A year ago this would have been 1 star because the old owner was awful! However, the new owner seems great. She owns two other stores, and the employees are soooo much happier!!! The store is cleaner and the experience of having a mailbox there is much more pleasant! I have had a mailbox here for 6 years. I wanted to leave before but it is hard to change your business address on ALL the different forms and this location was convenient. The experience I had yesterday was the best in all that time! I've only ever used this business for Amazon returns but they are quick and friendly, and my returns are sent back promptly. I can't attest to other services or the cost of anything since Amazon returns are all free shipping/no boxes required. If I needed to utilize a business for shipping, I would definitely look into this specific location based on my positive previous experiences! read more

I had been going to this UPS location for over 15 years and sending out 3 day delivery through UPS to the same address multiple times. The lady was rude and not informed at all. Under new ownership, but not any improvement in customer service or any kind of service. They have lost 2 of my packages, I consistently receive more notification slips in my mailbox than packages. I they received a high priority package for me and did not notify me for 24 hours, and just an email. At least the previous owner had someone call when a package was marked urgent. Have used this location since 2017. It was sold to a new owner in August and the difference is night and day. I waited until now to be objective, but it's now the top stores I have regularly used in over 15 years. Little things like a door stop that holds the door open for customers when weathet is good. We experienced the worst of humanity in this stores' customer service today, trying to return items from amazon. The man behind the counter refused to assist my mom who could not see the small instructions AND he belittled her for it. He upset her so much, she left in tears. I usually shop at this UPS Store because parking is more accessible than one closer to my home. I have a disability and often use a cane. On my last visit, I could not park in front of the store, which has high curbs, because all spaces were filled, so I just took my package in, leaving my cane, purse, and phone in my locked car. The clerk was extremely helpful and jumped through many hoops to get my package processed, including assisting me to my car to get my phone and purse because there were no longer any vehicles to assist in my step down. Unfortunately, I had chosen a store other than UPS and there were locations for that store in my county. As I was about to leave to find another solution, another employee came back from lunch and provided additional help in getting my issues resolved. He explained how to get my ticket for this UPS store, then also walked me back to my car. I went home, about 3 miles away, corrected the mailing information and returned about an hour later. It took 2-3 minutes, and I was out of the store. The level of respect and consideration I received from staff at this UPS Store was exceptional. read more

Paid extra for priority 2 day shipping, my package hasn't arrived over 5 days later. And when I try to call the store to get any information, no one ever answers. I also never got an email response. Already contacted corporate to complain about this location. I'm on vacation waiting for a package I sent to myself to have while out of town, but now I don't have any of my items for vacation. This is the worst experience! They had actually UNPLUGGED their business phone! I have tried to call them multiple times in the past. No answer. She plugged it in right in front of us and told us word for word my boss makes us unplug it. The owner Mike is one of the most unhinged managers I've ever come across. Today while at the store i witnessed him THROW a box filled with cookies at an elderly woman who simply asked why he was being so aggressive and rude with her (he was being extremely rude). After reading through some of the other reviews and seeing his behavior with other customer's I decided to leave a review for the first time in my life. Whoever in upper management has allowed this man to not only behave this way towards his customers but has ignored his terrible behavior towards his employees (getting in their face, screaming at them, yanking things out of their hands and butting in to their customer transactions) as well should be ashamed. I've been to this location a few times, just for convenience. The owner is nice enough, and very helpful. The downside to these 'convenience' stores is they can be pretty pricey compared to the post office. If you have a larger package, or a delivery time restraint, I suggest you go to the post office. If you have a small package that can be mailed with standard delivery, this is a nice place to go...rarely any lines compared to the post office. Another problem with this location is they started charging $1 to drop off outgoing packages! I came here before and after the $1 charge. Very aggressive and rude guy that works here. I didn't get his name unfortunately but got a picture. He didn't want to help us return our Amazon package in the original box. He told us we need to purchase his box for $25 if we wanted it to ship.as I am trying to explain about the Amazon return he just leaves me and helps another person. I have never had this happen before. Eventually he comes back after helping the customer and after all the back and forth arguing he finally took the package and that was that. First - if you have a return ?, buy packaging elsewhere (it'll save you money). I've come in here twice in the last maybe 6 months and each time I felt irritated when I left. The guy is just rude. If I could give a zero star I would I took a package in to be sent to Napa, CA. The clerk told me GUARANTEED next day delivery by 11AM was $244.89 She promised me if the package was delivered by 11am the next day, UPS would fully refund my money It also says this on the printed receipt she gave me The package did not arrive until three days later from when I had them send it (Guaranteed next day delivery - Saturday- by 11 am -- did not arrive until following Monday) A call to UPS instructed me to get the money from the UPS store (Note - the guy at UPS who I spoke with was unhelpful and seem to lack any understanding of UPS) I went to the UPS store and showed them the receipt The clerk called UPS and then told me since the delay was due to "weather" he would not refund my money as promised He said "It was too bad but it's the way it is" The people at this UP store are incompetent or lying thieves Either way, they will steal your money read more

