The staff here is super sweet, it seems to be primarily women who get along with each other and are helpful with customers. I get sticker shock for prices on shipping - but I think that's just how it is these days. The printers seem to be unreliable. It's an easy drop off location for Amazon returns. The staff here is usually very nice and efficient. However, I cannot even enter the store due to the fragrance. They use plugins or something that make the store suffocating and unbearable. My spouse went in to the store last time and I waited in the car because of this and when he came out he smelled like the store! Not sure what scent they are trying to hide but if you have any type of fragrance sensitivity do not even try to enter the store. read more

We've had multiple incidents @ this location...so we stopped going here; but we had a last minute order & Decided to give them a shot...BAD IDEA...needless to say they DENIED taking my packages...while the GRESHAM independent location had ZERO ISSUES With my 7 boxes.... Good customer service goes a long way & I suggest the owners of this business either work with their current employees to correct this or make sure they're hiring staff who actually like their job, as well as the customers they serve. I used to love the store, but since the new owners took over it isn't that great. I've had a couple experiences that I feel like i've just been weird. I sent a fax which cost me $22 which was fine but then I was told that if the line was busy, they would have to charge me $22. Every time they resent it. I was informed they get charged every time they sent it even if it doesn't go through, this does not make sense to me. I have never been charged anywhere when they send a fax and it comes back busy and after resend it. Seems like price gouging. read more

Great place to go when you need to ship something out! Located in a strip mall of businesses next to the Sandy public library. Easy to find and easy to park. I had to ship out a box of my fishing waders, boots, and reels back to home because I caught so much fish I needed to make room in my Pelican box. The nice gal at the counter was super friendly, helpful and helped me select the correct size box. Got my package out quickly and cost efficient. They offer notary, mailboxes, shipping, packing, and FAX services. The gal was super nice to everyone even when she was overwhelmed with lots of people! They were open on the weekend while the post office was closed which helped me make the trip. read more

Best UPS Store experience I have ever had. The owners are very personable and customer oriented not to mention how hard they will work to meet their customers needs and make it as affordable as possible. Lets face it it costs a lot of money to ship nowadays but they will work with you with any concerns you might have to make it economical. Even if I would find a place that was less expensive (I don't know how, shipping is shipping) I would still go to this store just for the customer service. WOW! They charged me an unadvertised $1.50 to use their computer to print my UPS shipping label, when I was shocked at the cost to print 1 page (black and white) they explained they have a $3 fee to 'use their computer' and she was giving me a 'deal'. This is pretty blatant, equivalent of getting charged a $100 for a cup of coffee in a foreign country. Hilariously the customer next to me thought that was a good deal!!! Without notice to box holders, prices were increased on their services. Scanning prices went through the roof from .10 cents a page to .45 cents. I was spending about $100 a week previously as they were locally owned. I will no longer be giving my money and business there since the ownership change. There is also no longer socially distancing markers in place. Machines have been moved putting people right on top of each other if more than one machine is on use for the copiers. read more

