However, as soon as I was escorted through the first door by a tall, slender, older blonde staff member to apply an extended wear monitor, the experience changed. While the procedure was performed correctly, her demeaning behavior and lack of warmth made the interaction uncomfortable and upsetting. It was disappointing to encounter this level of unprofessionalism after a strong initial impression. I hope the institute addresses this, as the skill level of their staff is evident, but respectful and compassionate communication should be consistent throughout the patient experience.

No one from their office called, I called twice, always being told someone would call me back to follow up. I was refusing to pay for the co-pay until someone called me to schedule the MRI. The only person that ever called was the person in bill collection threatening to send me to collections over $35. That's all this doctor and his staff are worth. These people don't care.......I will never go back and obviously would not recommend them to anyone.

Thank you to all of you, and also the 2 new nurses introduced to me in the operating room as I was saying hello while succumbing to the anesthesia. I remember laughing to myself as they wheeled me down the hall, and saying I felt like a famous formula 1 driver and they were my superstar pit crew! They know how to help you relax and have a little fun before and after the procedures. I've had four different surgeons. They were all top notch. The facility is clean, busy and full of people who care and try to make your procedure as smooth as possible. I rather enjoyed the chatter amongst the staff. It showed me that they enjoyed their job and their co-workers. It was a true team experience. I highly recommend any of their Monterey facilities.

Dr.Hwhang, was brisk and distant, I didn't feel seen or heard. immediately spoke about prescribing methadone, and other sedative medications, She seemed not to understand that my goal is to be alert and able to drive. She then prescribed seven day supply of the sedative medication, I was informed that refills were dependent on virtual "pain-level check in " which would occur either Monday or Friday, between the hours of 8-5. I informed my referring PC that I did not want to continue with that agency and would seek another agency and for . I also informed the office staff who I would give a five star rating to. We're not for the fact that this morning out of the I got another call from Dr. Hwong said I'm calling to check on your pain level. I am relocating and I will be looking for another specialist.
