If I could give ZERO STARS, I absolutely would. Avoid this UPS Store like the plague--especially for Amazon returns. Amazon doesn't process your refund until they receive the item. Sounds simple, right? Not here. When I dropped off my return, the clerk did NOT automatically give me a receipt with the UPS tracking number. What they hand you by default is just a receipt with an Amazon reference number--not an actual UPS tracking number. I had to explicitly ask for a real receipt that included both the tracking number and a description of the returned item. If I hadn't pushed for that, I'd have had no way to track the return or prove what was dropped off. And it gets worse. I was never told that this location does NOT ship out Amazon returns right away. Instead, they toss them in a bin and let them sit there until it's full--however long that takes. That delay? Not disclosed. Not even mentioned. If I hadn't asked for that tracking number, I would've been completely in the dark. Fast forward FOUR days later--Amazon still hadn't received my item. I check the tracking: Item labeled. Not shipped. So I go back to the store, and that's when the nonsense really begins. The clerk actually denied that the number on my receipt was a UPS tracking number--even though it's printed right there on their own store receipt, under "UPS Tracking #." I showed it to her. Clear as day. Still, she kept insisting it was just an "Amazon reference number" and told me to "call Amazon." Excuse me? You're holding a receipt from your own system and you're still trying to gaslight me? Eventually, she admits the package had just gone out. Yep--four days later. And here's the kicker: they told me returns are ranked by importance, and "red" means it's a high-priority return. Mine was placed in the red bin. This is how they treat important returns?! Sitting in a bin for four days while customers wait for refunds? I told her this kind of delay should be disclosed up front--especially since Amazon won't issue a refund until they receive the item. I felt she couldn't have cared less. Her response? "Well, you can always go to another store." Oh, I will. And I'll make sure everyone else knows to avoid this place AND OTHER UPS STORES too. Never again will I trust this location with an Amazon return--or anything else. If this is how they handle "important" returns, I don't want to know what happens to the rest. Take your business elsewhere. You've been warned. read more

Walked in with a heavy boxed tool to return from Amazon. The return label had to be printed. The girl working the counter told me it would be $3 just to print a single piece of paper. When I told her that that is ridiculous, she stated she is being nice because if the owner was there they would charge an additional $0.30 per page. The guy worked with her made a smart comment, and smirked, and said he'd tape it on the packed for free. This isn't about the money, but the blatant level of disrespect and particularly improper training and blatant mocking of the customer. I've been in here a multitude of times. The workers are always very nice, and happy to help me with anything I bring in. Easy to find, large parking lot next to CVS and Aldi. I'm going to write an update to the prior review. We ordered something off Amazon warehouse that no lie the box came duct tapped. It turned out a piece was missing so we returned to Amazon through UPS store. I walked in and told the employee the story, he didn't care and said bring it in. So we did and when he said did they give you a code, I pulled it up and he said we need to have a printed copy of the return...(Amazon stated print it in if you don't have a printer and UPS will handle). I told the guy, no we don't have a printer, he just looked at me and shrugged....really....great customer service. When I pressed and asked him for options he said "you can email it to us", what was the email address...? "he just says it's on the counter and walked off" So we emailed it and waited for Mr. Customer Service to come back up and print it out and tell us that would be $1.30...presumidly for the printing...whatever. I can't wait for Kohls to open back up...I won't go to this location again...! read more

