This was our first home buying experience and we combed through many reviews to find THE best inspector. Mr. Wells was highly recommended from several Springtown area residents, and we agree! Mr. Wells was so kind and friendly! He walked us through each step, answered our questions, and was a true professional. He discovered a few "blips" in our new build house that he noted in the report, and rescheduling a second visit to address those fixes was a breeze. All items he discussed included photo evidence and detailed comments. We hired Mr. Wells again for an 11-month inspection (prior to the builders' warranty expiring) in November 2019. He was just as friendly, helpful, prompt, and professional as before! He also included maintenance tips in the report that gave us insight into how best to care for our home. Again, as new homeowners, this was especially helpful as there were items we had not considered! The gesture that really put Mr. Wells over the top was offering to let us borrow a plumbing snake to help clear a plumbing issue we recently discovered (unrelated to the inspection). After finalizing the inspection, Mr. Wells drove to his home to get the plumbing snake, drove back to our house, and dropped it off so we could borrow it for the weekend. Great communciation from Jonnie and he scheduled a new home inspection within our time line request. Christopher was our inspector and did a very detailed inspection. Christopher took his shoes off while in the house since he had been outside - very polite, professional and friendly. After the inspection he went around the home explaining what he found and explained any areas that he would write up on the report. We had the written report and video of the sewer lines/septic almost immediately! For the price - we thought what a great buy and well worth our peace of mind! A majority of my buyers utilize Jon Wells and Chris Strickland when having a home inspection completed. Not only are their reports thorough but they walk each buyer through the report at the end of their inspections. Chris is licensed to complete termite inspections which is amazing. You're not having to hire another company to perform a termite inspection and wait for the findings to come back.
