Honestly, we weren't expecting much. But after the first bite, we were all surprised. The chicken tasted just like Korean fried chicken (and we're Korean!), and it was incredibly crispy. It seemed like they used fresh oil because the coating was light, clean, and not greasy at all. All three families tried it, and everyone agreed it was delicious. We ended up coming back later that evening to order more for the adults! We got the sauce on the side, and it tasted just like authentic Korean sweet and spicy fried chicken sauce. I know this place specializes in hot dogs, so I never expected the popcorn chicken to be this good. It was honestly one of the best Korean-style fried chicken flavors we've had, and the price was very reasonable too. I really wish they would open a location in our neighborhood. Not every place that claims to serve Korean fried chicken actually tastes like it, but this one absolutely does. If you're looking for authentic Korean-style fried chicken, I highly recommend giving their popcorn chicken a try!

What makes it even more disappointing is that later I visited a different booth at the same event that was selling full-size 16-ounce water bottles for just $1 each. The difference in pricing was shocking and says a lot about this catering service's pricing practices. I would not recommend them based on this experience.
