Great service, I come in often usually with a lot of items to send out to different places and I always get the best customer service.

I recently had some trouble with a missing item in a package I had shipped and had to contact the store to solve this problem. The same day I sent the email I got a reply email and a call from an employee named Lindsay. She was so helpful and polite and immediately got on the paperwork to get me refunded for my lost item. She even followed up with me through phone calls and emails the following couple weeks until my refund was ready. I was so happy how easy she made it for me by completing all the paperwork and keeping me updated on my claim. The crappy situation definitely turned into a good one. I'm always sending packages for work and this is my go-to UPS store. Lindsay and Candy are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I'm always greeted with a smile and they never make me feel like any request is too much. I've come in in complete disarray before and Lindsay always helps me organize my packages and gets everything done quickly and smoothly. The negative reviews are quite surprising to me because these girls are truly customer service-oriented. I had a very bad experience at the UPS Store on Van Nuys Boulevard in Van Nuys, which is only 1.5 miles from my home, so I looked for another UPS Store and found this location, which is 4 miles from my home. It is the only UPS Store I will frequent. The helpfulness of the employees makes the drive worth it They are ALWAYS helpful and very friendly. My last experience was to have a document notarized. I called before heading to the store and spoke with Makenzie. I explained that my document not only needed to be notarized, but it also needed two additional witnesses. She said that she and one of her other employees could witness my signing before the third employee provided notary services. When I arrived, the Notary Public was out picking up his lunch. He returned about five minutes later and let his lunch sit while we took care of my signing, his two other fellow employees witnessing my signature and his then notarizing my document. I came in today to ship some things and the two girls that were there, the redhead and the tall skinny girl were very serious and ungrateful to have a customer in there. They were not nice and not social at all. They were sarcastic and didn't say thank you at the end. I felt like they were giving me a favor or something. read more

Worst shipping experience EVER!!! Shipped a 47" TV to Nj. When it had arrived to Nj, the packaging alone looked as if someone played soccer with it! The tv was broken on all four corners. Mind you, UPS was paid by me to package it. They offer a guarantee when they pack the items you are shipping. I called and demanded they pay for my Tv!! I had to jump through many hoops to get any answers from anyone!!!! They had he nerve to offer me 50$ less then I paid for packaging and shipping in the first place!!!! I am taking them to small claims court which was just approved by the courts. I cannot believe they had the audacity to not even offer to pay me the full shipping amount and refused to pay for my Tv because their employee Lindsey didn't fill out the shipment order correctly!!!! I own my own small business so I'm shipping items out to customers pretty regularly. This is the closest UPS to my house so I thought I'd give it a try about a year ago. They have consistently impressed me. Every time I go in, it's two young women behind the counter handling everything, and they are so capable and sweet. I ship delicate items, and they always go out of their way to be extra careful with my handmade jewelry. I'm in there so often that they now remember me and the type of shipping I usually choose, so it's a quick and lovely experience. Always polite, always very knowledgable. Best UPS experience by far. I've been to other UPS stores on Ventura Blvd. and been frustrated by their complete lack of basic courtesy or patience. I highly recommend this UPS!!! read more

Twice I've been there during daylight and twice they were closed on a Saturday, very early afternoon.

This is the best UPS Store in the valley!!! They are always friendly, no waiting and they make everything so easy.

Experienced better customer service at other UPS store than this one. However it's closer to me so I just bite the dust and go there. Workers are not friendly at all. You say, Hi, they just look at you like you're from outer space. You say thank you and all you get is silence. I will probably go to another UPS store that is further but at least you get friendlier reception than this place. read more

I was dealing with an extremely frustrating return to Barnes and Noble, and they sent me to the UPS store to return my broken device. The people here were extremely helpful and friendly! They boxed my broken nook with styrofoam peanuts for me and sent it along quickly. The box plus packing materials were $2. March 4, 2011. As of this writing my package has yet to be delivered. Let me go back to the beginning. On January 25th, 2011 I brought a package to the UPS store #1151. I was sending it to Antonio in Newark New Jersey. It was delivered on January 31st. Several days later, on or around the 4th of February I got a phone call from a very nice young lady named Nancy who worked for a company named Atlas. She informed me that my package was delivered there but there was no Antonio working there. I checked and discovered I had sent it to the wrong address. Ooopps ... I said I would call the UPS store, find out what to do next and call her back. February 4th through the 7th. I then called the UPS store and spoke to a very uncooperative young (minimum wage earning) lady. She said to just have Nancy give the package back to the driver when he was there next and return it to the sender (UPS store) and she would call me when they received it. I called Nancy, told her what the young (M.W.E.) lady had said and she said she would be happy to oblige. Very nice. February 16th. Allowing several days for the driver to return and 5 days for the package to make it across the country, we get to February 16th. On that day I called the UPS store, spoke with the young (M.W.E.) lady who told me the package hadn't arrived yet and "Don't worry. We'll call you when it gets here." Suspecting something was not right I called Nancy at Atlas. She said her driver had refused to take the package on two separate occasions. I then called the UPS store, spoke with the young (M.W.E.) lady and told her what had happened. She said "Just tell her to give the package to the driver." I said "She did. He refused." She said "he can't." I said "you're not listening. He refused to take it!" She then said "why don't you call UPS? "I thought I was." "No ... We're just a franchise." She gave me the # for customer service (what a joke) (866) 278-8301. (I know it by heart now) I spoke with a nice young lady who said "No problem ... I'll issue a 'Return to Sender' for the package." I thanked her and waited to see what would happen next. February 25th. Allowing several days for the driver to return and 5 days for the package to make it across the country, we get to February 25th. On that day I called Nancy (very nice) who told me the package had yet to be picked up. "What?!" "Let me call you back." I called customer service (what a joke) (866) 278-8301. (I know it by heart now) A nice young man transferred me to the New Jersey center where I spoke with April. She said "Oh ... It wasn't picked up because you need a call tag." "A what?" "A call tag." Since it was now late in New Jersey she said she would take care of it on Monday the 28th. She didn't. February 28th. It's now the afternoon on the west coast. They're closed in New Jersey so I called customer service (what a joke) and got a supervisor named Felecia (ext. # 2000). She told me that a call tag has to be issued by the UPS store that I sent the package from. "You mean that young (M.W.E.) lady should have taken care of this 3 weeks ago!" "Yep." "And she didn't know any better?" "Yep." She then called the UPS store and got the owner, Ira, on the phone. She explained everything to him. He filled out a call tag for me, charged me $17.50 and told me someone would call me later with a tracking#. An hour or so later I got a message from the young (M.W.E.) lady who said "A a call tag has been issued, your card was charged $17.50 and your package will be picked up and delivered tomorrow." She left no tracking #. When I called to get the # she gave me the wrong # and my package still sits at atlas in New Jersey. read more

I walked in on a Saturday less than 10 minutes before they close, so I was in a panic. I had to RMA a headset, and just put it all in an Amazon box and drove there. I said, "Is there any specific way this should be packaged?" The kind lady taped up the box, put the shipping label in a clear slip that was taped to the box. All done. It took 2 seconds.
