so many things wrong with this restaurant. we ordered a grilled cheese, mac and cheese, and loaded fries. the grilled cheese came with lobster bisque and a side of mac and cheese as well as a pickle. the pickle had to have been house made, it was like a cucumber that walked by vinegar once but got scared. couldn't take more than a bite. the lobster bisque... i didn't even know it was lobster. it was red, oily, warm milk? not even a hint of taste and was honestly just so weird. didn't get past a spoonful. the grilled cheese came out looking good, but it was made with deli sliced cheese which is fine but it wasn't fully melted. it also had zero seasoning and was so bland i felt like i had negative taste buds from eating it. the mac and cheese is literally what they serve to you in the school cafeteria, and i'll put money on that. i tried salt, but there was no saving that. the noodles were so overcooked and the cheese was so solidified that it was a big hunk of mush, not mac and cheese. the loaded fries were actually pretty good, but i think it's hard to mess up? well you would think a grilled cheese is hard to mess up too and look where we're at. the second part of this review is on the extremely weird and uncomfortable environment. right as i close the stall door, i am met with a dinosaur reading a book (ai generated, as you can tell from the photo) which is just oddly placed and not on theme.. but whatever. then, on the wall where the toilet is, there's pictures of shirtless men? i can sort of see how this is "vintage" but just an odd choice, but ok. benefit of the doubt. i sit down to use the restroom and notice the gap in the stall door... photo attached. the blue in the gap is the door to the restroom, so when that door swings open, anyone around can look into the gap in the stall and see in. no privacy, and the gap is exactly lined up with where your thighs are when you sit to use the restroom, seems purposefully designed. finally, another ai generated picture is of the two men in the bathtub... i want to know who's arm stub that is in the middle? and why are they in the bathtub together? what does this have to do with the prohibition/1920s era? and why is all of it ai generated and weird!!! no wonder this place was empty. not coming back

Our server felt a bit inexperienced, but he made up for it in personality and friendliness. We had a large group, but a few drinks were brought out wrong and things were forgotten about, but we weren't charged for the extra drinks and they drinks were inexpensive to begin with! Most of us got the crab legs, and despite them not having enough crab crackers we enjoyed them so much! We expected a cheap small portion of crab since it's so inexpensive compared to other places, but we got a full pound (if not more) each and they were delicious! They had a great live band that wasn't overly loud and had some pretty good covers. People were dancing and having a great time. Don't come here expecting 5-star service, but come expecting to have a lot of fun, great crab, and without breaking the bank! We will absolutely be back.

The food was good it took FOREVER... but we had mozzarella sticks, fried chicken sandwich', onion rings, fries the fisherman's platter and a Cuban sandwich. Everyone thought the food was good. We had some beer and wine too. Overall I would return but be on island time!

Just walk through for a memorable event. "Les" was working the bar, and was friendly and very efficient. He took my order and in no time flat I was enjoying an excellent coffee called the "Dalgona". This is A Korean whipped coffee drink made by whipping together double shots of espresso and sweet cream and adding to the top of vanilla sweetened milk. It was delicious!! Coffee options include Espresso & Lattes, Specialty Lattes, Craft Brewed Coffee - including French Press, Pour Overs, and Frappes. There are several Tea options as well including matcha, green, chai, Yerba Mate, and Black (to name a few). This is a really cool place with exceptional drinks! The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.

I signaled the bartender to let her know there was no fish, only batter, when suddenly approached by someone from the kitchen. I told him there were two small pieces of fish amongst this pile of batter and I was not satisfied with the meal. He has said, making excuses that he had cooked it himself and that it was fine. He took my plate of batter and walked off with an attitude. Recommend the fish and chips. The cook was rude and disrespectful. Definitely not at all what expected. I will never be back.
