As the evening went on, our party grew from two to six, so we grabbed a table. To our surprise, Tay transitioned from bartender to waitress, and somehow her service got even better. She never missed a beat. Since it was happy hour, we sampled several menu items, including the honey lemon pepper wings and fries, fried shrimp and fries, salmon bites and fries, fried green tomatoes, and the cornbread. Every single thing we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. There wasn't one item we regretted trying. Of course, we couldn't leave without ordering a hookah, and it was hitting! Smooth, flavorful, and lasted throughout the night. One thing I really appreciated was the atmosphere. It wasn't overly packed, but it had a nice crowd with great energy. The vibe leaned more mature, with mostly people in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s, which made for a relaxed, enjoyable evening. They have two bars, plenty of seating, and even an outdoor patio area if you want a little fresh air or a more private space. Parking was free and conveniently located on-site, which is always a plus. The bathrooms were also worth mentioning--small, nicely decorated, and very clean. The prices were another pleasant surprise. Happy hour food ranged around $8-$10, hookah was about $20, and the drinks were around $8. Great food, quality drinks, and hookah without breaking the bank? That's a win. I was told Wednesday has even better specials, but Thursday definitely didn't disappoint. Overall, ATL Hookah Lounge exceeded my expectations.
