the smart and helpful employees. I like it over there better. Better management. read more
