Cory was really super helpful. We had some stuff we needed printed, and our printer was out of ink. Also, we had a couple of textbooks we had rented that we needed to package and ship back. He was really efficient and nice, and he even told us about a packaging option that would save us a few bucks. Then he offered to package our books up for us. We were in and out of there way faster than we imagined, for cheaper and with excellent service. I did not expect to be writing a review after a trip to a UPS store. Awesome customer service! Came here twice to get some stuff printed. The first time I came in, the colored printer will not work for some reason. The girl did everything she can and did not show any frustration. We ended up using the b&w which turned out fine. I believe the girl that helped me was Brittany. The 2nd time I came, it was 10 minutes before they close. This time it was Jason. He told me don't worry about it and did not rush me at all. He even helped me align the favor tags that I needed to print! I'm all about customer service and these guys sure knows how to so that! Kudos to both of them! read more

This place is amazing. Haven't gone to the post office in years this is the only place to go. Stopped in yesterday to mail a package. The line was long and there was only one girl working . She literally serviced two and three customers at a time very efficiently and very quickly. Her name was Brandy. I asked what her name was because I was so impressed with how quick she got everyone out. I'm in the service business so i like to give credit where it's due..So many times I've stood in line at the post office during the holidays and only 1 or 2 employees working at a slow pace with no concern for stepping it up to get people moving..This place is a hidden treasure and great alternative for all your postal and shipping needs. read more

I needed something notarized and looked on line. Found 2 places that advertised notary service. First I went to opened 10 minutes late, and when I advised what I needed they advised me she never comes in before 1:00 pm. Please put this on your website. Second one was The UPS Store in Santee. Brenda provided outstanding service even thought I was not happy when advised that the form I had from the financial institution from out of state did not meet California standards and had to have a supplemental document but they could not notarize the actual document. Why does California make it so hard to do business? Anyway I was a little frustrated but not with Brenda she was outstanding and so was the Santee location. Needless to say I have provided my feedback to my elected representatives, because you cant expect a business to have 50 different forms to satisfy every state. This store is top notch. I was sending a package of great sentimental value and importance to me, and the store personnel helped me figure out the best way to send and insure my package. Unfortunately, it got lost in customs and I was very nervous about retrieving my package or at the very last getting the ensured value of it back. Throughout the process, the owner of the store was very prompt in his communications with me, and empathetic to the problem. Stop by today to ship some packages for my customers was met by Brenda who was very rude and less than friendly never had a problem until now. I am use to great customer service all the time. I informed her that I normally get an AAA discount that has always been honored she insisted on seeing my card of which I did not have in my wallet at the time then I inquired about peanut foam for my package she told me that it would be $8.00 ok..and then I said excuse me $8.00 for.what.. I am thinking all the times that I have ever come here I was never told about a fee to basically pour a small amount of peanut foam into my box...wow! what a RIPOFF! I was soooo disappointed and put off by her UTTER rudeness... ...even told her that...and BRENDA never apologize not once at all.. if she is the manager on duty she is only title hungry and not interested in the customer. ..she then said with a matter of fact attitude ...well you can buy a bag of peanut foam and do it yourself.......she then went on to state that her manager has informed her thatt the store was giving away to many discounts...I thought discounts = customer loyalty...but rather her not honoring my AAA discount = disloyalty and loss of business..in my opinion ... ..for sure I took the business owner card not hers that she offered I mean why would I call her to further insult me...well I informed Greg the owner I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK AND WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE..even if I have to drive the distance into SAN DIEGO at my favorite UPS store...whereby for the past year I never had a problem, they always honored my AAA discount......and during XMAS season..they literally gave me extra boxes left over by customers..and did not charge..WOW!...its these little unexpected thoughtful things that say I matter as a business owner...and as such I will never pay for RUDENESS. ...Bernie B read more

