From our first meeting I had a great feeling that Gen X knew what they were doing. Jered was our DJ for the evening and he kept the reception moving at a great pace. Our first dance song is pretty tough to find and I wasn't sure if they'd be able to play it but of course they did! Right before the reception I also asked to add a particular song for my grandma, not a problem, Jered played it at a perfect time and it made the night for her. He was understanding that we weren't entirely sure what we wanted, and was not daunted by a potentially complicated setup (needed him to provide music for a cocktail venue after the ceremony and then transition back to the original venue for the reception). Leading up to the wedding, Jered was responsive to emails and questions and frequently went out of his way to make sure we were going to be satisfied with the services we were purchasing from him, which included an hour of on-site video game hosting for the children. He was a friendly and engaging DJ and MC during the wedding and had quite the crowd dancing by the end of the night. We told him we wanted the vibe to feel less like we hired a DJ to press play on a playlist of generic wedding music, and more like we had hired a DJ to come play bangers for us, our families and friends - this included mixing tracks to help us keep the energy up.
