Over priced and crooked business practices. They tried to charge FIVE TIMES the amount of the Palos Verde store to ship a small package. So gross, can't believe they can get away with that. They've also broken something I paid them to package and ship and did nothing about it. read more

Terrible experience. The girl behind the counter was shockingly rude--she is clearly miserable there, or just doesn't like customer service. After I had gone online and calculated my shipping rate to be $12, she told me it would be $52 to ship a two pound package... are you serious?! This was an absolute waste of a trip. This is the second time I've encountered rude service here. The first time was with an Amazon return and today was with a Livescan service. I called ahead for price, was quoted a price by a UPS store employee, and then the employee in store tried to tell me they wouldn't have quoted a price to me on the phone. I love this UPS Store simply for the ladies that work here (sorry, gents, if you also work here... I've just never seen any). They're all very sweet, helpful and do their best to make the process run smoothly. They work very hard and never seem to let the sometimes daunting work get to them. This was my first visit to this location to get a document notarized. Location is on the edge of downtown, but plenty of free parking. Staff was friendly and courteous. My notary was very efficient and knowledgeable; she actually found a error that my attorney made! I went in to get help delivering multiple items to 7 different recipients before Christmas. I was totally clueless on the type of packaging I needed as well as how to care for the items in route. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Seema and she guided me on what options I had, how to protect the items and the approximate cost of each parcel. Not only did she package and apply the tracking slips to each parcel, she identified who it was for to make tracking easier for me and also worked with me after I had to change some addresses. I don't recommend this location. I went in yesterday around 5:30pm. The staff is unfriendly and the person who helped me treats customers differently. I had to get my items taped and labels printed. They didn't charge the previous customer for the taping service saying, "there's usually a service charge, but it's complementary this time." I don't mind paying for the service, but I do mind the fact that the previous customer didn't need to pay for the same service. I also find it ridiculous that they charge $3 for taping. It probably costs less than $5 cents!! read more