I typically don't write reviews but the "customer service" here was completely missing. Both employees that I encountered were rude, short and do not understand the first thing about being in a service industry. UPS damaged and discarded a package sent to my customer and then didn't even notify me that it was discarded. This store did not take any accountability for the mishandling of the package or the lack of communication that it would not be arriving to my customer. The store pulled every excuse from blaming it on UPS shipping standards or that I didn't pack it properly. If the item was roughly handled during delivery, this company does not want to take accountability unless you pay for them to pack it. There are no guarantees otherwise which is absurdly disappointing. The most infuriating part was when the manager either put me on mute or stop responding on the phone when I called the store, complete lack of professionalism. Perfect place to mail or ship items! They are super useful and competent! I ship 5-10 item per week and if I don't have a label they easily find it in their email (which I previously email from home) and print it for me for $2.00 (2 pages)!. They will take all your mail and shipment if you have a label already even if there is a long lone or costumers!. They never loose a package and I always get refunded! When I am there and not ready they are super patient with me! I wish every business will have competent, ethical and efficient workers like this iPS on 63 st! read more

I was helped right away, but while I was waiting for my paperwork to get fax I noticed how efficient everyone was, they were getting people in and out. My son shipped an acoustic bass from this location. the store clerk, Michael, packaged it, and my son was sure to insure the package. I was horrified to find the Bass guitar crushed when it arrived to the UPS store, in Rutherford NJ. The store there was quick to denounce the sending store, and advised me to call their corporate office, who in turn told me to call his office. I am aware of how to proceed with the legal proceedings, in this instance, however, the cost will be so great, that by the time the store reimburses my son and I for the much needed instrument, and the fraudulent insurance policy, we will have paid twice it's value. When I called their store, the women who answered put me on hold to speak with "The Manager". She failed to place the phone on hold, and a male voice told her to screen the call by placing it on hold, because he didn't have time for it. He reiterated, asking her to insure it was on hold. It was not. After calling the store back, I was forwarded to a voice messaging system that is out of service. This store's owner is crooked. I hope the BBB has your number Michael. First, I usually don't usually give bad review but this one bothered me to no end. Horrible customer service from older man at counter. I have had a bad experience with him before but the first time and even the second time, I gave him the benefit out the doubt and thought he must just be having a bad day. Now I think it is just him period. I took 2 identical packages into the store, which I struggled with trying to open the "pull" handle on the front door. Once I finally opened the door, I sat them down on the working counter and before I could get my breath, he told me to put them on his counter. When I pulled my code up and faced my phone towards him waiting for him to tell me where to put my phone, he grabbed my phone out of my hand without asking me and scanned the code. He then rushed me for the 2nd code so fast I gave the incorrect bar code from my phone. I left upset but figured it was done and I wouldn't have to deal with him again. However, after looking at the return slip, I realized it was the wrong return code on the 2nd package so I went back asap, a nicer young lady tried to help me but the older man overheard me and told her he would help me. There were no other customers in the store by the time he "helped" me. I did NOT want him to help me because he treated horribly. When I told the younger gal I felt too rushed, the guy said "Well we are busy so we have to rush". I ended up having to take the 2nd package with me because of his rudeness. I will NEVER go to or recommend this store unless he is not working the day I need to go in. If I could give 0 stars I would. Best to go to the store in Hazel Dell where, even though they are busy, they have a LOT better customer service. read more

