Great experience overall. Reached out late on a Saturday and Gordon responded very quickly. I explained the issue and he told me what it meant and why and what needed to be done - a new tank unfortunately. He quoted me a price on the unit (less than I expected) and told me they could be out on Monday morning, which I agreed to. They let me know what was needed of me prior to them arriving and were right on time Monday morning. Drama free pull out and install, including a catch pan and drain off pipe (would've been nice to have those before). Got the job done quickly, explained everything to me and we were good. Told us we did not need a new heater and he could repair it but since it was 5 years old already but we decided to have him put a new one in any. I called Gordon because my water heater was producing tepid water. The first thing he did on the phone was to make sure I really needed a repair visit and gave me some things to check. I have never had this happen on a repair call. Most places would come and charge you $60 to say there is nothing wrong. Once I determined there was really a problem, he was out the next morning, had the needed parts on his truck, and got it fixed for a lot less than I expected. I needed our water heater replaced & swapped out, as the original was making noises like a pair of work boots in a clothes dryer for quite some time. It was only a matter of time until that sucker leaked, even with draining it a few times a year. I think the original was coming on 14-15 years old. Gordon was extremely fast in responding to me via yelp messenger, answering all my questions up front as well as a binding bid that was very very reasonable. Once we set an appointment, Dan & Gordon notified me when they were nearby and showed up right on time. They had the old water heater drained and out in no time, and the new one in & hooked up very fast. All in, took them about an hour and a half start to finish.
