I went to the store to get a document notarized. As soon I mentioned what I needed help with, you could tell that the store employee did not want to help. He immediately asked if the document required witnesses, and while it did, it clearly stated right on the witness page that the witnesses did not need to actually be present when the document was signed. When the employee refused to acknowledge this, the manager walked over and proudly announced that they would not read the sentence and it's not their job to understand it. They were invested in not being helpful or considerate. The way they stood behind the effectiveness of their own ignorance by refusing to read a sentence on the document was surprising. I'm writing this review not just because they refused to help us, but because of the way they did it. There was no grace. There was no disappointment. There was no willingness to try to see if they could help. There were no suggestions on how to handle any issues. They just wanted us gone. They should not offer a service they so clearly do not want to provide. read more

Never again. I have had two recent disappointing visits here and there will not be a third if I can help it. One time, I needed to drop a parcel off to go out via USPS. The package had all the necessary postage and was ready to go. The woman behind the counter refused to take it and said I *had* to take it to a post office. (This is Bull). I left and it just so happened that a mail carrier was outside prepping his truck. I asked if he could take it and- get this- he DID! The next time I went, same lady behind the counter. I needed to ship a painting. I had it wrapped in bubble wrap, but not in a box. After measuring this and that and tapping away on the register, she quoted a price of $32 and change. I agreed. Then she kept typing into the register- finally coming up with $50 and change. Huh? I look on the screen and she added a box fee and service fee. Now, I'm FULLY aware that those fees were going to come up -- BUT, they should be included in the first price. The woman behind the counter was well aware those fees were going to be added on, but decided not to tell me up front. In addition, she was on the phone the whole time taking a personal call. Had I not been in a hurry and busy this particular day, I would have walked out. Instead, I decided to swallow my pride and take it - but save others from doing so in the future. Avoid this location and any other locations these individuals are a part of. Good customer service goes a long way, but bad customer service goes much longer. read more

I had a drop-off return from an online order. Received the QR code and found the box. Unfortunately, I did not read the instructions all the way through and forgot to tape up the box beforehand. Was promptly informed of my error by the store rep. Aside from that, it was an easy return. read more

Some of the negative reviews on here are hilarious. People are mad that they wanted to charge you for tape? Or a box? Duh, it's a shipping business and that is part of what they sell. Absolutely atrocious experience, please stay far away from this UPS. Probably the worst UPS experience I've ever had. I came in with a printed return label, all items packaged in the box. Just needed to tape it. The Indian lady told me I had to buy tape - I asked "Can I borrow some of yours? It's just one package." In which case, I assume her husband, told me he could help me. He was just as rude and explained their reason for not letting me borrow tape was because they could get sued? I am so confused. Don't understand the reasoning, as I have never had a problem. In any case, the customer service is absolutely non existent and I will never be returning. Please UPS, check on these locations. Not an accurate representation of the great service UPS usually offers. I will happily drive twenty minutes to the next location next time and avoid this place altogether! read more

I rarely need to use UPS for my shipping. I usually only mail letters. I went to the UPS store today on Red Bug Lake Road in Winter Springs.(store #3457). I was helped by a wonderful gentleman named Vic. I had purchased some stuffed animals to send to the tornado victims in Mayfield Kentucky. From the treatment I received from Vic, you would have thought I was his mother! Vic was professional and explained everything. He helped me box up my package and I even got a slight discount because I was sending toys to the victims in Kentucky.Thank goodness it wasn't busy because he spent so much time with me! But I have to say that I think he must do this with everyone because of his kindness. Please let him know how much I appreciate him, and UPS should be proud to have an employee like him! Beware if you have Amazon returns!!!! I stopped by early in the morning (Wednesday at 9:20 am) with a kind 'good morning' being courteous to the UPS store staff (didn't want to come at a busy time). Came to drop off an Amazon return in its original packaging with prepaid return label which clearly indicated that it DID NOT need to be taped or packaged (I brought it in the original box anyway). The lady in the store (apparently the owner or store manager) indicated that she could not accept the return unless I purchased a tape and sealed the box myself. I was confused. I told her that I had a return with no packaging required but replied that she couldn't accept it like that anyway because she didn't want to be 'charged' for packaging this time, raising her tone of voice. Excuse me? That was a bit rude. Not a good morning greeting first thing in the morning. It is a pity because the gentleman that works in the afternoons (perhaps her husband) is always kind, patient and helpful. I winded up getting my return accepted at another neighborhooring UPS store with no problem. So my suggestion is .. STAY AWAY from THIS specific UPS store while you can, especially if SHE is the one in the store. You can likely find better service elsewhere. read more

This particular UPS store is located at the corner of Aloma and red bug Lake Road. I'm going to go with four stars based on entirely the service of this particular location. So just like about every other UPS store, there are a variety of services that you can expect to find there... And that's a good thing; There are times you need to be sure it's going to be there. They of course have post boxes available for rental, pack and ship services, passport photos, and printing/FBI clearance equipment, I Color laser photo copies etc. etc. Like I said pretty much standard fare for UPS store, all the things you want and expect. There's no question that the key to the UPS store his convenience... And just like 7-Eleven or another convenient store you pay for the convenience. So are the rates for United States Postal Service as shit if you pay for them there as if you went to the post office, no no they are not. Know that when you are going into this and your life will be far easier. The same goes for UPS ground or overnight packages if you were to ship it on your own prenup you're sick or you probably saved quite a few bucks, however that isn't always convenient and convenient as I said is the key... Sometimes we are totally willing to pay for your convenience, at least I know I am. The real stars here are the employees. I have yet to meet the owners, but I've seen some of their regular employees on a somewhat steady basis as I am pretty frequently visiting this UPS store particularly. Everyone has had a great smile on their face and problem-solving/help me in anyway that they could. If the prices are more reasonable I could give them five stars based on the blatant overcharging a postage I simply can't do it. That being said this is a very good UPS store read more

