I love this location. I've used multiple Postal Annex locations depending on where I'm living. I've been using this one for almost 10 years. I've had a PO Box with them for many years. I've forgotten to renew on time a few times and they were incredibly nice and helpful. I drop packages off for my small business and they are always very kind and upbeat. When I come in they great me by name and will ask how I am or how business is going. I don't often receive mail as it's mainly for return address but if I do happen to get something they always let me know since I don't ever check the box since I'm never expecting anything. They've never made me feel like an inconvenience or that I was taking up their time. If anything they've gone above and beyond with customer service and making me feel welcome. Every time I go in, they're super rude and act like they hate their job. Today was the last time I'll go in. Zero customer service.

cashier refused to do a 00 label on a certified letter that already had postage. Refused to do certified unless it all over again.

I have been using this Postal Annex now for more than one year. They go way above and beyond and have been super helpful for me. I moved to Portugal earlier this year, and they have been receiving and handling my personal and business mail for me ever since. If I need Linda to open, scan, and email me something, or if I need her to forward something to a friend or family member, she does that quickly and cheerfully. She's cheerful, creative, and is always willing to help me out. I am so grateful and would give a 10-star review if it were possible. read more

I'm in and out within a few minutes even with a long line. They're always willing to answer any questions and have a cheery attitude. I love that they're right in the plaza so I can stop by and drop off my packages on my way to Safeway! --UPDATE-- These guys are STILL the best! Pat and the employees are so quick to get the line going (when there happens to be one.) I'm here so often so they know me by name by now. The place always smells amazing and they have the coolest keychains/accessories to look at or purchase while you wait. I wouldn't go anywhere else but here for your needs. Recommend 10/10! read more

It saves me a trip out there if I am just waiting on a paper check to arrive. Kelly is especially wonderful - she is always kind and has a sense of humor. I've been living in happy valley for a short amount of time. I've used this place on about 4-5 occasions. Everyone has been so sweet, but I got a bad apple today. Guy was mid 40's, tall and skinny. I really have no words, this guy was so angry. He went on a rant how it's not his job to ship things for people to make money on (eBay, offer up, stockx and other consignment sites). So, if someone is shipping a personal item it's okay? It's not okay for your community to make money and stimulate happy valleys economy? There was a gentleman in his 20's working there, I was very happy to see how he treated the customer to my left. Sadly, I was 2 minutes too late for his line . I could go deeper into this, but i wouldn't want someone like this working for me or working in my community for that matter. He needs a reality check. I use to enjoy coming to this location. The staff is friendly and accommodating except the owner. Yes unfriendly and changes his "rules" continually and unexpectedly. I would drop off usps packages there all the time and get a proof of drop off receipt all the time. I know not all postal annexes would do this but that's why I'd come to this one. Now the manager says that he's liable for the packages if they don't get scanned. Hmm. Well that's why the customer gets a proof of drop off receipt. I think he doesn't want to waste his paper on people who don't buy products from him and are just dropping off stuff. I'll buy my stamps and take my business elsewhere. Still doesn't change the fact of the rudeness and talking down to me like I'm a little kid. You guys use to do it. So don't tell me you guys never did and to tell me i don't know what I'm talking about. I use come in all the time. Met a lot of the friendly co-Worker's which i don't see anymore. That's too bad. I think one mentioned he was working for Nike as well. Anyways, I've had my packages not scan before but when I show the proof of Drop off it worked out well for me. So why is it that you giver receipts for UPS? And even at USPS locations they forget to scan items as well. And I've asked and they said as long as you have that receipt that shows delivery of drop off the company usually will take care of it. Anyways, I get the point but there's nicer ways to talk to someone. Especially to your loyal customers. read more

You can buy stamps and mail things, but you'll pay a hefty surcharge for the convenience. You can also get a mailbox but it is tiny. We did not find the staff to be particularly pleasant or helpful. Sometimes going to the USPS is a necessary evil, but I prefer it to indifferent customer service and surcharges. read more

Just Fine. Got done what I needed. Probably pricey, under three bucks. An annoying woman ahead of me was asking the clerk a lot of questions and was worried about HOOOOOOW LONG I was going to be waiting to mail something simple. It was great, got in and out. Clerk was nice. read more

After not doing any business with them for 10ish months, they called me out of the blue to inform me I had a package.... twice! My brain-dead sister sent me Xmas gifts from Amazon and did not update my address. They held my stuff for me rather than just refusing delivery or sending it back. Awesome service when I had a box there and just all-around great folks working there. read more

I was so glad that I get to post a review for this business! Have always came here to send packages, domestically or internationally. Now I don't know much about the price difference between this place and a regular post office, but the convenience of the location really does it for me. I don't mind paying slightly more for that. Additionally, here's my shout to this lady who was working this morning (I couldn't find her name tag to acknowledge her openly). I was mailing a package of returning items to an online store today. When I asked to include a tracking number on the package, as the website has suggested, the total ended up to be more pricey than I thought. Changed my mind about doing tracking number, then the lady who was helping me suggested the priority mailer option - which is 4 dollars cheaper, and includes a tracking number. It was a simple gesture to help me save more, but she really didn't have to do that. I wouldn't have known about this option if she didn't bring it up. This, for me, is a great example of quality customer service. Instead of pushing for me to pay more, she sincerely offered me a more affordable and reasonable option. It totally made my day. Sent numerous packages through them and have never had a problem. Everyone is always super friendly, and I've never waited in a long dreaded line like at the post office. I've also had copies of keys done here & bought stamps. Conveniently located next to Safeway so you can get multiple errands done in one spot. read more

I brought in a picture to wrap & send to Maui, HI. I told the clerk there was no hurry, and I wanted it to be the cheapest way it could be sent. He told me it would be $125. I said that was the absolute cheapest?.....and he said "YES". So, I paid it....$132.79 total. When I got home & showed my husband.....he said it was being sent by 2 day priority. He looked up the postal rates, and it could have been sent at regular shipping for much, much, much less. We weren't going to even be in Maui for 7 days. So, I had to make special arrangements to have someone pick it up from our condo. I am so angry....and I feel totally taken advantage of. I will NEVER use them to ship anything again. I should have just taken my package to the post office, but didn't. read more

Great service! My family has been coming here for years and the staff is friendly and do their best to help you find the best option for your shipping needs. Definitely will be coming back to open a box there so they can keep my packages for me, so I don't have to risk them being stolen of off my doorstep, which has happened before. I didn't really have much business to conduct here. I do like hang this rather than the USPS due to being local and non government ran. I just had a free postage return box to give to them. Inconsistent, poorly trained employees. I expect to pay the convenience fees but not the stuff they make up as they go along. Two bad experiences: first where they sold me services that I did not ask for and were more expensive, like a flat-rate envelope when I had already purchased and packaged my own envelope, or second, when they tried to charge me fees that should not have applied, like changing it from first-class to parcel because of an envelope flexibility rule which is only supposed to be for large-sized envelopes, not small white envelopes. I was ready to pay the proper non-machinable fee. Be prepared to be ripped off if you don't have all the postal prices, rules, and regulations memorized to protect yourself. $80 for an overnight letter to chicago - UPS next day air saver rate. I was in a rush so I did it, but I thought it was high. Back at home I called a UPS store and they said the rate is $60. I called back to Postal Annex and they said they have a surcharge. I'll say! read more

Staff isn't friendly. Not even the owner. Our mail gets put in someone elses box often, and other peoples mail gets put in my box often. This Postal Annex does not reassure my worries about I.D. theft. I have gotten sent a package, I gave them my first name, and my box number, and they just gave me the box and didn't I.D. me or anything. Horrible. read more
