This store is getting a five star rating because of Alonzo. I was there a couple of days ago and sent out a package. Unfortunately I didn't print the label out so I had to log on to their computer and print one. After doing this task, I proceeded to leave and go do another errand elsewhere. When I arrived I needed to look up something on my phone. Much to my dismay, I didn't have it! I realized that I left it on the computer desk at the UPS store. After much anxiety, I went back in to the store where Alonzo proceeded to greet me and say "I have a gift for you!" I was so grateful for his attentiveness and honesty. I have been going to this store several times and have always been treated nicely by the staff. If the manager reads this review, I hope he or she recognizes Alonzo and hopefully rewards him in some way. read more

Don't bother coming here: Quality of service is horrible. They won't even print a label out for you even if it's UPS. They'll force you to use their computer which chargers you per minute. Never have I seen an ups store ran like this and will follow up with corporate to see if this is an acceptable practice where they are price gouging you on labels read more

I had a very frustrating experience at this location due to the rude behavior of the older Asian man working the front counter. I was returning an Amazon package and selected "without a box or label", but the man insisted I pay for both a box and the label, refusing to help despite explaining the return policy to him. He was dismissive and even shoo'd me away. This seems to be a recurring issue, as others have posted similar complaints about the same man. I won't be returning--find another UPS location with better customer service. Management needs to either have a stern talk with him or let him go. This behavior is unacceptable. read more

This used to be my go to location for drop off until they brought new staff on who know nothing. As a business owner, I need to have the weight of each package listed on my drop off receipt as proof of drop off. The new staff that was recently hired doesn't know how to do this and I now get drop receipts with 0.00 weight listed for each item. The other two locations in Irvine have no issue with this... so my business will now be taken there. A call to CA weights and measures would fix this issue real fast.... I suggest you get in touch with the training department for franchise owners and learn how to correct this. THE ONLY REASON THIS IS GETTING 2 is because of the manager (i assume; his name begins with a T) I walk in to do a return and they sent a label that needed to be printed. I've gone to many UPS and every-time they would say "email us the label" and boom it's done. However at this particular ups Jason informed me that I would have to pay $3 for 3 minutes and then .20 cents per copy. I explained that I've just emailed them the labels before at various ups locations and they would print it. He said "we don't do that here because of security reasons" (whatever that means) he then directed me to the computer and I paid. It didn't work so then the manager came in (Name starts with a T) and magically he says email me the label and I'll help you. Then what do you know the label was emailed and he printed it and all was as it should be. Now I'm not sure why this couldn't have been done from the beginning idk if it was just a cash grab or just plain terrible customer service but this was a ridiculous experience. read more

No complaints, I came here just because I had to stop by Costco and had a package that I needed to ship off. I brought my own packing tape and was able to tape up the box and the shipping label in the parking lot before entering the store (as I heard some places charge for the tape). Package did not have any issues, store associate asked if I needed a receipt, and I was on my way. My package was also successfully delivered to the location on the same week (in Idaho) so I would say this place did it's exact job? The location looked really busy with a lot of packages lining the wall, but they seemed organized enough that I did not let it worry me. read more

I had to take an Amazon return to this UPS store at the Tustin District next to Target off of Tustin Ranch Road. When I did the return on Amazon, it said they would pack it for free. I still had it in the original package so it just needed to be taped closed. The Asian man behind the counter refused and said I had to package it up with a label. I was sad to be charged $3.50 for a UPS plastic bag when I went to make an Amazon return at this location. Never before have I been charged for something that a UPS Store should provide for free! This is the basic shipping bags that are usually included when you ship anything here. I asked for any other kind of shipping envelope and they told me I have to pay for it (even though Amazon pays them for the shipping costs) Disappointing and price gauging - really bad parking and hard to get to as well I'll avoid this location in the future. read more

