Incredible beer and spirits selection, great apps, and tremendous burgers. Really happy with my first experience here.

Amazing Brunch at the Bar with Bloodies, also Eggs Benedict best ever.

The Great Danny Meyer asks the question, is it the Service or the Food? Fortunately for us it's both at the Tavern. In all my years of Dining at this Gem they give you the feeling of Community and Consistency. The new Menu and Chef put out 5 entrees and appetizers of perfection. They have stepped it up even more to our liking. Go and see for yourselves, and become part of a special place. Thank you JB

Great spot for casual dinner or date night. Tastefully decorated with a picture window through a book case for the kitchen or a turn of the century bar top. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was comfort items overall and also well done. There was some variability in the salt of each dish, but it was on the side of needing a little extra salt for our taste which was easily remedied.

Food, owner, and old Boston neighborhood bar charm! What more could you ask for? We entered in which the owner was chatting with regulars. He recognized people in my party and began to chat with them. They hadn't been back there for years. That speaks volumes about someone who remembers his customers what's later. Clearly, they value everyone that walks through their doors. On top of the quick service the food was unreal! My husband got a special pork chop dish that was so tender and flavorful and I got the bolognese which had a great spice and was very filling. I couldn't eat the whole portion so I took a to got box, was just as good the next day! A must visit again!

Friendly service, great food, and good tap selection of NE beers. Some of the best raw oysters I've had in a while!

Always love going to this wonderful neighborhood place! It's noisy, so ask to sit in the back if that matters to you.

The grad has Celiac and they were happy to use all gluten free ingredients for everything - including the amazing crapes. The space was warm and welcoming. We had about 25 people. There was some space for grandparents and older guests to sit at the bar, but most people mixed and mingled. The staff was very attentive during the entire party. They treated my daughter like a queen and made sure she had everything she wanted and needed. Closing out the party was also quick and easy. All of the costs and fees were explained ahead of time, so there were no nasty surprises when it came time to pay. I know my daughter and her friends go to both Bar Lunette and the adjoining Paris Creperie often. Now, I just need another excuse to travel north again so I can go with them.

Night one we had an old fashion & the knee deep in passenger seat--both top notch! I paid more for my old fashioned earlier at the Ritz--this one was way better! With our daughter we had almost the rest of the menu: tropic like its hot, dirty gin martini, sour smash (gin) then mahattan, espresso martini & dirty shirley float. And she sent us celebratory house daiquiri shots with a bday candle. This is our new "go to" place. Emily & her team (Becca & India) were awesome hosts & helped us celebrate & remember this moment.

I would go back just for that - crispy + slicing with scissors adds a whole other feel to it. I feel in control of my flatbread. Calamari was good but I'd choose the flatbread over anything. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, but it's super convenient to get to via the Green Line, which made it easy overall. For food, everything was delicious: The Romaine & Kale Caesar was good, though I wish it had whole anchovies for a little extra punch. The prosciutto bruschetta was incredible, definitely a standout. The crispy cauliflower was my favorite dish of the night, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The rigatoni bolognese was solid and comforting. The Chianti-Marsala braised beef short rib was insanely tender and cooked perfectly (just wish there were a few more mushrooms!). Also have to mention the dirty martini was so good. Overall, such a great spot with a fun vibe, amazing service, and really tasty food. I'll definitely be back!

They do both reservations and walk-ins but it's safer to make a reservation ahead if you can. It's pretty easy to make one as well; we only booked a day ahead for a Friday night. Amazing first impressions as well. They make a tiny space work perfectly; I did not feel claustrophobic at all even with full house. They have really cute decors and the space is decorated well. They have their seasonal cocktails that you can choose your choice of liquor for and martinis (both vodka and gin). They brew their espresso fresh as well so the space smells so good every time it is brewed. I got a Peru Plunder and it was fruity and light (a dangerous one). Their apple pie old fashioned has an interesting aftertaste in a good way. The bartender and the server were attentive and friendly as well.