called about hour before I showed up to make sure they do notary on an important time limited document . The website says open until 6:00 on the notary page, the lady said yea until 5:15 we do notary . I drove 20 min to get to this location. I get here at 4:40 and the two women said no they stop doing notary at 4:30 . I said I called they said 5:15. They both said they don't know who I spoke w but that's wrong and the lady at the counter who does notary doesn't feel good so she can't do it . I wouldn't have wasted my time , gas. If you want your packages to go "missing" this is the place to go! I challenge you to find another mailbox provider who can match their "package? No, we didn't get that package" rate. For me, it was an ASTOUNDING 33%!!! I've worked with numerous delivery services and mailbox providers before. Most have not lost/stolen a single one of my packages. The highest lost/stolen rate I've ever encountered with anyone else is definitely less than 5%. But somehow UPS Sandy went OVER 30%. I could hardly be more impressed. I wish I could have continued to pay for the privilege of having my packages lost/stolen by UPS Sandy. I do REALLY want to find out if they can go over 50%. Perhaps one of you wonderful readers could pay them for awhile and report back to me on your lost/stolen rate. Unfortunately, I no longer have need of a mail service dedicated to losing/stealing my packages. My needs have changed and I now require my packages to come into my possession. Sadly, I will no longer feel the thrill of driving to UPS Sandy to find out if they will give me my package, nor the joy of hearing "package? No, we didn't get that package." Maybe my needs will change again. I hope so. Because if I ever again need to pay someone to lose/steal my packages, I KNOW where to go. And, now, SO DO YOU! (I can already hear you asking a vital question. "Are you SURE it was UPS Sandy who was responsible for such a high lost/stolen rate?" Believe me, I don't want to steer you wrong when looking for a solution to ENSURE that your packages will be lost/stolen. I must confess I do have a tiny, mustard-seed size soupçon of doubt as to whether UPS Sandy deserves ALL the credit. All I can say is that based on the competence and concern demonstrated by other chains in the delivery process and the lack of competence or concern demonstrated by staff at UPS Sandy as well as actual evidence, records and testimony, I am 99.999% sure that UPS Sandy deserves full credit. I am sorry if I'm neglecting to give due credit to USPS, FedEx, or UPS outside the Sandy location. Perhaps they provided valuable assistance to UPS Sandy in achieving such an impressive lost/stolen rate. But there's simply NO WAY any of those other entities could have achieved this on their own. ONLY UPS Sandy could possibly have been solely responsible for this achievement. Hope that answers that important question!) read more

I've been a box holder here for several years and was always very happy with the service. Unfortunately, since an ownership change a couple months ago, I've had several issues, the most serious of which was a missing package containing 3 months of prescription medication that was ultimately located over a week later "in the wrong bin" at the store. I've spoken with the new owner several times now. She could not assure me these issues wouldn't continue and overall, I got the sense she didn't care. read more

Was in Welches, OR for a family getaway and my mother, sister and I accumulated quite a load of clothes and items while on vacation and needed to ship some items back home. We'd figure the cost to ship would be expensive as we were staying at a nearby resort and noticed that everything was inflated--so we anticipated ridiculous shipping charges. Right away we were greeted by a gentlemen that must've owned or managed the store. He had great energy, saw our load, and assured us he could Help. He was extremely personable and took us to the back of the store where we divided our respective items to be shipped to our homes. He was swift and economical as he found ways to reduce the size and price of our package since we had ALOT of stuff. When I say a lot, I mean an egregious amount. Another younger gentlemen whom I assume to be his son helped to ring us up, he was as personable and friendly as his father, moreover they were very patient with us and got us out in a timely matter. Essentially, the price was great for packing and shipping not to mention the invaluable cost of great customer service. Too bad I don't live in the area or this would be my go to UPS spot. read more

The owner and his son were very speedy and helpful, they wrapped the laptop extensively to ensure no damage from water or handling routine occurr. I ordered a package of 20pc 12 inch wood rounds from Amazon. The driver delivered them to the house next door to my neighbor. She ended up taking the package to this store and told them that it was delivered to the wrong address. This store has a contract to take returns for Amazon. The Female attendant opened the package (in front of the neighbor) and told her that they couldn't send it back and that She would just keep them because she does door hangings. I called the store after I had spoke to the neighbor, and the lady said " oh, ya.....uh we threw those away". And when I asked to speak to a manger she told me that they did not have any store mangers and that it was run through a corporate thing. I call the UPS HR number and the gentleman that I spoke with informed me that every store does have a manger, and that it work as a Franchise. He said she told me that because she knew that she messed up. Needless to say, I wont be using them again and will be spreading the word all over Sandy, OR! This was not a porch pirate, it was supposed to be someone that we could trust with our Packages, Greeting cards and more importantly Checks! This Woman Stole my wood Rounds from a trusted store. I was stressed out about shipping a large expensive package. After being very patient with me on the phone and my 20 questions, John, the owner, really went above and beyond when I brought in my item to ship (a 4 piece drums set and stands). His confidence and expertise put me at ease, and he even let me help a little bit in the back room while he got the drums ready to ship in bubble wrap etc. (Hey where's my name tag? haha!!). Anyway, we were able to get it shipped for well under what we originally thought it was going to cost, and I can't thank him enough!! Huuuuuuge load off my shoulders and a stress free transaction.