This store is awful. Charged me for a whole role of tape when a strip would have sealed a box. Entitled and uninformed. Young very green employee helped me with a serious lack of customer service skills. Once I paid for tape he decided to actually decide to force me to buy a box. Seriously. Give me this info up front. You measured the box twice. Nike got me all the labels and number I needed. Why a total bill of $12 was needed for me to ship a box, is just sad. The manager eventually credited me the tape which I used two slices of. It would have been half the price to have this picked up by UPS at my door. These stores are a franchise. I thought, like every other UPS store that if I emailed the labels that they would print it out with a small fee. I emailed the labels and since there was only 1 computer and someone was on it for 15 minutes already, I thought like the other stores they would print it out for me. The owner said he would print it from his computer as a favor becausei would have to figure out my password anyway. It ended up coming out on the same exact printer as the if I would have used the other computer. The owner asked his employee to charge me almost 5$ for 2 labels instead of 80 cents like the other ups stores. The owner is a jerk!!!!! Not to mention parking is an absolute nightmare!! So I just left this store. I've never had to send an Amazon order back using a ups label from my email that needed to be printed but my friend has and she told me for a fee they'll print it out for me. So when I walked into this store I told them, I don't know what I'm doing. I already felt stupid. I asked them can they walk me through this and I was told to get on their computer and print it myself from my email and that I had 3 min to do it or I'd be charged more. So I started panicking and I got on my phone to send the screenshot from my phone to my email so it could be done quicker without having to open up and log into Amazon. I lost internet access on my phone , I asked them for their WiFi. They didn't have one to give me I went outside and my internet came back. I sent it and waited, once received I went back to their computer accepted the agreement and tried to proceed but it asked for an access code. So I asked them for the access code. They said they didn't have one. So I said well what am I supposed to do then. I need help with this. They ignored me and continued helping everyone else. I was so frustrated I stormed out of there and looked for another ups store with higher reviews because I figure if the reviews are higher they're probably going to help me more as opposed to these ppl. I mean seeing as their ratings are 2.5And I'm glad I did, I went to the one located at 13217 Jamboree in Tustin and I told them what happened. Of all the UPS locations I have gone to, this one has the worst customer service E.V.E.R. This seemingly entitled, probably-never-did-one-chore-in-his-life, curly haired boy was working in the front. He seriously lacked basic customer service skills. His tone of voice alone made me want to deliver all these packages my damn self. I told him that I will be needing a receipt as I dropped off my packages. After carrying the last of five 50lbs boxes in, I waited for my receipt and he gave me a blank stare. I unfortunately did not have access to a printer at home and was hoping to print there but was told it would cost $8 dollars to use their computer and print out one sheet. Fine. So I went back the next day with my shipping label and the person at the counter was like where is your box. The guys working are always so friendly and always provide great customer service. I've never had issues w my deliveries. *ALERT * This business encourages price gouging to the FULLEST extent! *ALERT* *Please look at the picture of the receipt I'm attaching to this review* Cashier: David (on the receipt) this one's for you buddy. First of all I've been a repeat customer to this UPS Store for quite some time now. The owner is a nice guy, but based on my last experience here this establishment fails to think in the best interest of the customer. They are now also employing workers that try to ring out every last bloody cent from their customers. I came in with three books to ship and I needed to print a shipping label. David says their computers have internet but it's extremely "limited", so I would have to e-mail the shipping label directly to them and they would print it out for me. 10 minutes later I came back in, told them I've emailed the shipping label to them, and when they rang me up David said the bill was $9 dollars. In my mind I was thinking, "holy sh*t, they must have the wrong item inputted because how are they going to charge me almost $10 for a cardboard box and two sheets of paper". I asked David to break down the charges, and he said it was about $5 for the box, and $5 to print out the two sheets of paper. I look at him straight in the eye and ask him is he seriously going to charge me almost $2.50 to print out one sheet of paper, and his only response was "yes". By this time, the owner walks over from the printer and hands David the two sheets of plain 8.5 x 11 paper with the shipping label on it, and David proceeds to ask me if I would like to "go home and print it myself" while holding the shipping label. Hey wise guy, how about taking it easy with the whole patronizing thing, and remember that you're here working for minimum wage supposedly in the service industry. Whatever the hell happened to customer service?! I grabbed my receipt and got the hell out of there. It wasn't until I got home did I see their ridiculous charges. $1 to tape up the box, and $3 to open up my e-mail categorized as "Misc Non-Taxable" for a 10 cent printing job. Basically in my mind, if I see "Misc Non-Taxable" that really says "Erroneous-F*ck-You-Charge-Just-Because-I-Can". Yeah, that's real slick buddy. I could care less about your 3 dollars, it's just the principle in the matter. Had he told me UP FRONT how much they were charging me and not send me on a wild goose chase first and then gouge me for every possible combination of charges, I would have printed and taped up the box myself before I gave it to them. I hate giving bad reviews but felt the need to vocalize what happened to my husband yesterday afternoon at this location. He had an appointment for passport pictures so we loaded his passport form into their quick print UPS portal for printing at the store. The employees literally had no idea what quick print at the store was (fyi it's on the ups website), but that wasn't the problem. When my husband explained what he was trying to print they were so rude about it, as if my husband was asking them to print it for free. Second, he also took in 2 Amazon returns with the 2 respective UPS return barcodes, something all ups stores do on a daily basis. This was my husband's first time doing an Amazon return at a ups store so he asked the employee how Amazon knows which QR code is associated with which product. The employee's response? "It's not our problem if Amazon gets the wrong barcode". What? What does that even mean? How is that even answering a very valid question? So in short, after paying this location for passport pics, printing documents (which I'm pretty sure we got overcharged for because the employee told my husband to "rent a computer" to print, huh?) and mailing the passport documents I wish we gave our business to another store or better yet Fedex. And I'll be returning at kohls or Whole Foods now because I have no idea if my returns will even make it back to Amazon. GO ELSEWHERE! read more
