I am so grateful for the services @ UPS Whittier! Luis and Zach have been so helpful in notifying me of my packages, wiping every box down with sanitizer as they come off the delivery trucks and before they're placed into customer's holding area. Their services are especially convenient and needed as we help our families across the states to get items they need during this crisis time. They're open longer than the p o so it's more convenient to get to for those who perhaps don't get off until 6 or 7. Great place and very friendly staff. Some days you might wait a little longer for someone to help you, but it's understandable since they are extremely busy and staff is limited. In regards to the live scan service it's great. I've used the service several times for different situations and it's a fairly quick process, won't take you more than 30 minutes. They recommend you call ahead to ensure there is a team member available to assist you, prices vary depending on the agency that requested the live scan. I read a comment of someone getting upset over the price a staff told them, but the team member must have given them the highest price so they were prepared. read more

Plus side to this location is their hours! And they were very very helpful. My bf and I stumbled upon them while shopping at the quad and just stuck our head in to get a price estimate for baby shower invite prints. That was the best thing we could have done! We ended up printing them on the spot, the staff was extremely helpful and our invites came out beautifully. We had already purchased our own glossy paper but it was nice to know that they offered services like paper for special occasions and also cutting of the invitations. It's rare for me to write negative reviews, but I just need to express my experience. I just left this UPS store, and was helped by Sam. He was very frustrated, impatient, and rude. He was helping out an elderly man in line before me, and Sam would roll his eyes as he was helping him. When it was my turn, again he continued to be rude and even answered his phone to talk to his kid while helping me and with a line going out the door. If he's complaining about a long line he shouldn't be using his cell phone. Will definitely not be coming back. I recommend the UPS on Hadley St. in Whittier as well. read more

I just moved to the area and this is the closest UPS and I've been 3 times and it's always a hassle. First time I had a big package and as soon as I walked in the door the rep was questioning if my return was UPS and not usps? I was like yes it says UPS and he seemed disappointed he had to take the package lol next time line was out the door bc they only had one POS. Not their fault but it was just an oddity. 3rd time I got a notice at my home to pick-up my package at their location. I called and I think Kathy(?) answered and told me to come down before 7pm for my package. So I went to pick-up my package and they said it's not available until the next day and I need to come back tomorrow. I'm guessing it was still on the truck but that's why I called ahead of time to verify I could pick it up. Anyways, I've never had issues with UPS until now. The associates are pretty nice overall but idk maybe it's just bad luck. read more

Closes early. Came here twice to just drop off prepaid packages, 20 seconds max. Closed at 7:50 one visit and 7:55 another visit. Hours posted on Yelp are the same as the door; supposed to close at 8. Two most important factors of shipping centers are the hours, and efficiency of service. Due to the former, I have yet to experience the latter. read more

I had an Amazon return to drop off. There is only 1 employee and 3 people in front of me (2 needing a notary) and 2 behind me. After about 10 minutes the 1 employee asks if anyone just has a return. I say yes and go to the counter. My item is in the plastic bag it came in. She says her boss won't accept it. I told her that's how it came (except shrink wrapped) so she took it. Notary service great, but not if there are multiple people who just want to drop off items which thought wa UPS's main function. read more

I was having trouble getting a package delivered to my home. When I called the UPS Store, Louis was very helpful, polite and courteous. My order was delivered to his UPS Store, and when I went to pick it up, he was attentive and very, very helpful, even offering to help take the package to my car. They also offer Notary services. I am always at The Quad (hello TJ Maxx!) and had never seen this UPS store! It's a small location next to the AT&T I believe (don't quote me on that but you catch the drift.) I needed a LiveScan for a tutoring gig and I called my local police department to schedule an appointment. I am still waiting for them to pencil me in.....ha! So I called this location and sure enough they have the service. I think it took me a whole 10 minutes to get it done, pay, get my copy and go on my merry way. Very friendly people, effecient, and got the job done. Can't say I don't dig! read more

This place deserves a zero star rating if possible. I came by to drop off a package one day and there was a line going out the door. I take a peek inside to see what's the hold up and behold, I see one guy working and working very slowly at that while chatting it up. I left and came back to find that there was a new line of only 1 person. I take another peek to see how a 1 person line is taking over 10 mins, not to my surprise it's the same employee or owner (whoever he was) handling amazon pick up packages (he was scanning them in). Any business sense person would realize that task can be handled later, especially when scanning in 4-5 packages is taking too long. If you can clearly see customers waiting patiently, you either tell them your sorry for the wait or you take them right away and handle other tasks after the in-person customers are taken care of. I left again for good and went to the UPS store down the street which had 8 people in line but only took 5 mins total to get serviced. read more

I had to get some closing documents notarized and I don't have much experience on how any of it worked. Bill worked with me to get everything done. He took the time to explain the documents and even caught a few errors. I was able to notarize, scan the documents to myself and mail the originals to the escrow company in one fell swoop. I would definitely recommend this store. I hear they can print business cards now too...I need a refill, so I'll definitely be back. read more

A wonderful conclusion on this fingerprinting debacle. I had sent a copy of the original review to Certifix Livescan, the UPS store, and the UPS corporate by email to show my displeasure with this madness. Certifix Livescan owner, Mr. El-Mangoury, within hours had emailed me back and apologized for the mess offered to come to my place of work and rescanned my fingerprints personally. The next business day he dropped by during lunch and rescanned my fingerprints and had them in the system that night. It had taken only a few days for it to go through the Ca. DOJ. When there call in telephone tracking system went down, he still was right there ready to pounce on any issues that may have came up. I am so grateful for Mr. El-Mangoury and Certifix Livescan in stepping up and they are a wonderful group who turned a bad bureaucratic nightmare and allow me to again help my community by providing volunteer care for local events and causes.
