I dropped off 15 cashmere sweaters to be dry cleaned . I went away and received multiple emails and text messages that it was ready . When I returned I picked up the dry cleaning , to my dismay all of my sweaters weren't there I called a numerous amount of times and left messages .. no one every picked up or called me back . I revisited the store and found the remainder of my clothes . When I got home I saw that one sweater so far isn't properly cleaned and another sweater the stitching is completely undone . I'm not happy with the service I received at all . I won't be going back ! Thanks . read more

Going on 4 years as their pickup/delivery wash/fold customer and we're happier than ever with their impeccable service that isn't just for people with money, for as luxurious as it feels. The dozens of hours a month and angst it saves us makes it all worth it. 24hour door-to-door turn around and they have amazing customer service too! When covid hit, we had stopped using the neighborhood laundromats, opting for my in-laws about 10 blocks away, but doing laundry there would take the whole weekend in between everyone else using the machines and we were often concerned about the wear-n-tear on their washer and dryer. The laundry in our building's basement was always a nightmare, cards that never zero-out, machines that break every other use, dryers that take forever, and the worst...having to pass through the fly and vermin-infested garbage/recycling area to get to the laundry room. No thanks! Come December, sciatica had rendered my husband immobile for weeks. Then soon as he started to recover, vertigo landed him in the hospital. Meanwhile, our laundry had piled up to the point I had started to hand wash underwear! Then out of the blue on a podcast about entrepreneurship the interviewer said, "the best thing I ever did for my quality of life when we were still struggling financially was stop doing our laundry." I remember literally scoffing, "Who would want someone else touching their laundry? I love folding and putting away our clothes." Then I paused, "Was this a message from the universe sent in my time of need?...Let me do the numbers. No more purchasing detergent/softeners, no more packing up laundry and walking blocks and waiting for machines or dealing with any that or waiting but not in the comfort of home where I could get stuff done...." These were desperate times and this one-off, "let me try this" felt like a way to just get me out of the hole, or actually out from beneath the heap. When our laundry was picked up and returned so quickly and beautifully, I thought, "yea, it's definitely time to stop doing our own laundry until we live in an apartment with our own in-unit washer/dryer." Thank goodness my husband healed and yet we've never even considered stopping this service. read more

Just wanted to give an update. We've been using The Urban Wash for almost 5 years now and still appreciate their service SO much! We actually live out of their delivery range now, but they continue to pick up and drop off our clothes so quickly, and everything is always clean, neat and smells great. The owner is friendly, professional and has a great communication system (texts when clothes are picked up, washed and ready to be dropped off). We wouldn't trust our clothes with anyone else. I have been using The Urban Wash for about 9 months and they are consistent. They follow my instructions, and actually use the correct detergent I specify! (If you have allergies like me, you will know how important that is!) Everything comes back on time, well washed and folded. I can't find anyone else who can match them. read more

I've had a great experience with The Urban Wash pick-up & drop-off service. They're very professional and do a great job on my clothes. Scheduling pick-up is easy, they arrive right on time, and drop off my laundry the next day (or thereabouts) perfectly folded. The first time they used scented detergent, which I didn't love, but since then I request "unscented" and it hasn't been a problem whatsoever. The mark of a solid company! Recommend! read more

Great so far! The delivery person was so kind during pickup and drop off and the pick-up/drop-off was exactly on time. It was so precise that the person arrived no more than 15 minutes into the pickup/ drop off window. I also like that they followed my notes (separate whites and no scented detergent). I am astounded - have never received dry cleaning this bad. Clothes came back as if there were not properly washed, stains still on a blouse (I noted it when the driver picked it up) and three coats were not feeling fresh (my white coat turned kinda yellowish? And still had stains on the hemline). Also, found a disposable glove inside of the pocket in one of my coats!! Extremely unpleasant experience!!!What was the point of using their service, if they can't do a proper job, a waste of money. read more

I'm new to Urban wash. My daughter and I started going to urban wash for 3 weeks now. The machines are nice and clean. The laundromat could be a little bigger, kind of small inside. However for a small machine $2.75, the machines wash nice, and I like that you can pay for a sanitized wash, pay 25 cent for an extra rinse. Today(3/9/2022), My daughter and I returned. we do our laundry every week and to our surprise, the small machine's are now $3.00. We were there last week and they were $2.75. I know it's just 25 cent, but is this going to be a pattern? Every week Urban wash is going up 25 cent on all machine's? read more

I have never used a pick up and delivery laundry service. This place was recommended and I must say they are great! During these circumstances due to Covid I was worried how I would clean my clothes. I don't have a washer or dyer in my home and was worried about venturing to a laundromat. I highly recommend. The drivers are friendly and clothes are neatly folded and smell so clean!!! So far, so good. Love that they have flexible hours and can often pick up earlier or deliver later than other laundry mats. They've been reliable and friendly. In addition, they have an online system to make an appointment for pick-ups. They will also text with updates and cost of laundry before delivery. I would suggest that everybody pre-sort in color coded laundry bags (bags are about a dollar and can be found in those 99 cent stores) to save money and to ensure that you that your laundry is done well and consistently. read more
