Quarantined days has meant lots of bike rides for the kids. The dishes, laundry and cleaning could wait since it's not like anyone is coming into our house soon. ' I hopped on my trusty bike purchased from Green Bay Cycles in 2013. To be honest it's probably been used a dozen times since then so while old it's still in pretty good condition. However, we immediately realized that I had a flat tire so the kids set off for bike riding fun with their dad. I saw Green Bay Cycles is closed on Sundays right now, so I enjoyed a rare moment of peace and silence while unloading the dishwasher. They reopened today (Monday) and my husband brought in my bike in his typical quarantine uniform (comfortable clothes, mask and gloves). They took the bike for him, fixed my tire, tuned it up and sprayed it with disinfectant spray. It didn't take them long at all and they were super sweet not to charge us for it either. My husband said he felt completely safe with the experience and will continue to go there for our biking needs during quarantine...and of course after.