Walked in on 9/17/18 to have a package shipped that contained important military medical records that needed to be sent to an Attorney in New Jersey. I was taken care of by Cam, who I feel does an excellent job. The expected delivery date was 9/21/18. I started tracking the shipment on 9/20 and started to be alarmed that it said the package was still at the UPS store and had not been picked up by UPS. I kept tracking the package, and it kept saying the same thing. On 9/21 I contacted UPS and explained the situation to them and they seem to be concerned, but since I went thru a UPS store there hands were tied. I watched and tracked the package over the weekend, and it always said the same thing. Ready for pickup by UPS. Finally on 9/24 I went back to the UPS store and explained to the Manager my concerns, and how important it was to have the package delivered on the expected delivery date. After speaking with the Manager and getting a lot of round about answers, I finally said to her " I want you to file an investigation on this as soon as possible". I didn't appreciate her excuses of what might have happened or what she thought could of happened, I just wanted to know what really happened. Upon following up with the tracking number I saw that they initiated an investigation, so I waited to hear from someone. On the 4th. of October I was in the same shopping center as the UPS store, doing some shopping and walked in and Cam and the Manager were in there and I asked them if they remembered me. Cam said right away "hello Mr. Ross" but the Manager looked kind of startled. I asked her had she heard anything back from UPS and she said no, but we should in a few days. Well today is 10/7/18 and I'm a little tired of wondering what really happened and who dropped the ball. After waiting over two weeks from the date of my first concern, I would think that I should of have some type of follow up conversation. As of this date I have put in a dispute on my credit card do to me not getting a service that I have paid for. Very poor customer service and very poor follow up skills by the Manager. I hope that the owner would contact me so he would understand my concerns and my frustration for spending so much time on the phone with UPS, the UPS store, and the Attorneys office. The only reason I gave them one star is I feel that Cam did a fine job. read more

I came to this store a couple weeks ago and needed to ship a significant amount of things back home to the east coast. My husband and I were vacationing in CA from Ma and due to the strict baggage weight guidelines, we knew the airlines would not accommodate the stuff we had bought while enjoying our trip to this gorgeous state. We probably looked a bit lost when we entered the store, but were immediately greeted from a nice young employee. Cory was quite informative about different options when it came to package weight, size, insurance options and arrival times and helped us decide what the best choice would be for our needs. Some retail stores have very pushy, rude sales people who have selfish motives and always try to get the customer to spend the highest amount possible. This was definitely not the case here. I was shocked to learn that Cory himself is from MA because he has a very laid-back, surfer, artsy style to him that makes the customer feel at ease and comfortable. We could tell he wanted us to feel confidant that our souvenirs were going to make it home safely and conclude our marvelous vacation to CA on a high note. If wonderful customer service is what the UPS store is going for, then well done! read more

I went to Office Depot and they were not helpful at all with options, prices, layout etc. It was like pulling teeth and the price was unbelievably expensive for what they offered. I decided to go to the UPS Store in Santee. They were so friendly and helpful. Brenda P and Casper L jumped thru hoops to help me get them printed and done within 30 minutes of my arrival to their store. Their price was 1/3 that of Office Depot. I had to mail a package and decided to drop into this UPS location. While I was getting my return tag, Brenda asked if we were in need of any personalized printing for our business. I wasn't but asked her a little about it anyway. She showed me an example of their quality and told me about what they could do. Also gave a rough idea of fees for business cards and some triplicate sheets we use. The prices were about half of what we were paying and the quality was by far greater. I decided to give it a try and Brenda designed our card and forms, making some very slight yet important changes to our existing cards. ABSOLUTELY beat our current business cards, not only in paper quality but the colors used were vibrant, clear and more true to what we originally were looking for. We got personalized service and she even followed up to make sure it was what we were looking for. Brenda, you were a pleasure to work with and thank you for taking the time to show me all that you offered. I have to say, I didn't believe it would be as good as what we had for the price offered, but you now have a long term customer for printing as well as shipping. I love coming here always great service, UPS Corporate on the other hand another story, I had a Christmas package that was damaged and not delivered. I put in a claim and yes I had a small bottle of liquor in it. they trashed everything the cards, family pictures and gifts that were inside the package. No pictures were taken no verification it was truly damaged or ???? I don't know if item were just stolen or what really happened. I cannot even get the money I spent to ship it returned. When I put in the claim they asked how much was the items worth and how much was the liquor, no mention that it would be denied due to there being a bottle in there, they knew it was in there when they packaged my Christmas items in the box at the store. Now they will not return my money at least??/ BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is truly sad when you cannot even ship loved ones presents that are in the military and not know what truly happened and get ripped in the process, only one on top is UPS read more
