We were seated right away with a table or booth option. Our timing was perfect for lunch. We started with amazing soups, the chicken and rice and the black bean cream salsa, which each was fantastic. Warm fresh baked DELICIOUS bread with butter was soft and filling! We then shared a Tuscany for two which was so huge, we would have been satisfied splitting a one serving size. The warm salad with artichokes, roasted veggies was complimented with the honey mustard vinaigrette. Plenty to take home.

Another find. We were vacationing in Dan's 50th state and stumbled on this amazing restaurant and two others. Absolutely great food and wonderful wait staff. Cozy little place in a strip mall but we felt so comfortable and the atmosphere was high end. The spin dip was exceptional as was their crostini.

Side of fettuccine Alfredo. It had cloves of garlic in it... so good!

I was in town for work and called the restaurant to put in an order for pick up. The food was delicious and I got a huge portion! I ordered the ribeye steak and it came with two sides. Each side could almost be a meal. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Was in Bismarck for son's away football game and found this gem!! Place was very intimate and loved the marble tables. Service was prompt & pleasant. Ordered salads & pizza. Salad was fresh & croutons superb. The pizza was to die for. To top it off they boxed the extra pizza by separating the layers with foil so it did not stick together. Nice touch. If you're in Bismarck you need to stop by and don't be turned off that it is in strip mall.

Cool spot, great ambiance, superb service and food was fantastic. Chris is our waiter and he is phenomenal, friendly, knowledgeable and extremely attentive. We had the sammich, marvelous, garlic fries To Die For , homemade soups unbelievably good, as was the Sante Fe Sandwich. Glad we stopped as it was recommended by Tondra at Home 2 Suites. Love Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc!

I haven't commented about Covid safety while dining out in a long time, I eat almost exclusively outdoors. Now that there seems to be a National spike with a new variant, let me say that the Walrus has no outdoor space and it was PACKED inside. It is clearly a popular and much loved place. We were just picking up food to go. We were greeted by a truly charming host who set us up with menus, discussed some favorite items, and was generally helpful throughout. A waitress came by and efficiently took our order and let us know it would be about 20 minutes. We walked around the bland strip mall. It may have been a bit longer than 20 minutes till our food was ready but it was worth it. We started with a spinach pizza which was good, not too exciting (in the flavor dept.) but my husband, a true pizza snob, liked it and that's saying a lot. We followed that with cheese tortellini with asparagus and mushrooms which was delicious. Caution: don't try to eat this in your car as we did, it's saucy and messy. We saved for last a roasted vegetable (not the name on the menu) salad, I had been reluctant to try to eat it in the car. It also was quite tasty and I didn't even need any of the honey mustard dressing. The prices were very reasonable on this very extensive menu, lots of vegetarian/pescatarian options. I'd recommend.

Our waitress was very ditsy, but the the food was great and the proportions were large. We both had lunch set for the next day!

This has been a favorite place of mine since Randy! I love the Tomato Basil soup, and their stuffed pastas and baked pastas are the best!

I had a very upsetting experience at Broadway Grill that I feel others -- especially those with…read morefood allergies or celiac disease -- should be aware of. This happened a while back, but it bothered me so much I still think about it, so I decided to finally write a review. I ordered a gluten-free pasta dish and clearly informed the waitress that I am gluten intolerant (celiac). When the dish was brought out, I noticed a single regular noodle sitting right in the middle of the pasta. It was visibly different from the gluten-free noodles. Thankfully, I spotted it before taking a bite. Cross-contamination is a serious issue for people with celiac disease, and even one noodle can make us very sick. I asked for the dish to be taken back and explained that I was too nervous to reorder it because I didn't want to risk getting sick. Instead, I ordered a simple green side salad and specifically requested no croutons. A few bites into the salad, I found a crouton. At that point, I was extremely upset and honestly tearful. I informed the manager and explained how serious this is for me. I asked for the salad to be removed from my bill, given that it also contained gluten after I clearly requested it not to. They refused. For anyone with celiac disease or a serious gluten intolerance, this was not just an inconvenience -- it was a health risk. The repeated lack of attention to a clearly communicated medical dietary restriction, followed by the refusal to remove the contaminated item from the bill, was deeply disappointing. I hope the restaurant takes food allergies more seriously in the future and improves its kitchen practices and staff training so no one else has to go through this. Since this experience, I have never been back and would recommend others avoid going back to this restaurant.
