Store returns use to go fairly quickly when the store workers did it. Then they introduced self service, "time saving kiosks". IMO the kiosks do not save time - especially when there are older people using them or ppl with multiple returns. The store workers DO NOT offer to help patrons with Amazon codes or any other codes. They always send them to the kiosks EVEN WHEN THERE'S A LONG LINE & they're just sitting around doing absolutely nothing, sitting on counters talking to each other. The UPS store located on Old Trolley is staffed by a wonderful and fast group of employees, focused on the customer and their needs. Moreover, it's extremely easy to get in and out of in terms of the store and when parking with main street access. Sometimes parking can be a chore but that's an oddity during peak hours like lunch. As far as offerings, s they have a lot of products and services to fulfill your needs as well as emergency items like birthday cards or box tape. They have shipping boxes however I would suggest unless that's a one off, purchasing those types of items at other places to save in costs. Also, they cater to the online shipping community such as Amazon, Etsy or Ebay for example, giving you a separate line from others. Another fun aspect they utilize is bulk printing. An interesting note is that I have my own cookbook which is over 175 pages and I can email them the file (PDF) and they'll print (either one side or front & back) in either color or black and white along with other options like lamination and how to bind it. Forewarning though for my cookbook it averages about $40 per book which is a bit steep imo. I do utilize the UPS store over the post office as it's a huge time saver with a small but easily digestible price increase. When I lived in Texas, I did this exclusively however there's something wrong at this store which I'm going to follow up on. I had a letter sized envelope, the one with the metal tab on it, which I taped over to not be damaged in the machine. In Texas it cost roughly $5 with insurance. However, this store said it would be $42... for a legal sized paper envelope! I ended up going to the post office and it cost, with insurance $6. I'm of the belief that while I was extremely clear and what I needed was obvious the lady had no idea what she was doing. Overall, UPS is a good way to ship things quickly and without headache. However, some of their services might be a little bit of a markup and I think they made a mistake with me once as I stated. That said I've been to this store 5 times or so and had a small mix-up once which I declined to use their service. I'm confident in the future I'll have no such issues. Therefore, I highly suggest stopping by for any of your shipping needs as it's always a fast and friendly experience. read more

Staff were very rude. I went to return an amazing package. The label would not print. They said I need to have a paper label. I do not have a printer. Sh e huffed. I did have bar scan ready and available. She told me to email it. I have always been able to use the bar code and they would just scan it. She made me leave the package on the counter open. She would take care of it later. I asked how will I know it is package and sealed correctly since it was laid among other package on the counter. I frequent this store often to mail packages or for my Amazon returns. The service has always been friendly, helpful, and quick. They will even print off your shipping labels from your email. Jasmine the young lady at the register who assisted with my print job was very rude and inpatient. I literally needed to print 3 documents which appeared numbered (7-9) on my phone and she started practically hyper ventilating stating that the documents were not numbered on her screen and she couldn't figure out which documents to print. I have shipped several things from this store and have never had success. The first was stolen and package ripped open and items taken before it even shipped out. The second, also never arrived at destination. I filed a claim with UPS and they validated the claim and paid the store. For 2 packages. The total was $200. Despite calling the store and following all of their processes I have never been paid. This store has done this with many claims I have discovered. Apparently they get paid by UPS and then never pay the customer it is intended for. I would not recommend this business. I stopped into this UPS Store on Friday Oct 5 after trying (unsuccessfully) to get service at the one on Dorchester Road. This store is so much nicer, and the employees here are definitely more friendly and much more helpful!! They really saved the day for me! Michelle was assisting me with printing out Wedding Programs for my daughter's wedding and we originally had some difficulty getting the double-sided printing to work the way we wanted. But, she was very patient and spent as much time as was needed to get the job done. I am so thankful I had her to assist me because I was definitely a bit stressed out with all the last minute wedding details to worry about! They are good if you need to print something but their price gouging for shipping anything boxed is crazy. I went for a shipping price for some goods I sold online. They weighed and measured the box and quoted me $27. I went to a UPS hub and the price was $11.95. They can overcharge do because they're a franchise and can make their own prices. read more

I was actually told I was a "crazy woman" and not to come back to this store! By a young man who I presume is a manager. I do not agree that instructions which are "step by step" can be inaccurate. Why put up signage that is incorrect? Why not fix this small problem for people who may be disabled, have dyslexia. People with dyslexia are NOT crazy. And do not deserve to be called "crazy" and be told "not to come back." I will try very hard to never grace this particular UPS Store again. A great store with ample staff and always friendly and personable service. They offer copy and print services, banners, lots office boxes, shipping services, and much more! I've used them for faxing and shipping items. I was very pleased with how fast they take care of me when I walk in and I'm always professionally greeted. I've been here a couple times so far. The only thing that is a pain is the amount of parking. Since it's in a strip of businesses, there isn't enough room to park near the store. They do have two designated parking spots though. Not a big deal, there is an overflow style parking area at the goodwill about 75 yards away. I'll go back for sure! read more

Update: I came in to mail a package and was told they cannot guarantee delivery by Christmas even though it was estimated to get to the destination on the 22nd. The employee said she didn't know that they'd be delivering on Saturday. This explains why there was no line. Came in to set up PO Box. Called a few days ago and was given 2 prices. The girl on the phone didn't tell me that there are 3 sizes. Since this is for an organization, I had to get previous approval before going to store and getting POBOX set up. All good and done, walk into store to find that not only are there 3 sizes. There is a 'set up' fee. $15. Something else person on phone didn't tell me about. I went ahead and got the box but would have been helpful to know all information ahead of time. 58219 the last 5 of My tracking number, which was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago!!! Keeps saying unable to deliver! I've been home or my gf each of those days NO ONE ATTEMPTED!! However,!!! In the past when I wasn't home the front office has collected packages for residents if we are unavailable. I call this store and speak to a VERY RUDE JEREMY!!! He apparently was too busy to understand or at that listen as he continued to talk over me. He then hung up like the professional he will never be!
