Wow. Absolutely beautiful brewery! The Watering Hole is an amazing find! The vibe here is unmatched--gorgeous outdoor seating right next to a rushing creek, and jaw-dropping interior decor milled from local timber. It is easily the most beautiful brewery I've ever stepped foot in. We only had drinks on this visit, but the neighboring tables kept talking about how incredible the food is. This is officially our new mandatory stop every time we visit Murphys!

Came for the burger :) My husband and I live in the East Bay and wanted to go on a lil drive. We decided on Murphy's for the Watering Hole burger which did not disappoint. We ordered 2 Double Cheese Burgers, the Broccoli Bacon Ranch Salad and an order of French Fries that included a side of ranch. All of what we ordered was delicious. The burgers come with double patties and are grilled along with the onions, the bun lightly toasted, soft and sweet and included a smear of 1,000 dressing. The burgers have 2 different types of cheese, fresh crispy shredded lettuce, pickles and sliced ripe tomato. It is the perfect combination and proportions of all ingredients. The Broccoli Bacon Ranch salad was not like anything I have had before and was a nice surprise to our taste buds. The salad included fresh bell peppers both yellow and red. It also had pickled onions, sunflower seeds, bacon and blue cheese that was all tossed together with ranch dressing which made it very convenient and easy to eat. Last but not least, the French Fries. They included a nice seasoning on the outside for a crispy texture and a creamy inside which I love. I liked the fact that they serve the fries with homemsde ranch and I didnt even have to ask for it...it's the little things for me. We sat inside to dine, I enjoyed seeing what others were eating, of course lots of burgers but also ribs, pasta, chicken sandwiches, salads and even cheese cake for dessert. I like that the menu offered a variety of options and brought great value for the quality and care that you can taste in every bite! I did not notice any issues with service as I saw other reviews reported. I would say that the inside, although cozy was a bit loud while others socialize. I think it was simply the high ceilings that carry the noise. The outside seating area is another option and is very nice as it's next to a stream which we would have chosen if it hadn't been 57° outside that day.

I and my husband went last saturday. This is rating for the location and restaurant building and seating and beer. I have not eat their food. So I can't comment on that. Basically I got too scare to even try to eat there, after reading other yelper's review. But afternoon, my husband and I went for beer, I have soda. Their beer is good. 1) Decor is very nice. They invested a lot 2) One of the bathroom, is interesting. (will show in photo) 3) Outdoor seating is very nice and next to a small creek, Very wonderful and relaxing area to hang out with family or friend. 4) they only has ice-cream bar in one small refrigerator area, no regular ice-cream, I did not eat.

GORGEOUS Inside & Out, AMAZING Vegan Impossible Burger! Being plant-based isn't always easy when traveling through small towns. Oftentimes it involves ordering "accidentally" vegan food such as chips & guac and salad with no dressing, but the Watering Hole became our dinner spot for two nights in a row for 3 reasons: 1. The INCREDIBLE Impossible Burger 2. The BEAUTIFUL creek 3. The ENCHANTING restaurant interior The burger was to die for. Straight up. I was absolutely obsessed with their hamburger buns from the first bite. One of the greatest vegan hamburgers I have ever had. The service was also fast and the staff were attentive and friendly at all times. Inside, the restaurant had a VERY homey feel without being cramped like many other "homey" style establishments. The SOARING tall ceilings and SPRAWLING space made you feel like you were in a luxury cabin (complete with an inviting fireplace with relaxation seating). Outside, an EXPANSIVE patio/deck would prove as a great space for large parties and we loved sitting outside listening to the gorgeous creek) With a bag of free popcorn, I finished the evening with a quick dip-of-the-feet in the creek and I cannot wait to return next time I visit Murphys!

This was our first time in and it's great! I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because they don't have any N/A beer. With their 40 beers and huge refrigerated beer selection, not one non-alcoholic beer to be had. I will say that the location is beautiful and clean, the service is great, and their beer selection was plentiful! There was a great food menu with lots of options. The food was really good and fairly priced. We will definitely be back. Fingers crossed for N/A beer in the future!

Really quality, tasty lunch at the Watering Hole today. A measure of spice in the coconut "infused" rice, coupled with pieces of pork belly and a ver nice dip. Great compliment to the beer that I also enjoyed. Loving it!

