$5.00 SERVICE CHARGE to receive "an email" for printing, then $.50/page??? All UPS Stores do not charge to receive an email. I've done this before and have never been charged anything to send them a file through email. What's with this Walnut Creek UPS Store? Are they ripping customers off? Is this a new thing? I cameTo the store only to make a drop off of two pre-sealed boxes and one UPS Amazon return delivery and I had several items which were in two different boxes and the lady at the register was very rude the entire time she seemed frustrated and flustered because of other customers that were waiting, but she was rude and short when she was talking to me and told me I needed to buy a box and tape. The tape was very cheap material although it was very expensive to buy, and she complicated a very simple transaction. Then when it was time to print out the label which Amazon says it will be printed by the UPS store she kept on insisting that she couldn't print it out because it wasn't working and asked me to callAmazon to have them send me a new label I insisted on asking her to try again and it worked. In general it seem like she just simply wasn't having working on a Sunday or helping the public at her customer facing business. My review was deleted because it was too vague. I notified yelp that I will go to this store just to point out the individual. I did not want to call her out by name as to why I through out my receipt with her name on it. She actually refused to give me her name and gave me the fakest "have a nice day" when she was not fond of me whatsoever. Very rude to me in many ways such as every time I made an inquiry about something she felt the need to correct me. She told me I could not use the internet explorer and only chrome exiting out my pages and telling me to do the whole process over. I negated it and was able to successfully do what I wanted on the internet explorer and instead of congratulating me she decided ti argue that that was not the reason the issues I encountered were resolved. I really attempted to put this individual at ease bt she persistently kept degrading me and saying "oh im sorry in the most sarcastic manner". So if all this information isnt descriptive enough by all means I will come to the store and make a purchase to where her name is on the receipt and put it out there. I just thought you guys may had wanted to resolve this in house. She may had seen the yelp and acted like she didnt know it was about her and agreed for it being vague... bt naa this aint vague and if yelp continues to take my post which i dnt see why being that this is one of my most descriptive reviews I WILL GO and I will call this very rude individual out. I want to share a fun experience I just had at UPS when I went in to mail 3 different Christmas cards up to Canada on 12/14/20. I know UPS reps are wired so strangely like they are from a complete other millennia but they confused the hell out of the elderly man ahead of me who exclaimed "Are you kidding, I just wanna mail a letter!" He gave me a chuckle but then when it was my turn, they were unable to find B.C. or British Columbia OR the postal codes in their computer system. It was figured out in 5-10 min & then they told me my 3 Christmas cards costs $43. to send. I said OK you must mean 43 cents. I stood my ground with the question till the supervisor came out who said "well if you want to just mail it ground then it's different. I said "now, who would want to spend $43 for mailing 3 cards? Is that the 1st option everyone would choose?" The woman tells me "I am just trying to help you". I tell her "well I want to help your business a little and I am concerned how these young new people are trained. Nobody wants to spend $43 mailing 3 letters". Then she said "well then I can sell you a booklet of stamps and that is $14". I laughed and said if that's my only choice I guess so. I can throw away the rest of the stamps I guess because I certainly don't ever use them". She remarked something about she uses stamps all the time. I remarked back, "really, I sure don't. I just need 3". Then she decided to add "well I can just charge a metered fee for each one then". So, thinking that was a hell of a way to get around to charging a regular fee for a stamp I asked "Is this how people get trained here in mailing a letter? Its going to be very difficult for them to go through these conversations with customers when the intuitive response is taught to be the most absurd charge possible for mailing a card". Then the 3 talented service reps played the face of a challenged and battered, fragile Californian who really wants to drop their head back into the sand as to appear invisible. I had to allow myself to just keep laughing till i got to the car, as crazy as that may have looked. I needed to release the tension their nucleur idiocy created in my body, lest it forms some cancer. But is it truly required that UPS counter clerks be so damned alien??? read more

To wit, I recently arrived after closing and the owner kindly unlocked the door and took care of me in a complicated transaction. But there are many examples of this family is going above and beyond. Seema is the new owner. I came in for notary and she said things were crazy around the Holidays and there might be some interruptions but said she'd do it. She is a very pleasant lady and had just taken over the store from the previous owner 6 months ago. I'm a small business owner myself so I can understand how hard it is to run a business. She didn't have the luxury of starting from scratch, in fact from what I gathered she had purchased the franchise from someone who had been mismanaging the store. It's 9:07 and the UPS kid runs into the store, very late, already a line outside. He refuses to ship my package acting like a total douche even though I've shipped heavy packages here before. It's the guy with tattoos and glasses (in case u want to fire this kid manager). So I went to Fedex and they shipped it no hassle, giving me great customer service. Overall, there isn't any point going here unless you have a drop off since it's a horribly run store by underpaid kids who don't care about giving customers a pleasant experience or treating them like human beings. read more

This store is dishonest and unresponsive. In August I paid to have a package sent overnight, it arrived 1 week later. After many calls to the store and 800 numbers they told me that the refund was on its way. It turns out that the refund is issued to the UPS Store who then forwards the refund to me. This never happened. Every time I call the UPS store they tell me the manager will call me back, which never happens. The UPS Store and UPS are separate, so no one will help me. Walnut Creek UPS Store: in case you're reading this I am also submitting a complaint to BBB. FedEx customer for life now. read more
