I have come here periodically to mail things that need to go UPS. While I prefer the United States post office for most things I need to send, I needed to come here for various things that require UPS If there is a wait... It is always very short. They pay attention to arrival so that someone else comes out to help if need be. Always courteous, always efficient. I like the people that work here. read more

I have been going to this store for the last four years. The service has been personal (Matt always greets me by name), friendly, and always helpful. Questions answered even when a madhouse. UPS stores generally are well-run and this is an outstanding example of that. I am surprised there are any negative comments for this place - I really have seldom found businesses run better. I visited this store on 10/31 and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. The two men working were so kind, helpful, caring, and went out of their way providing above average customer service to everyone (offering to help carry items inside, opening the door for people, helping an elderly woman to her car in the rain) - to name a few things. I was in a rush trying to make a flight and brought in a mess of old photo albums and awards. After paying they assured me they'd finish taping up my package before sending it out. I received my package yesterday and the two men had put all my photo albums into plastic bags so they wouldn't get wet, and packed the box to assure nothing would break. I couldn't believe they took the time out of their day to assure my items wouldn't get ruined. I just wanted to reach out personally to say thank you for caring so much and providing exceptional service - this was hands down one of the best in-person experiences I've ever had with ANY business, not only UPS. read more

This place is the true example of customer service. I have been going to this location and their previous location for the past 6 years. Top reasons they are amazing and deserve to be commended. 1.) When you arrive they always greet you. 2.) They run toward you to offer to help you load or unload your packages. 3.) If you do a terrible job with tape, they will redo it cheaply or in some cases they just do it for you. 4.) They have automatic doors so when you are carrying in a package or carrying one out you don't have to push doors. A novel idea that the post office does not have. I have use this location many times and had great service! Very helpful and kind. But, went in there a few days ago and was told I did everything wrong . Tore my package apart sold me another box for 8 dollars. So my 25 dollar package that I have mailed many time turn into almost 40 dollars. Felt very uncomfortable! Nobody is wearing masks at this store. My mother was there yesterday and was harshly talked to by the owner about why he did not need to wear a mask. He was also not socially distancing as he continued to go after my 80 year old mother. He told her she was "at risk" so she shouldn't be at the store anyway. After chasing her to her car, she came home to a message on her machine from the owner. She has kept the message, reported them to Amazon and the health department, still trying to get ahold of UPS central. Absolutely ridiculous behavior!! I will never frequent this store again. read more

The Stow UPS store is a fine example of what true customer service looks like. You are always greeted at the door and if there is a wait they make sure to let you know that they will be right with you. If you aren't greeted at the door you will be greeted at your car because 95% of the time if it looks like you have a heavy package they come out to assist. The folks that own this location are friendly but not overbearing. I truly wish every store and restaurant owner would spend some time here because I will seriously go out of my way to do business at this location. My mother visited this location to send a package and was up sold on iems she didn't need for shipping. The $8 box she was told to buy was damaged when I received it and the unnecessary bags of air sold to fill space were poking out the hole in the box.(bad quality packaging?) the amount of plastic bags "needed" to ship her items make me wonder why the ban on plastic bags was set in place??? I've never received a damage package from my mother sent from this store in the 5 years I've lived out of state until she was told to revise all her packaging in this last visit. And never has she called to tell me how uncomfortable she felt when she went to this store to send a package. I hope the bully who conducted the transaction proved the point he needed to make while making this transaction in front of his employees. And I hope his employees don't feel as uncomfortable as my mother did. And if this bully needs to call me, like He did my mother, and personally ask me wtf my problem is, like He did my mother...I got the time! Bless your heart read more

This UPS store IS as good as it gets! The owner walked out to my car to my car to help me in with the boxes. He suggested ways of reducing the cost of sending my packages and was very informative about everything. By the end of my counter experience, he called me by my first name and thanked me for coming. The couple that owns this store has only had it since July of 2014 so, disregard previous reviews of this UPS location. The owner is a real gem! With this kind of customer service, I will go out of my way to go to this UPS location! read more

Because I live alone and am not home much, from my senders suggestion to a normal free alternative I chose to have a monthly delivery that required a signature and ID for age verification delivered to this Stow Oh. UPS store. Prior to doing so I called and verified it was ok and asked about any restrictions, costs, or conditions. I was told the only thing I had to do was to pick up any delivered package from any delivering carrier within 4 days, sign for it, and that was all. My 1st delivery arrived in March and I picked it up two days later from a very pleasant and considerate Lady. I recommunicated what I had to do and she said nothing was required except the within 4 day time element, and that they have many people do this because many are not home during business hours. The second delivery in April that I just picked up from a man A****n was a complete different experience beginning with unpleasantness and not so considerate. He brought the package up which was smaller than the last one delivered both in size and weight. This time after signing he said that will be $5.00 Puzzled I asked and why and first he said it was unannounced. Then after I explaining to him my initial call and also the March pickup and encounter, he then said well it was the size of it 14" x 10" x 10" 1.5 lb. and if it were a little smaller it would be only $3.00 Then after explaining to him this one was smaller than the last, he then said well allot of people have packages requiring an ID and signature delivered here and it's my boss's rule. My $5.00 receipt states PKG RCV LG/UNUSUAL. I found a local competitor (not UPS) that would do it as UPS initially disclosed. This place has lost my business and patronage, and diminished UPS's rep for me. read more