Gabe is an absolute gem! I ship via UPS fairly frequently for my small business and this location hits different thanks to Gabe. I have seen so many of his interactions with other customers and he is always an absolute delight. Interestingly enough, he was one of the first people that I told when I found out I had cancer and now every time he sees me and asks how I'm doing I can tell he actually cares. I cannot attest to their competence in mail services but their passport photo taking skills are awful. I needed passport photos taken for my family of five. We thought about taking them ourselves but there are some requirements (and the #1 reason a passport application is denied is due to the photograph not passing muster), so we decided to let a "professional" (as in someone who gets paid to perform a service) do them. We went down to the UPS Store in the Orchard Village Plaza, where they had two guys working. The first guy took our pictures and handed off the duty to the other guy (whom I had the impression of that he was a little more experienced with it). We all had our pictures taken, went and did a little shopping at Aldi, went back and picked up the photos and were on our way. We had a 1:00 appointment for my wife and 3 children and a 3:00 appointment for myself at the Jo Anne Darcy Library in Canyon Country so we took separate vehicles so they didn't have to wait for me. Out of the five photos only one was "good" (barely). One was probably ok (we might have to resubmit) and the other 3 were nowhere near passing. They were all too small. The library had this neat little clear plastic guide that looks like the picture below but is clear so you just put it over the photo to see if it's in specs. When they handed the photos back to me I discovered our photo holders had the same behind the photos. So we get my wife's and daughter's applications submitted and I take myself, my son, and other daughter to get a redo on the photos so we can go back at 3:00 (the very nice folks at the library were letting them piggyback on my single appointment). The guy takes our photos again and makes little comments about them (the library staff) were just being picky but I just let it slide. I have an appointment in a little while and just want to get it done. So, the pics get printed, he brings them to me and they just look too big. I'm talking to the guy and he's telling me they are fine, they want them big and he personally thought the other ones were a little small when he was printing them earlier. I'm still not convinced so I take pictures and email them to the library staff (we had been emailing back and forth earlier). I try to get a hold of the guy but he is in a meeting. As I'm not getting anywhere with the UPS store guy (he actually told me if I had to bring them back he would burn the store down for me) I decide to just start back over to Canyon Country. My wife was going to meet us there (both parents are required to be present for a childs passport app). I get over by Kohls (having my son keep an eye on my email in case we get a response) when they respond with that they are most likely too big. As I don't have time to go back, get ANOTHER set taken and make it by 3:00 I just go back to the UPS store to get a refund for the three. They were willing to take the photos again but by this time I'm done with them. I was a little rude pointing out how it wasn't rocket science and there is even a guide all you have to do is make sure the photo is in between the two ovals. The guy even blames their crappy little digital camera at one point. He told me he's been doing this for three years, to which I reply that it doesn't matter how long he's been doing it if he can't get it right. They refused to give me a refund, I did a credit card dispute (we'll see what happens there). This message is for the owner. You have two very friendly guys working there but they don't take anything seriously. They treat that store like they have watched the movie "Clerks" too many times. Their little Star Wars Legos on the shelf are cute and all but they need to grow up. This was my only day off for 13 days and your employees wasted a large part of it with their incompetence. And, please buy them that nifty little clear plastic guide before they ruin someone else's day. read more

I do Amazon returns here weekly and the guys are always super courteous but they have been high as a kite every time I come in and the place reeks of pot. They try to mask it with air fresheners but the glazed eyes and the slowness of the employees, not to mention the overwhelming stench of weed is just really unprofessional. read more

Do not get your fingerprints here. I came here to get fingerprints and I was thrown on to a machine to do it myself and by the time I was done it had been over an hour. I then received an email that the prints were not valid. The guy there said that they can't help you with it and I ended up going to another spot where the owner had me in and out in 5 min! I am not a regular to shipping things out - use to use my office but now I work remote - so I went to this UPS. I tentatively asked if the person could help me with packing, labeling and shipping and to also be cost conscience to send some items out for the holidays. The guy working (was on 12/9/23) was so awesome. He packed and labeled and shipped my items like a pro. Such a nice experience and I will forever be grateful for UPS and him to not making this difficult and expensive. Every time I come in here the staff is so kind. So this post is long overdue. The staff here is very personable. Some have a great sense of humor to keep the mood light. Yes, there are times you have to wait in line, but when it's my turn it's great that I'm given the time and attention for each transaction. Today, I'd like to compliment Dustin. He was multitasking with the customer ahead of me who had issues with her charge card, answering the phone and helping me with my Amazon returns and suggesting where I can purchase a canister to mail a poster. Gabriel is the worsts employee every company could have. He's extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. I scheduled for a shredding service. They were trying to push me to leave my 20lbs of very important documents for them to do later! instead of shredding them myself. He lied in my face and denied it later!!! The store policy sign wasn't there when I asked him about it and he brought one from back and put it there in front of my face and told me it was there. I read on Yelp and Google before about this store and what they do (watch) at back office but didn't care until now. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS UPS STORE!!! Or maybe it's time to use FedEx since they're super nice people in every FedEx store. I shipped a large framed picture from this store to myself in Nashville while visiting family in September '18. It was carefully packed in a heavily padded and purpose-built picture box from U-Haul. The box arrived heavily damaged. One corner of the box was collapsed, and the package was full of broken glass and shattered styrofoam. The frame and picture were both damaged beyond repair. I spoke with Casey at this UPS Store location by phone, and sent him photos as requested. Someone at the store responded by e-mail. They wrote that they were initiating a claim process, would update me, and were going to try to get me my money back. It's been almost six months. I've reached out to them repeatedly, and haven't received any response. All I want is a refund for shipping costs, and I can't get anyone to talk to me about it. read more

