I guess I hadn't realized how much simple name badges had gone up in price since purchasing several years ago. I remember the last time I purchased from a company that was local and unfortunately owners have retired, so that's no longer business option. Previously badges were between eight and $10, today the estimate was around $22 apiece. Now that's quite an uptick, especially for a nonprofit, to be coming up with for 13 badges. i went ahead and placed the order, because we do need the badges. This location is smaller than the other standalone locations, however, it still has everything you need in a FedEx Office Print & Ship Center, including workstations if you need a space to use your laptop, etc. I've used a workstation several times and it's met my needs - there is a bottle of hand sanitizer, cube of outlets if you need to plug in a laptop or other device, and a printer for your printing needs. Of course, if you need to fax something or have a print job, shipping and packing, etc., you have to go to the counter. Another thing I like about this location is that its supplies are usually stocked up, so I am able to grab what I need when I leave the store. My line of work requires that I use the padded paks with the pouch for the shipping label, and this is the only location that almost always (98% of the time) has those available (and I've been to the other area FedEx Office Print & Ship Centers on a regular basis, so I do know). I understand that this may not be important to most people, but it is for me in my line of work, so I appreciate it!

I needed printing and some simple design services, because I do not own photoshop or other design software. Gary, the owner, quickly responded with a very reasonable quote, and after several emails back and forth to finalize a proof I was able to pickup my final product from the MidTown Printing office by the end of February. Gary was very honest about the timeline and genuinely apologetic when there was even the slightest delay in our artwork curation. I had gotten a jumpstart on the save-the-dates pretty early, because I was very particular about having a postcard that looked exactly the way I wanted! I was able to easily send Gary all of the components of what I wanted the postcard to look like--front picture, back styling, text and fonts for front and back--and he was able to combine all of my elements together to create a few proofs. I was able to request major and minor tweaks to the proof until I had the save-the-date postcard of my dreams. Luckily for Gary we had the winner after only 5 iterations. The finished product was beautiful! Gary's craftsmanship as well as his easy going demeanor throughout the entire process was impressive.
