This seems to be a restaurant in transition ... no staff, perhaps just the owners ... I will not be back.

The food was not only cold, oily, dry and not good tasting but it was also an unacceptable amount that was given. Horrible experience!!!!!!

Spanikopita was good. Greek omelet only had feta cheese in it, no tomatoes, no spinach, just feta cheese. Waitress was nice.

Filled with plenty of fresh greens, quinoa, tomatoes and lots of chicken. Shaved Parmesan cheese and walnuts made a delicious complement to the other ingredients and the pesto vinaigrette was the perfect dressing! My wife loved her apple salad with shredded kale, wild rice, apple, dried cranberry, toasted almonds and plenty of roasted chicken. She substituted mozzarella cheese for the goat cheese that is normally in the salad for a slight up charge. The salad is finished off with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The orange dreamsicle smoothie was also excellent. Made with banana, orange, vanilla and almond milk... a tasty sweet treat to enjoy with my salad. The service was excellent as well. The friendly and knowledgeable staff helped me decide on which Smoothie to order as I was mulling over the Raspberry, Strawberry and Orange Dreamsicle. We both liked how we received a choice regarding the amount of dressing we wanted for our salad. Light, medium, heavy or on the side. Being a dressing lover I opted for heavy dressing, while my wife asked for hers somewhere between light and medium. She probably should have just gone with medium as it seemed not quite enough for her taste. Homegrown is set up where you order at the counter and can watch as the staff creates your salad or bowl. There was plenty of seating to handle the lunch crowd which grew as we dined at our table. I would definitely recommend Homegrown for your next outing for a quick, healthy and delicious lunch or dinner. We will definitely be back!

She went with the Buffalo tofu salad, and I ordered No Big Dill (falafel, Kalamata olives, feta, dill dressing) - I'm in a hardcore dill phase right now. My favorite part about Homegrown is how everything is chopped up and tossed together so perfectly, with the dressing lightly coating every bite. Honestly, how nice would it be to have someone make a salad like this for me regularly?! The only drawback is the price. My bowl was ~$20, which felt a little steep for a salad. That said, it was fresh, filling, and really well prepared.

I have severe food allergies,…read moreincluding dairy, eggs, and gluten, and the only breakfast I ever get to eat is the one I make for myself at home. I honestly can't remember the last time I was able to order breakfast at a restaurant. While visiting Buffalo with my boyfriend in November 2025, his college friend spent the morning taking us to several restaurants trying to find a place where I could safely eat. After striking out everywhere else, Betty's was our last stop--and what a blessing it was! Alice, our host, was warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure my food allergies were handled safely. I was able to order a bacon, "egg" and avocado sandwich made to accommodate my allergies, and it was incredible. I hadn't enjoyed a breakfast sandwich from a restaurant in over a decade! It was so delicious that I went back again before leaving Buffalo and even ordered another sandwich to take home. For anyone living with food allergies, you know how rare it is to find a restaurant that truly understands safe food preparation while still serving amazing food. I'm from New York City, and I still haven't found a place that compares. 1,000 stars! I can't recommend Betty's highly enough.

The vibe is so right, in fact this restaurant has a personality of its own, which matches its amazing eclectic selection of delicious foods. On beautiful sunny Spring, Summer or Autumn days you can enjoy the neighborhood on the patio or you can always choose to dine in one of their several comfortable dining rooms all of which feature art (Some of which you can purchase ) that will get you leaving your seat for a closer look. We were rewarded with two truly special brunch items ... a layered "French toast" that I stared at as a diner near me ate hers and an orange infused pair of delicious waffles. They were perfect and filling (This ended up as our only meal on this beautiful Sunday.). The quality of service matched the food ... we lingered soaking in the atmosphere just enjoying life at Betty's. When asked by neighbors where we went for brunch we said "Betty's" and they smiled knowingly. Once you're familiar with Betty's you've found a friend.

Next time we will be trying the dessert and other meals on the menu!!! By the way it is a bit limited and the dining hours end by 3pm I believe.