I don't enjoy writing negative things, however I feel I would be doing you a major disservice if I kept quiet about this place. The owner of this location is a complete jackass! Has no skills in customer service or common curtesy. He is rude, obnoxious, has no communication skills what so ever and is just down right mean. I feel terrible for the people who have to work with him every day. Do not use this location, he doesn't deserve your business. I would give him a negative star rating if it was an option. He never listens to anything you say or ask, consistently interrupts you and will walk away from you several times while trying to get information from him. He yells at his employees in front of customers Always seems irritated wether it's on the phone or in person. He has actually hung up on me twice mid sentence. Doesn't even know who I am so I can't take it personally but gosh that really pisses me off. He does NOT like his job and it is clear He failed to forward our mail several times after charging us for it He closed our box without any communication and has been sending back all of our mail without letting us know for the past four months. Last time I used this store I was looking to photocopy some documents A4 format (8.27x11.69), they make me the copy in A2 format (16.54x23.39)!!!! On my complain that this is NOT a format I am looking for, the employee told me: "just cut it"!!!!!!! This is the fifth time I am using this store and I can say that only the Manager/Owner belongs there, everybody else including the person that cover for him, just are not for this business!!! He is little bit nervous (who would not be with this crew), but he perform a good job! Three times (from 5 visits) I have very bad service, and once unfortunately I actually have to argue very hard with person who cover for the manager, because she does NOT listening what the customer actually need! They lost a packaged of documents that needed to be resigned and delayed a home sale. Then when re shipping the documents that they lost they charged $3.00 to print out their shipping label I bought online. Because I saved them the time of buying a shipping label in store and bought one online I get charged an extra $3.00. What a joke. I ship multiple times a day and was using ups every once in a while since it's closer to my office. But Fedex is better in every way. More reliable, cheaper, more free shipping packages and they won't charge you for a shipping label you already paid for. The people here are always great and friendly and have nothing to do with the garbage business practices that UPS has. read more

Caution using the UPS store on CORYDON Ave!!!! I ordered a $2,500$ Apple MacBook last month and the UPS driver decided to not leave it on my doorstep, likely because the Apple policy was to not do that so...she brought it to a "secure" location, the above named UPS store. However when I arrived at the store they "couldn't find it" and assumed it was stolen!!! So I enquired further and was told they had no security camera to check on what happened! That's the only thing reportedly stolen. I spoke to several people including the store manager and the store owner, neither of which offered the slightest sympathy? Really???? I then contacted Apple the next and by the end of the day had a MacBook in my hands. And if think that was easy try to get a MacBook on December 2,2021? UPS has a lot to learn about customer service and my guess is they won't be around for much longer! And my birthday was Dec. 3! read more

I've done dozens of Amazon returns over the years and have never had an issue until this store. Usually I bring my return in a box, they scan a code on my phone, hand me a receipt, and that's it. Today I brought my return to this location and as soon as I walked in the man said, "Amazon return?" I nodded and he said very aggressively, "what a surprise." I showed him the code and he said he needed to print it out so I had to connect to wifi and email it to them. Then he walked out the front door. I connected to their wifi (which was unnecessary) and waited for an email address to send it to. Eventually some other woman walked over and when I asked for their email address she just pointed to a tiny sign, turned around, and walked away. I sent the email, she printed it, and I asked if they needed anything else from me. She told me I owed $3. I told her I was just returning something and have never had to pay anything. She said it's a "minimum print fee" and I let her know I didn't bring my card since I've never been charged for a return. She said again that it is the minimum print fee. I told her I would just print it at home, so she grabbed the papers she printed, gestured at my box for me to take it, turned around, and walked away. I sat in the parking lot for a good five minutes just in shock that they treat people that way. If I had been told initially there would be a charge, it would have saved everyone time and frustration. Even just the way the three employees talked to each other while I was in the store was extremely rude and disrespectful. My whole experience was very hostile. I'll definitely stick to the UPS store I normally go to... I should have read the other reviews before I decided to go there. read more

I will not mention her name, but the salesperson was abrupt, unfriendly, and in too big a hurry to give me what I wanted. I will use another UPS store after this. Highway robbery, and I was not notified of the charge in advance. Then, Michael the extremely Rude and Arrogant store owner laughed out loud when I asked to observe my box get taped/sealed up and labeled in front of me. I certainly was not going to leave an unopened box in the store unsealed and just leave the store. She moves people through lines so much faster than I ever expect. She knows her stuff, and she's super efficient and friendly, too!
