Once they did, they brought 2 trays of 4" skewers, and a bowl (not a tTy) of salad for 20 people. No rolls or bread. I was just there recently. The service was decent but a bit annoying. She kept bothering us and bringing drinks to our table which were not ours. As for the food. I had the smallest French dip sandwhich I've ever seen. And the sides were just as small. At $3.99 for a side you should get some quantity. My order of Cole slaw couldn't have been 2 ounces. Two bites and it was gone and it wasn't that good. Our table also ordered a burger cooked medium and it look like a dried out hockey puck. As for the Ambiance to only reason we chose this joint was a musician was playing on his acoustic guitar. We had to move our seats. So I gave this place another try in person because it's so close to where I live and I've enjoyed meals here in the past. The ambiance is pleasant but nothing special. Lighting in the booths was brighter than I'd prefer. Nevertheless we were glad to have a booth. It was roughly 6:30pm on a Saturday night and pretty crowded. It was mostly empty by 7:45pm when the live band started (flyers said it would start at 7pm though honestly no worries). We ordered drinks and they were out of Kendall Jackson Chardonnay so went with the other option, which was okay, but really below okay the more sips taken. The owner came by and said he'd see if he could find some KJ Chardonnay, but never followed up with me and felt like disingenuous talk. My friend said this was pretty typical- that he would promise but not follow through. Saw him chatting at other tables and it was clear that my request wasn't important in the scheme of everything. I barely tolerated the no brand Chardonnay and didn't order another glass. Was honestly most disappointed by the owner's lack of follow through. He could have at least told me they were indeed out of KJ Chardonnay and apologized. As for food, I ordered the Turkey Reuben with the special fries, which cost $1.99 more... sadly not worth it. I ate a few fries and let my friend have whatever she wanted. I liked that the fries were thicker but they were greasy and overcooked. The Turkey Reuben was okay but nothing to rave about. The time spent with my friend was the highlight, but nothing else to speak highly about food-wise. It was okay and not great. No problem with the service; she was very sweet and responsive. I could live without ever returning here, but since it's so close to home I'm rooting for them to get their act together! I love to support our local restaurants, but need something to support. Driven by Quimby's for years but never tried the place. Girlfriend and I discovered they host trivia weekly so we decided to check it out. Amazingly attentive staff and a cool bar setting. Food was really delicious with a great variety. Id give them five stars but they don't sauce their boneless wings and it really detracted from the food. Sauce on the side isn't it. We hosted a surprise party for my MIL on a Friday night. The room was the perfect size for our 40 guests. The service was beyond top notch. The manager was our waiter and we never wanted for a thing. He was fast, so friendly, helpful and 100% accurate. The food was delicious-we had the catered items-veggie tray, spinach and artichoke dip, Caesar & Italian pinwheels, pork egg rolls, homemade chips and homemade pita chips. Our server did his best under awful circumstances (and we rewarded him nicely). Did see several more workers show up but 90 minutes later we finally got our food. The food was good but should not have taken that long. Was unaware of half off for mothers. My husband told at the very end of our meal while waiting for the check. At that time as half had already cashed out only 2 of the 4 mothers at the table got the discount. I finally ventured into Quimby's and boy was I disappointed. I asked for my burger medium well because I'm not a huge fan of pink, but wow did they go overboard. My burger, the Homer Burger, was so well done it crumbled to dust and tasted like ash. Not only that, I didn't taste any BBQ sauce at all. The whole thing was a mess, both literally and figuratively. The sidewinder fries were equally disappointing. They too seemed to have been pushed to the edge of being burned to a crisp. Their craft beer list they tell you to ask your server about? Yeah don't bother because they don't really have any. Take the five most produced "craft" beers you can think of and that's what they have. Disappointing especially since they are now part of the Forest View family (which to be fair was the only reason this place likely popped up on my radar again). The only good thing may have been the service, both for myself and for other customers I saw dining. But the terrible burger will lead me elsewhere from now on. read more

Went here after a family picture day, so there were 8 of us dining, including kids and a baby. Our server was absolutely phenomenal and was very attentive and brought us our items in a very timely manner. She was great with the kids and they even hugged her on the way out. What a nice place!! Staff is friendly, food is wonderful and it's a really cute place! We went out with friends and we all loved our meals. I had the seafood fettuccine and the sauce was made fresh, it was really good. Hamburgers were huge and cooked exactly how requested. Fries are fun-huge spirals of potato. I ordered a raspberry cosmo-something they'd never made. The bartender nailed it, it was the best I've ever had!! We will be back for sure. This place is a keeper!!! read more

We placed Quimby's back in our regular rotation of dining places again after an extended absence. Not because they were ever bad, but because they stop selling Yukon jack for a while. But Yukon Jack is back and now Yukon Jim is back. My wife enjoyed sushi grade Ahi Tuna and she reports as the best she's ever had. I had barbecue pork chops and they're absolutely delicious. Our appetizer was a hummus plate and it was delectable. The drink prices were very reasonable. .. our beer was Shock Top "Twisted Pretzel Wheat " @ $3 a pint. That's good! My Yukon Jack and Coke was well priced too. The place was crazy busy but servers and bartenders hustled the best they could. It rocked. read more

The food is really good here. They used to have an amazing grilled cheese sandwich but I haven't seen it on the menu the last few times I was there (it had cream cheese in it as well and was so gooey and delicious). We tend to go on our lunch hour, however we have learned that even if they aren't busy, we'll be there longer than an hour because occasionally the service is a little slow - friendly and helpful, but slow. We walked in expecting it to be a typical bar type place with mediocre food, but surprisingly they have a decent menu and the food that comes out is good. It's in one end of a strip plaza, and is much larger than you'd think it's going to be. And tellingly, the place has been packed every time we've been here. read more

Rude hostess every time I'm there. Will sit you next to the restroom every chance they can , especially when there's tons of other empty seats. Huffs and puffs when you ask to be moved. They've tried to seat me there the last two times. Second time I was moved directly next to a table of six with three little kids who ran around the table the entire meal. I had the Shepherds Pie advertised as having carrots, peas, beef and potatoes. I think mine had 2 small pieces of carrot and maybe 2 peas. They should have advertised the tons of salt because mine had lots. So salty I couldn't eat it. We will definitely not go back. read more