Interesting mix of reviews here -- we had a great experience. Huge selection of beers on tap, and available in bottles or cans. Nice food menu -- the mulligatawny soup was amazing!! -- and our at-the-counter service was excellent and friendly. Huge place, inside and out. We stayed for about 90 minutes just relaxing and enjoying. We'd definitely hit this spot again!

Probably the best burger and fries my husband and I have ever had... and that says a lot. Sat outside overlooking the river, and it was beautiful. Good selection of beer. We loved this place! It is an order at the counter and bus your own table place.

First the good. Lots of beer selections, 40 beers on tap, hundreds in the cooler. Now the bad. The owner has a total attitude and is a total turn off. We had a good lamb burger but the Fried Chicken Pizza sandwich was literally full of human hair. The owner argued it was "the cheese" and said "I don't see what you are seeing." That's balls arguing with someone patronizing your restaurant! After him making my daughter pull the hair out to prove to him it was hair (one of many I saw) the owner's attitude changed. Now, being a local and living here, this is the first owner I have experienced that needs some serious attitude adjustment in questioning a customer who complains about a health issue. Making someone "prove" to you there is hair in food is a deal breaker to ever coming here again. There is the "The Pour House" down the street and they are extremely friendly. Also a local owner serving not just tourists but locals and understands the value of a small local community reputation. I am sure the owner will blow this off with his pompous attitude but word spreads fast in town. Being 75% empty on a Saturday at 6:30pm was a sign something isn't working well. The owner should take a good look at how he runs his business. I was so ticked I forgot to take a photo of it but 9 years of restaurant reviews and eating at hundreds of restaurants, we know human hair is not cheese! Insulting a customer is one of the worst things on top of denial. Won't be back and suggest you skip it. The sad part is the staff working the counter are really nice and deserve better. 2 stars

Great experience with friends. Friendly place and locals! Everyone saying all the food was great! Ribs were super tender and the bon mi was good. Started dry on the outside but great flavor and solid sando! Will come again!

Wouldn't come here, I'm wondering if they are rude to people from out of town on purpose. Next time I would just put a sign up that visitors will not be welcomed and treated poorly. The girls working were so unbelievably rude. After the snarky "what do you want" at the start of the night, that should have been our sign to leave. The service was very slow, they were busy but met with attitude every time we got another round. At the end of the night we got our bill and luckily someone in our group caught that we were charged $25 for a trucker hat which none of us requested to purchase. We brought this to the girl's attention and her response was "well that's why I told you to check the bill." In a sarcastic and rude voice. I strongly believe based on this interaction that they charge unsuspecting out of town visitors for their merch and hope that people won't notice and then they just pocket the money? We then asked for a receipt which we never received.... Shady. I really cannot get over how rude the staff was and can't wait to try other places in Murphy's and never return to this establishment. Pretzel was yummy though. So they get two stars just for the pretzel.

A little over priced, imo, since you have no server and have to grab menus, table, water, etc yourself. Order at the register, they'll bring it to you. Lots of rotating options on tap! Tried a canned wine that wasn't to my fruition palate, but they have hard Seltzer and spurs that are absolutely delicious! Like a grown up Capri sun, so refreshing. Our favorite menu options are the pretzel and the Caesar salad. I also tried the shrimp tacos, and they were good, but fairly small portion of ingredients and shrimp for the price. I haven't tried any sandwiches yet, but those look promising. Sandwiches and tacos come with chips, or you can upgrade to fries or salad. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. I like the vibes and they usually have pretty decent food. I was really excited to see that they had Beer Slushies and Non-Alcoholic Slushies on their menu. They also came in different sizes - I got a 5 oz glass of each. I loved the Beer Slushie - I even ordered another one because they were that good. My daughter also really liked the Non-Alcoholic version which was Vanilla Ice Cream and Red Starburst Slushie. For food, we ordered the Cubano Sandwich and Loaded Baked Potato with added Jalapenos. The food was okay - it was flavorful and cooked well, but there was nothing overly special about it. Our friends ordered Nachos and Fish Tacos as well which I think they enjoyed. Overall, I can't really comment on staff other than the guy at the counter that takes your order who was nice. I saw that they do events on Tuesdays like trivia and they also were advertising a fundraiser that was coming up - I like when businesses support their local community! I would definitely come back for a Beer Slushie...or three! Check them out!