Had a package I dropped off to be packaged and shipped waited on a call never recieved so I sent my wife in and she was verbally and almost to the point physically abused before being told to F off and leave cause I don't like you. As my wife leaves the young boy follows her outside and calls her a fing c--- tried to deal with this with Casey who supposedly is the owner that got no where so I figured all respecting people out her should know about the service or lack there of that this business gives. My favorite UPS store. Very friendly, helpful and quick. The young gentleman who is always there - seems to be the store manager - with a smile on his face is very helpful, knowledgeable and trusty. I usually drop 10 to 50 cases - I don't wait for a receipt if they're busy - and never had any issue with my outbound shipments shipped through this UPS store. I came here to get a mailbox set up. Casey was helping some other customers before me but as they looked up all the info they needed, he got me going on my paperwork. I thought the whole process was painless and I was excited to get a box at the top. Mailboxes require at least 3 months of payment up front so if you're thinking about getting one - keep that in mind. read more

Tried to ship back a chair we bought today but I did not know how to take the base apart to fit it back in the box. I was told I could just take it in and they will figure out how to box it. From the first moment I walked into the store the helper was a total DICK! after a couple of minutes of attitude I said "boy your in a good mood today" that was that and it ended in a screaming match. Please be aware of this store and its employee. On Sat Sep 21, 2019 I took some old hard drives and enclosures to my sister in Canada. I mentioned to clerk I would like to send these as less expensive as possible. He said, it is better to go US post office, if I need it to be less expensive. I agreed to go with UPS. He put my stuff in the scale and mentioned that it would cost me $230.00 I agreed. He presented me with a invoice which indicated the value of my old items to be $750.00 I politely asked him to change that amount since it was not true. I told him more than three times that these items are used and re-furbished and do not even cost $30.00 He kept saying no to worry and it is the UPS computer which is forcing him to put $750.00 Since, I know thee was something wrong and I asked him to cancel the transaction. I also told him that his very rude and not customer friendly. He threaten to call the Police and ask me to leave the store. I would never ever do business with dishonest and fraudulent people and would like to ask everyone to be careful when shipping your items through this store. I even called the manager and complained and he did not apologize at all. I filed a complaint with UPS customer care as well. read more

I was just here to get a document notarized and when I came in there was no other customers inside besides me and the employee working there tells me to wait a moment because he needs to call the police. He tried to call the police on a lady in front of the store who appeared to be homeless, asking them to come remove her from being near the store saying she was going through the trash to which the police politely told him that they could not help him and come remove her because she was not in the store or doing anything wrong. The lady was minding her business and on top of that, she was a customer!!!!! He mistook her for going through the trash when in fact she was going through her own documents in front of the store before coming inside as a customer. I am surprised she still came inside to conduct business after he so rudely went outside and told her she couldn't stand in front of the store not knowing she was a customer...... horrible dehumanizing treatment I left after seeing how horrible he treated her. So entitled. Never visiting this UPS store again in my life do not come here if you have any sense of humanity or empathy.. if I could give zero stars I would. I was treated with utter distain, shocking rudeness and unprofessionalism when UPS lost my daughter's birthday package and I was trying to figure out what to do next.. Nobody cared, nobody called me back after an investigation was opened to try to find the package or determine if package was delivered. Nobody gave a damn. I had no option but to keep calling back every week to find out what the investigation revealed and what I should do next. They kept kicking the can down the road asking me to call back. The investigation was closed on 3/31 yet today (4/13) I still had not been contacted. I was told that the store didn't know the investigation had been closed and apparently didn't look when I called. I was so upset that I had been calling in vain and when I started to ask questions, I was told to stop harassing them and they hung up on me. When I went to the store, they called the police.........what? really? The manager, Casey, finally called me back and left a message but when I called him back to try to speak with a "human" about my issue, he never spoke to me on a human level. This is shocking and unacceptable behavior. I pray the UPS Store Orchard Village and the UPS Store The Old Road loose all of their customers and close. They don't deserve to remain open. read more

this store is terrible, in my line of work i ship many packages, until going to this UPS store#6842 I have always had great service. at this store it is apparent that a family purchased this business so there kids had a job. no one seems to know what to do and have caused me major problems in my business. I also have a AMX business card that I need to use and it's a crapshoot if their system will take it. Iwould give them 0 stars if it was my honest ratting. Can't even believe I'm giving them 1 star. Literally the worst customer service I've ever seen. Employee offered to make double sided copies for me but ruined my order and blamed me rather than check his work, adjust and handle it. Then tried to charge me for his mistake. He asked me to never come back. Wow! Just so sad that a good company has hired such poor employees. I would recommend driving a bit further to the next printing option. read more