I went in to drop off an Amazon return. Apparently Amazon changed their system and I didn't realize that my QR required the item to be packaged. I happened to have a box on me but had to pay for tape. UPS explained it was Amazons rule not theirs and showed me on my QR code where it said to label my return. I apologized for my rude behavior when it was my own fault for not reading the fine print. Mindy and her colleague were super helpful and very nice when she explained everything. They have been taking a lot of heat when it is not their fault. Very nice people! read more

I went to pick up a package at the Redbug Lake Road, Winter Springs, Florida location about 10:30 am on Tuesday April 18, 2023. I was told (by Pinky) to come back at noon when the manager would be in. I told her that I wanted to pick up a package and showed her that I had a tracking number. I gave her my last name, but she insisted that I return at noon when the manager would assist me. She gave me no explanation as to why she could not assist me at that time. I was the only customer in the store. So, I returned at 12:05 pm and was told abruptly (by Pinky) to stand in line and wait for the manager who was helping several customers ahead of me. When the manager assisted me, he asked for an ID which I presented. He quickly went and retrieved my package. I politely asked him why Pinky could not have performed this task when I came in the first time. His response was that she probably didn't understand me. Pinky then came over and said she couldn't perform the task because of something I did wrong. I responded to the manager that my request was very simple and straight forward and that she should learn to understand better. He called me a racist and told me to leave the store. Needless to say, I hope to never return to this store. I remain confused about why Pinky could not have retrieved by package. She appeared to be an intelligent person who understood and spoke English very well. read more

I was impressed with the professionalism displayed by the individual working the main counter. He took the time to work with the lady in front of me, explain her options, and make sure all the paperwork was completed correctly so her package would arrive in Puerto Rico as scheduled. Unfortunately, she did not want to sign the required customs documents, and verbally harassed him. His response was to explain the documents were required and gave her the option to use the postal service and he would cancel the order if she wished. She again became aggressive, and he calmly said that he would cancel the order for her, that he would not take responsibility for the package without the proper documentation. I was amazed that he let her attacks slide off him, especially when her recourse was to come out of nowhere and say he refused to help because he was discriminating against her?????? because he followed the rules. He didn't let her actions affect my transaction and quickly scanned in my package,asked how I was doing, finished and sincerely wished me a good day. He calmly went on to help the next customer making sure each customer got his full attention. read more

This UPS Store is our favorite place to do a huge number of tasks. We often have them pack gifts at Christmas and mail them out. We often use them to send out business letters. The staff is always quite competent, efficient and informative. They have offered us coupons to reduce our costs and to improve our deliveries. They also have a notary service which helps when sending in legal letters--things we've had to do related to real estate. There open hours are convenient. They will tell when the package will actually leave the premises and an estimate on delivery date. They also have packing supplies, cards in a limited amount on site. read more

I just walked into the store to ship a box out. I received the box a few days ago and am returning it to its sender in the same box. The box was originally shipped via UPS. After the person at the desk put large stickers on both sides of my package I was told that my box couldn't be shipped because of a "black arrow" on the side which indicates "hazardous material" according to the employee and even though he covered them that he couldn't ship it and I could repackage it in a new box for an additional $11. Haven't really had a chance to experience the store to the fullest. The first time I was there I was looking to mail something via DHL (I was mailing something over seas and the receiver told me to ship via DHL) so when I checked online, this store was listed as a DHL authorized shipper. No fault to the store, but the caveat was that everything already had to packed and labeled. Ugh!! Nope. The second time was to drop off a UPS box that was already labeled and ready to ship. Just plopped the box onto the counter and made my way. The staff was friendly both times, and the store clean, but haven't really experienced everything the store has to offer ... yet! read more

I was returning for Amazon The 400 pound manager approached me leaning over the counter in my personal space in my face yelling while I was on the phone with Amazon to tell them that they provide a box for my return they have set it and it is clear in the instructions and email and label that they are supposed to provide a box which they repeatedly kept yelling at my face that they will not provide a box. I asked him about 10 times to please stop yelling in my face and leaning over the counter he is completely unprofessional and rude he even threaten to call the cops on me saying I was making a scene by him asking me to please get out of my face and let me talk to the Amazon guy on the phone. He kept interrupting yelling through the phone saying he will not provide a box when it was my conversation. I have witnessed multiple people in line have poor service. The lady who owns the store will make you wait aside int he corner to purchase some thing for three dollars and continue to take the next customers. I would not recommend anybody to go here because it will for sure ruin the rest of your day I wish more people would do something about this they need new management and a new owner. The store is extremely clean first off. The staff is extremely friendly. They just got a wide format printer that allows them to print banners and poster fast. Absolutely useless with regards to UPS related service. This store is simply an extremely expensive packaging store with a UPS storefront logo. They cannot provide any service relating to a UPS account (how foolish of me to think a "UPS Store" would be able to provide such service) nor can they accept drop-off packages that require a signature as proof that the item has been received by UPS (again, how ridiculous for a customer to think that a UPS Store could handle UPS functions). This review is really applicable to all UPS "Stores" and not aimed so directly at this particular outlet.
