A bit of small town, with some Very fun big town items. Stopped by here en route to picking my mom up from NorCal and thought this place seemed like a nice hometown feeling place, and I was right. Super hospitable staff, very Americana guests (farmers, cowboy looking folk), and a nostalgia of Christianity sprinkled around. And it was very nice. The Waffle Spot, which is only open for breakfast and lunch, has your staple of items waffles (of course), sandwiches and chiliquilles this Spot has fancy takes on hometown staples. After a cup of what I would call the world's best cup of coffee, we dug into the lunch. After a filling meal I felt satisfied and marked my yelp to eat back here on the way back down to LA. If you're in the area and are looking for a great breakfast and a bit of Americana then stop by the Waffle Spot for a bit of fried goodness and something new for lunch. Enjoy!

First time here. I kind of expected better. I ordered a burger. It was good. I did not like the French fries. They weren't completely cooked. I don't like mushy fries. Hubby got a chili verde omelette. He said it was "ok". The waitress was not very attentive. Only have Coke products . I did like that they give you a carafe of coffee so you don't have to ask for refills all the time! I think it was probably a cute place at one time. Could use an overhaul. I'm willing to try again.

The best waffle I've ever had, but you'd expect it from a place called waffle spot. I had the waffle with fresh strawberries. I asked because the picture had the glazed type, which typically is too sweet. They did not include the glaze. The waffle had a nice flavor and bite to them. I know where to go next time I'm up in the area. Please bring waffle spot down to my town.

This place is amazing! The servers were all very kind and got us seated and served quickly even though they were busy. My wife loved the chicken wrap and the peanut butter banana waffles were a great recommendation. When you walk in it gives an old diner and grandmas kitchen combined vibe to make for a very homey atmosphere.

Our delicious breakfasts. Strawberry Waffle Combo, and Peanut Butter Banana Waffle Combo. YUM YUM YUM!

Bf and I wanted some breakfast. We've never been to this establishment before, so we decided to go. I had just gotten off a graveyard shift, so I was pretty much a zombie when I came in. That didn't stop me from devouring the amazing strawberry waffles that I had! The only drawback was that there was a bit too much strawberry syrup on the waffles. My bf however, didn't have any complaints. He loved his peanut butter banana waffles. He also loved that his fried egg was fried right. We both had the combos with our waffles, which includes eggs however you'd like, along with bacon or sausage for a meat. Overall, the food was delicious and tasty. The restaurant itself is cozy, it felt like I was dining in someone's cute kitchen/dining room with a homey set up. The service was also great-the waiter was fast and friendly. I didn't get her name, but she made the whole experience pleasant.

The server was very nice and helpful, we were first timers. Food was fresh and hot. A classic style diner with some Latin fusion. We had Chilequiles and the no meat platter (potatoes, eggs, and waffle). The Chilequiles was not spicy to me. The flavors were really good.

She got us seated quickly and kept our drinks filled with ninja-like speed throughout our visit. I believe the young man who took our order was Tommy, (senior moments) and he did a great job. My buddy ordered the Chili Verde Plate, and wow--it looked so good I almost wished I had ordered it myself! Instead, I went with the Ribeye Plate cooked well done, and I have to say, the cook absolutely nailed it. What impressed us even more was how fast the food came out--about 5 to 10 minutes after ordering. Vanessa, Tommy, and the rest of the staff checked on us regularly and made sure everything was perfect. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the entire experience was on point. Place had a fun farm theme, from the exterior red barn style architecture, to the barn doors between the dining area and booths, and the all American decor. It was very packed for a Friday morning but we were able to get seated within a few minutes and our server had great hospitality. And when I say... the portions here are GENEROUS - believe me! I couldn't believe how much food you get for your order, and the best part is, every bite hit. I decided to veer out of what I typically get for breakfast and did a lil sweet and savory moment and got the stuffed French toast with a sweet cream cheese filling and strawberry topping, and it came with 2 eggs of your choice, potato of choice, and either bacon or sausage. Bacon had the perfect amount of crisp, I asked for my hash browns extra crispy and they hit it on the nose. My partner got a bacon cheese burger. Bun was toasted, patty was flavorful, bacon was bussin, and he said they don't seem to skimp out at all on the fries! Price was very very reasonable for the portions, about $45 for this- my partner is from the Bay Area and so he's used to this quality of food and portions to be $$$$$$ and he even said this was such a deal! Family friendly place for sure, employees are super attentive, and left satisfied with the meal and service. If you're in town, or even passing through, this is the place to check out for breakfast.

We visited on a weekday and were seated within a few minutes. We sat outside since we had our dog, which was a nice option. The food was good, though I do wish the chilaquiles had come with sour cream and a bit more chicken. Chile verde burrito was yummy! Service was fine and everything came out in a reasonable time. Only downside was the restroom situation-there's just one, and even though I locked the door, someone still walked in right as I was coming out of the stall... super awkward and uncomfortable Overall, a solid spot with big portions and a relaxed vibe on a weekday. I'd come back, just with a couple small improvements in mind.

Everyone was so nice, Jessica…read moreespecially was super attentive, our coffees were always full, our food came out at a decent time and it was still nice and hot and she was so friendly throughout our time here, so Jessica if you ever see this, Thank you so much, we appreciate you! We happened to be in the area today with a failed trip to Lithia Ford for a car repair. We both were hungry and needed to choose between breakfast or Mexican food, we flipped a coin and the coin chose breakfast. I'm glad it did, cause right when we were heading towards another breakfast spot, we made the quick decision to just choose what was nearby. It's a restaurant name we've heard of, but haven't been, so we opted to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Because the food was amazing and the service just as much! Parking lot was full but not too crazy, that luckily came after we were seated. Inside was nicely themed to Louisiana Bayou with gators and cute signs with quotes and a big tree in the seating area with sound effects of bugs from the swamp. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a nice greeting from one of the busy waitresses who let us know we would be seated in a moment. Our server Jessica came up with a smile and a warm welcome and had us follow her to our booth. We both started off with coffee and browsed the menu, this menu had some usual fair but definitely stayed in the theme of the restaurant with Louisiana cuisine, like andouille sausage as a breakfast meat choice. I went with their "Hucks Platter" which is 3 eggs anyway you want, choice of potatoes or hashbrowns and you can choose between a couple varieties of meats, steak, chicken fried steak, sausage, bacon and andouille. It also comes with a choice of side, being toast, homemade biscuit or their huckleberry bread? I played it safe and went with the white toast. I also went with the bacon cause I love me some bacon! It was hickory smoked and my goodness it was cooked to perfection! My whole meal was cooked perfectly! I truly appreciate the cooking staff for doing such an amazing job during a busy morning. Jess chose the Banana Foster French Toast and my goodness! It looked just as good if not better than the picture. It was loaded, thick and comes with a side of eggs and your choice of meat. She loved the French toast, she's never had Bananas Foster before but she said it was decadent, sweet and had a nice caramelized flavor. Would recommend and also get it again! We paid, "with tip" around $57, which isn't bad for most breakfast spots now a days. Especially when you're getting this kind of food quality and service. We never went without a fresh hot cup of coffee and a nice check in from Jess or one of the other servers to pick up a plate or ask us how we're doing. I do apologize for no pictures, when the food came out, it looked so good we just dug right in! We both would absolutely come back and eat here again if we're in the area or back in Fresno looking for a breakfast spot. If you're in and or from here, you should definitely make this your go-to breakfast spot!
